Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the quality of the products, noting that the biscuits tasted bland, stale, or had an awful aftertaste. Customers frequently mentioned a lack of chocolate or icing, and that the biscuits were filled with cheap ingredients. Some people also felt that the product size had decreased significantly, with fewer biscuits in each box and excessive, wasteful packaging designed to make the product appear fuller. However, a few other people also felt that the biscuits were still enjoyable.

Oversweet, pretty much inedible

Oversweet, leave a weird after taste.

These are specifically the half chocolate cookies but I find most foxes biscuits far far too sweet with no depth of flavour.

Years ago fox's used to be the biscuits to go for but either they or my tastes have changed and I find most of them inedible these days

Fox's Half Coated Milk Chocolate Biscuits

Fox's Half Coated Milk Chocolate Cookies

Disappointing, the chocolate tastes like cheap chocolate, might as well buy stores own as these now miss the mark.

When will manufactures stop with reduced Quality & Ingredients, stop with Shrinkflation & Formulation Changes - yet charging customers more.

If this is now the way of things; we ought to stop buying and find different little treats!

I used to love a Fox's biscuit

I used to love a Fox's biscuit, just purchased a packet of Fox's Chocolatey Millionaire Cookies and they are rank. They taste soft, but not chewy soft like a proper decent cookie, these all taste stale!

A big disappointment.

A big disappointment.
Recieved some biscuits for Xmas,
There are no 2 layers anymore, just empty packaging to fill the box underneath each biscuit.
There are a couple which has 2.
Why is everything getting smaller and still at full retail costs.
We are over paying people.

More packaging than biscuits

I still enjoy the biscuits but their packaging is a con, with more packaging than biscuits. Environmentally poor and deliberately deceiving their customers.

Max packaging, minimum biscuit

Can’t give no stars will have to give one.
Two layers of plastic insert inside the box of ‘Fox’s classic’ but each layer is only one biscuit deep, with air spacing underneath each biscuit.
Feel genuinely ripped off. Fox’s and the Burton brand can do one, I will not be buying any of their stuff again.

1853 until 2025 Skimpation and the company sold out

Tried their contact no. but no good. Disgusting/vile and inedible foxes biscuits. Far too much sugar as it is cheap. Too much bicarbonate, cheap,. Hardly any chocolate/cocoa. Biscuits supposed to be a selection, but all tasted the same.Filled with cheap plant fillers. Biscuits left an awful after taste even after cleaning teeth. 1853 until 2025 as public vote with their taste buds and money. Skimpation !!!

The boxes contain mostly air

The boxes contain mostly air and packaging, with the plastic trays featuring large, empty spaces designed to make the product look fuller than it is.

The increased spacing results in a smaller total number of biscuits in the box.

Feeling "ripped off" these biscuit boxes offer poor value for money.

Shame on you!
