The men who moved us were friendly and very efficient. They turned up on time and were very reassuring. It was not an easy job as my road was very narrow with lots of impatient drivers trying to pass. They kept in contact with me throughout the process. They put covers down to protect the carpets at the new house as it was wet. They reassembled my dining table. All in all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. It made the process of moving a little less stressful. Thank you.

Fox always delivers great service
Fox has always been so helpful with our storage containers and now with the removal that we required they were again very helpful. They are reasonably priced, communication is very good and the staff are all amazing.

Absolutely superb experience
Arrived spot on time, surveyed the scene then three guys emptied a four bed house and garage workshop in an efficient and professional way. Nothing to much trouble, we opted for packing of delicates, so glad we did. This move is only an interim solution and we will certainly look for a quote when we move again in a few months time

This won't be the last time I use Fox Removals
This is the third time that I have used Fox Removal Group – my first two experiences were first class; the second one required international engagement with complex supplier community to ensure safe transfer. Nothing was too much travel for Dan & his colleagues, even being available out of conventional hours to be able to link in with a different time zone. It was my natural choice for my next moving requirement.
Recently, I required a fair amount to be transported from South Wales to London – some of the materials were delicate and had sentimental value. Despite people saying “xxxxx can do this with their van” and they were a little cheaper, what they lacked was reassurance, added value and pedigree that I have received previously from Fox Removals. This is in their DNA and now my removal company of choice.

Moving Day
The team arrived promptly and immediately began loading. The three man team were extremely polite and courteous and nothing was too much trouble. I had to do nothing but watch, they took care of everything. Everything was loaded in record time. On arrival at the new address again nothing was too much trouble and everything was unloaded, again in record time and placed where I requested. I am pleased to say that everything was intact.

From booking to the moving date was made very easy. The removal men turned up early and worked hard all day. Our furniture will go in storage before onward transit to France. So far I would recommend Fox.

I have warned ALL my friends NOT to use your company - absolutely atrocious 'service'.
Service is hardly the right word!
Your rep. (Alison) never mentioned that you could subcontract to another firm without asking the client, or even informing them, REGAL in my case.
Their van arrived a good 2 hours later than advised, inevitably causing pressure of time. There were only TWO operatives = seriously understaffed for the amount of furniture involved.
Almost the first thing they said was that it would be absolutely impossible to shift my antique Swiss walnut wardrobe out of my bedroom/study - its base was too large to 'clear the corner'. We pointed out that it had been moved in via the same corner no problem - so eventually they did move it out, successfully, but with bad grace.
A third operative joined them for a while - don't know where he came from, nor where he fairly soon disappeared to again.
While they were packing and loading I was suddenly informed that they were NOT allowed to unscrew any furniture fixed to a wall, like e.g. my antique corner cupboard in the dining-room - that was the FIRST I heard of this rule! Whatever would I have done if my son had not been present?!? He duly did all the necessary unscrewing.
Also, they informed me that they could not pack my herbs and spices, the transport of which Alison had assured me would be NO PROBLEM. She said (and I quote) 'Oh we do this all the time, no problem'. Clearly a lie, but one which had been a factor in making my choice.
Being seriously understaffed, overworked and (I suspect) not sufficiently trained must have contributed to the multiple damage they managed to cause.
When they unloaded in Echternach/Luxembourg
I found my parents' 1930s walnut dining-table scratched, a 1940s large hand-painted standard lampshade completely shredded, my grandma's 1911 mahogany sewing-machine chipped, and one of the brass hinges on the aforementioned antique Swiss walnut wardrobe warped - it is still possible to open/shut the wardrobe, but it needs force.
The same goes for my antique Swiss painted cupboard, which still opens/shuts, but it needs force to do it now, which was definitely not the case before.
All in all I would say this transport was very pushed for time and very obviously understaffed, possibly with under trained operatives, too.
My son had their belongings transported by a Luxembourg firm from Filsdorf to Echternach, admittedly within the same country, but a very comparable amount of furniture, crockery, glassware etc., including an antique Swiss painted cupboard. The difference in procedure could not have been any starker! There were four operatives, clearly very well trained and working as a team.
NOTHING GOT DAMAGED. They enquired about a wardrobe which the GB operatives had left in the hallway, saying it would need dismantling to take it upstairs. Nonsense, said the Luxembourgers, and duly carried it upstairs there and then. The four of them were quick, precise, polite - very efficient.
Rather hope your firm is not typical of GB removal firms!

For clarity, Regal are not subcontractors but a franchised agent we have successfully collaborated with for over a decade. We apologise if this was not fully explained to you at the outset. In addition, the restricted items list required by Swiss customs was shared with you in advance and explained as part of our process. We must comply fully with Swiss regulations and are only permitted to move items that customs allow, and we are sorry if this caused any confusion on the day.
With regard to the handling of your belongings, we note your concerns and will review them carefully with the teams involved. While every precaution is taken to prevent damage, moving large and sometimes antique items can present challenges, and on rare occasions, damage can occur despite best efforts.
