Update: Freeletics eventually reimbursed me. I was charged €50 for a renewal without any prior notification before the end of my 3-month trial. This is a clear violation of French consumer la... See more

Non-serious business
Customer have no idea about active subscription and Freeletics do not let you know regarding up-coming renewal, only surprise you with full charge and to work this out with customer service is no possible since it is unfriendly with zero empathy. Totally not recommended.
Theives..
Theives... no warning of renewal and just took the money.. great way to sustain a business...
Great value and great app
I've using it about 6 months
I have enjoyed the journey and flexibility the app gives. I pick and choose days that suit and focus on particular goals. Without it I'd know very little of what to do
I think it's very good value for money
I would love to see more features such casting to big screen being stable and mid workout guide information
When I signed up I was expecting more…
When I signed up I was expecting more of a motivational experience. This app isn't it. The workouts are fine but there's a lack of reminder notifications and similar. And for the price, it isn't worth it. I'm also not fond of them auto-charging an increased rate. I gave up on the app a long time ago and was shocked when I was charged 99.99 EUR again.
Contractual thievery
Awful customer service.
Contractual thievery
No warning of renewal and renewal charged at inflated price.
No cool of period and automatic responses to queries of refund.
Will definitely be taking to ombudsman.
Actually works, worth the money
Been using this for years, there really is nothing comparable on the market. Gives me all the guidance and motivation I need to stick to my exercise routine and see results. Will continue using for sure.
Disappointing Experience with Freeletics Subscription Renewal
I recently had a very disappointing experience with Freeletics that I feel compelled to share. My primary issue centers around their subscription renewal policy, which I found to be lacking in transparency and customer consideration.
My subscription was automatically renewed without any prior notification. As a customer, I expect clear communication regarding such important matters, especially when it involves financial transactions. The absence of a reminder or alert before the renewal took place left me feeling blindsided.
Upon contacting Freeletics to request a refund for the renewal - which I had not intended to continue - I was met with a rigid and uncompromising response. They categorically denied my request for a refund, citing policy reasons. This inflexibility in handling customer concerns, especially in situations where the service is no longer needed or used (I barely used it), is disappointing.
While Freeletics offered a voucher equivalent to the remaining subscription period as an alternative, this solution does not equate to the financial reimbursement I sought. While this might be a suitable resolution for some, it did not address my specific situation, where the service no longer aligns with my needs and moreover is extremely expensive (almost $80 USD per year).
Freeletics claims that the automatic renewal policy is clearly mentioned at the time of purchase and in its Terms and Conditions. However, this practice does not substitute for direct communication with customers about upcoming renewals. This is a typical practice of untransparent companies to squeeze the last drop. However, they don't understand that with these tactics, churn and complain rates increase and referral decreases. A more proactive approach in this regard would significantly enhance the customer experience. they are very proactive telling you that they will not give your money back. I received their response email in less than 1 minute, yes, 1 minute! Of course, automatic response, which reflects that a lot of people have the same problem.
In summary, my experience with Freeletics has been less than satisfactory. The lack of clear communication regarding subscription renewals and the inflexible stance on refunds have left a negative impression. I believe there is a significant room for improvement in how they handle their subscription policies and customer service. This experience has unfortunately deterred me from continuing to use their services, and I would advise potential customers to be wary of these issues.
Free athlete since 2016
I have been using Freeletics since 2016 and it has been a great journey to become a greater version of myself. There is a variety of workouts that should meet most of your goals.
Freeletics is awesome
I’ve been using Freeletics for years now and it’s been a huge success. App itself is great and support quickly replied when I asked for an invoice. I 100% recommend it.
AVOID. FREERIDE ON YOUR BANK ACCOUNT
AVOID
I signed up to freeletics during the first UK covid lockdown - for a 30day trial if I recall.
I didnt get on with it and cancelled, however they have been continueing to take payments every 6 months. My wife (who checks our credit card statements) just assumed I was still using it. The fact that my account was dormant/unused didnt matter to freeletics whose business model (judging from the many others who have had the same experience as me) is to take a freeride (;-) on my bank account.
AVOID.
NB the reason I cancelled is that they are not good value. Try eckhart yoga instead - not just yoga/nicer people/better values and better value for money.
The app is poor, not worth the money. Customer service is also terrible
The app itself is poor, I signed up for 1 year and soon realised that I wasn't learning anything new, I was better just doing my own routines. When I received a notification that they were charging me another full year I immediately contacted them bit they point blank refused to refund the £94, what a waste of money, their customer service is absolutely terrible, I'm disgusted. Don't waste your money!
Highly recommended.
I’ve really enjoyed maintaining my fitness motivation with Freeletics.
I’ve been doing it for 4 months now and the combination of goal based workouts and variability in workouts means I maintain interest and follow through.
It’s been the best money spent and best results I’ve achieved pursuing fitness goals.
No refund on automatic subscription renewal.
My subscription to the app renewed today, on the same day I cancelled the service and I am told I can not get a refund. What terrible service in todays standard. I believe they should offer a 14 day no quibble refund like other companies, in fact I wonder if this is law? Please do not download this app, there are better apps out there. This one is aweful!
Meh workouts, imperfect app, and terrible business policy
Found the workouts to be meh. They frequently just use large numbers to substitute for actual challenges or increased difficulty. The app also has a number of issues that make it un-fun to use. You want the app to disappear while you work so you can focus on what you're working on. Finally, I had thought I'd cancelled my membership after my reduced rate trial. I hadn't. And, they refuse to let you know they are going to charge you until after they do. Despite asking for the payment (that had yet to be processed) to be reversed they had the audacity to say they can't refund. This is a riduclous stance that has no validity other than their hope to trick people into paying - a terrible business practice.
Great exercise plan
Been using it about a year for muscle gain. Great coaching and exercise plan and scheduling is quite motivational. I’ve combined this with nutrition changes. I’m 63 and in the last year I’ve lost 19kg and reshaped my body and probably fitter and stronger now than at 45.
Renewal of contract without previous…
Renewal of contract without previous information and Alert. Talked with costumer service and nothing could be done.
It’s s shame
The excercises are boring and repetitive. They also take money even if you unsubscribe.
Awesome app
Wow! Awesome app 😊 Helped me get started with body weight training.

A deeply misleading app
A deeply misleading app.
It claims to be using 'AI' to intelligently update your program based on the feedback you give.
First, I find that the feedback I give after each workout has no real impact on what tomorrow's session will be. Try it yourself - tell the app it was far too easy, and it'll give you much the same workout going forward, with no adjustments. Tell the app it was too hard - same thing. The 'AI-powered program' is nothing more than a pre-determined plan it's following.
Within the day's workout, you can tell it to generate a harder or easier one. I find it's an incredibly blunt adjustment - either massively more difficult exercises, many of which it never 'coached' me on before, or uselessly easy ones.
I stopped using the app after a while. It was fine as a total beginner, but it's just not useful for me after that. I forgot to cancel the subscription (my fault completely) and they refused to refund the second years payment.
Funny that they don't bother emailing you when your subscription is up for renewal. It's as if they know you forgot...
