BIG UPZ TO FRIENDLY RENTALS

We have had wonderful experiences staying in numerous apartments booked through Friendly Rentals and have always been impressed with their kind and helpful staff. Repeat apartments in Barcelona, Paris, San Sebastian, Bilbao, Rome and most recently in Madrid have all exceeded our expectations. The city locations have always been perfect for our needs, be it close to the old town, the beach, art galleries and museums or funky neighbourhoods. We usually search out apartments with a balcony or terrace and watch the sunset before heading out to local restaurants and bars. We highly recommend Friendly Rentals to our family and friends without any reservation.

Excellent accommodation and extremely helpful staff.

Our apartment in Barcelona was situated just off Las Ramblas. We could not have been better situated. The apartment was modern, very well appointed and had a bright atmosphere. The staff on arrival were helpful and efficient. But we discovered the true value of Friendly Rentals when we realised in London that we had left our travel money pouch in the apartment. We were most impressed with the Customer Care Manager James Ramirez who went out of his way to assist us once we had communicated our predicament. He kept in touch with us on email in a most reassuring way until the pouch was located. James then organised for the money to be transferred back into our credit card. We will certainly book with Friendly Rentals from now on when we travel.

Holiday stay at Apartment Barca in Barcelona

A very pleasant stay. The apartment was ideally spacious with all facilities excellent, including service. In fact representative of the Gothic area and age. Simple and efficient information to receive and leave the apartment.
The whole experience was very satisfactory for all the family.

Lovely apartment- Domus in Trastevere, Rome

Apartment great for 6-7 people, very clean. Giuiletta was there to meet us even though we were earlier than the check in time and when the weather got colder we phoned her and she was there in 20 minutes to turn on the central heating.Good personal service. The kitchen in particular was very well equipped with utensils and equipment. Apartment in good position for tram and local shops and restaurants. Would use this company again and recommend it to others.

Very friendly service

First time of using Friendly Rentals and new to concept of short term apartment rental. The website was very accurate and honest about our chosen apartment. Had slight problem over the Internet payment but rang the number and member of staff sorted it out on the spot. I was sitting in coffee house in Northumberland UK and she was , I think in Barcelona. No worry, she knew where I was calling from and spoke to me in English. Many thanks. All questions were met with prompt responses, and our hosts in milan were equally welcoming. Lived up to the name 'friendly' rentals. Shall certainly use your service again when have time for a holiday!! Jane from North of England.

Victoria 1 apartment Barcelona.

We had a 4 night stay in the Victoria 1 apartment in Barcelona recently and have to say it was
everything I hoped for the apartment was great, the location was fantastic, close to the beach
and the metro system was just up the road.
The Friendly Rentals team were great and very helpful and understanding.
Would definitely return to this apartment again and will be looking to book in the very near future.

Friendly rentals apartments

I have stayed in Friendly rentals apartments in Lisbon, Florence, Milan and in Barcelona at several. I have always found them well located, clean with all mod cons. Booking in and out is straightforward and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. Top job!

Excellent service and a very high quality apartment in Lisbon

Our stay in Lisbon was most pleasant, due in large part to Friendly Apartments. They offered to pick us up at the airport, which was most fortunate, because the day we arrived, there was a taxi strike at the airport. If not for Hugo picking us up, I do not know how we would have been able to get to our apartment. Once there, our apartment was everything we could have hoped for, with an excellent location, expansive views of the harbor, well furnished and good Internet service. We would use Friendly Apartments again wherever we go and they operate. (Actually, we are doing that right now in Barcelona.) I can't speak highly enough of Friendly.

The Pearl III Apartment in Rome

We booked through Friendly Rentals and they were more than helpful right from the start. The Customer Care Manager James always answered my emails promptly and with all answers. The Rome delegates were also more than friendly and helpful at all times. When we arrived at the apartment there was someone there to greet us, go through everything we might need to know about the apartment and the area, gave us a map and went through the places to visit and then left us to enjoy Rome.

We thoroughly enjoyed oursleves, loved going back to the apartment every day and kept saying things like, "we need to get some milk and bread before we get home" and the whole holiday was a dream come true for us.

I would highly recommend Friendly Rentals to anyone who wishes to travel abroad. We certainly will be using them again.

I have been using this company for over 7 years now and they are growing and becoming better & better
I truly recommend Friendly rentals as an excellent accommodation purveyor
The pictures on the website are a true reflection of the place you are planning to rent
Communication and customer service is excellent - responses on emails are within 1/2 hours and you will be provided with an emergency number in case the office is closed and you need help

Simply the best rental company in Sitges!

We have used Friendly rentals numerous times over the years and they have always been excellent. The service is very good and the quality of the apartments they offer is amazing. We locked ourselves out of our apartment during our last visit and they had a spare key sent over to us within ten minutes! Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Excellent experience

I booked this particular apartment nearly 20 months ahead of time in order to enjoy a 'ringside' seat of the Regatta Storica and was not disappointed. Friendly Rentals are, what the title says, friendly - they are also professional and top of their game with communication.

Our apartment was fantastic - we were made to feel welcome and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The apartment is in a beautiful old palace with a lovely garden which were able to enjoy. The area Dorsoduro is excellent, far less tourists and we enjoyed meandering around the area. San Marco is easily accessible therefore one can choose to visit either early in the morning or for an evening aperitif in order to escape the daytime crowds. There is the added advantage on being close to vaporetto stop and also having your own Aqua Porta should you need a taxi.

Everything was perfect - throwing open the shutters in the mornings to view the comings and goings of the Grand Canal!

unsatisfactory experience madrid agency

Agency unreachable on arrival in Madrid, communication problems with the staff; which arrives on site 1 hour after us. And of course we did pay the extra 30 euros for arrivals after 21h. A haughty staff agency and not a trader, that takes us up when claiming reimbursement of these 30 euros. This agency is very unprofessional. Best of all, they took us 300 euro deposit instead of 200 euros registered in the contract (thankfully reimbursed promptly, four days after departure)
Otherwise the apartment met our expectations

Fantastic

Our stay at the gran via was perfect. No hassle whatsoever appartment was clean and fab location. Our only downside was the wifi connection which was slightly poor. Definitely will book again.

Do not trust the apartments reviews

Funny but I was asked to review the star penthouse apartment, which was a real bad experience. I did write a long review with all the bad experiences I went through and for what...? Nothing appears and if you check the reviews of every apartment (at least in Granada) you will only find the positive comments!!! Shame on friendlyrentals. My first time booking with them and definitely the last one!

Reviews provided by our customers are reviewed by management and then published within two weeks. Unfortunately the last two reviews of the apartment where you stayed (including yours) were unsatisfactory and they did not meet our normal customer experience. For this reason, the apartment has been removed from our portfolio until we can best resolve this. Also, the feedback form we request from our customers encourages an objective explanation of what they like the most and the least along with questions and score compilations. What a customer likes the least is reviewed for internal purposes and used in determining how to best improve the apartment and service. If an apartment has more than one bad experience, we simply remove the apartment from our portfolio until a standards inspection/review is completed.
