Total waste of time, pulled paint off wall, was only on for a min, caused more work, don't buy

Slightly more expensive than the old blue tape but in my opinion slightly better performance,less bleed and even though it has a mid tackiness it holds firm without causing paint peel.
Perfect straight lines every time,great for detailing work.
Highly recommend

Paint does bleed thru and you DO NOT GET A CLEAN STRAIGHT LINE. Don't spend your money to buy this tape. I had to run to Lowes and pay $17 to buy another quart of paint to cover up Frog Tape bleeding. I will never use Frog tape again and if you are smart you will avoid it at all cost.

I have to agree with most of the other reviewers, I bought this as normal masking tape usually tears. This is supposed to be for delicate surfaces yet has far too much adhesion. A complete waste of money. If you want true low tack tape use Tamiya, expensive but so much better.

Horrendous tape. I bought the delicate surface tape after years of using normal Masking tape, thinking I was making a wise investment on a job that I wanted as perfect as possible. It stuck to the surface so hard, it was impossible to remove without it peeling the paint off, very frustrating and an expensive redo. Avoid at all costs. You are much better off de-tacking normal Masking tape on your trousers before application and you will not have this problem

Wish I’d read the reviews before using this tape.
It has literally taken off all the wall paper. When I noticed what was happening I used a hairdryer and delicately with painstaking care tried to peel it off, however it still took it off.
Then I checked the painted wall I covered for cutting in and yep it’s taken that off too. Hours more work and money. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!

Awful tape bleeds really bad and rips up and destroys your existing paint or varnish, exact opposite of what they promise!! Expensive not worth it

This tape bleeds through no matter what you do. I’ve tried everything and it still bled through. It is so frustrating. I was trying to surprise my granddaughter and remodel her bedroom. I tried all the suggested recommendations and it still didn’t prevent the bleeding through.

I needed two coats so could not remove the tape. When I removed the tape it took (tore) both layers off the wall. There were places where the paint bled through. This stuff is NOT cheap. I will go back to the old school tan masking tape and take my chances. Thanks for all the extra work I have to look forward to. I mean, I’ve got nothing else better to do than to redo the job. UGH! Frog tape can suck it!!!

Awful, Awful product. I'd give it zero stars if that were an option. Used on new wallpaper to cut paint in and it completely ripped new wallpaper off. At £66 a roll you can imagine how angry I was. Then I painted a cupboard. 48hrs later I put tape on to mask the edges, it pulled paint off to bare wood. This has cost me time and money. It needs to be taken off the market as it doesn't do what it says it can. Use at your own peril - you've been warned.

Wish I had read the reviews. £4.99 this pile of s***** cost me. Paint had been drying for over a week and it has pulled it off down to the core. How are companies like this still able to sell their product? Do not buy!!!!

Wish I had read this page first. Spent days carefully painting and letting it dry before putting this tape on. Just taken it off and most of the paint has come with it. Total waste of time and money - in fact it is worse that that because I now have more work to do that if I had never used it in the first place.

Totally does not do what it says on the packing. Where do I get a refund?

One star is too much!!! Just spent 2 days painting and now taking the tape off after cutting in and it’s taken huge chunks of the paint off! Never mind it doesn’t actually stick properly and that image on the front is so misleading!! It lets so much paint through!

Absolute crap. Never use tape but had to do a repaint on a ceiling against a wall. The wall paint had been on for two years. This supposed gentle tape, tore a great chunk of the old paint off the wall. Customer had none spare so have had to get more paint and now paint the whole wall as the new mix didn’t quite match.
Wished I’d trusted my instincts and cut in by hand.

Tried to do a geometric wall pattern after seeing online. The frog tape took off all our new paint we had just painted and left to dry. Thoroughly recommend to not use!

Totally useless if used on masonry work.

Does not seal airtight. So, no better than basic masking tape and double the price.

Awful tape, we did everything advised applying it to paint that was already 24hrs plus dry but it ripped it all when we peeled it off absolute rubbish now have to repaint free hand.
Waste of money and time so disappointed wish I had of read these reviews before we bough and used this tape!!!

Just the same as everyone else, joiner had done a fantastic job of fitting new door and architrive, used the yellow frog for right round to varnish,when I peeled it off large amounts of paint came off as well, I wouldn't mind but the guy in the hardware store said it was right for the job. £7.00 and now a repaint

My first experience with this tape did not go well. It pulls the paint off when you try to remove it. I had to repair so many places. I stopped using it and went back to my old standard and had no issues. Unfortunately I had taped most of the room already. This tape is too sticky - it is really messy to work with. It won’t come off in one piece either so you have to try and scrape off the rest. I won’t use it again

So much extra work. I will never use again.

Bought the more expensive yellow "delicate surface" tape to mask an emulsioned wall prior to painting rails, frames, skirting. Did the test on a smaller area - perfect! Masked up, painted a larger area, removed as advised - it took off most of the paint underneath leaving me a big repair job. Crap!! If you can't trust the test what do you do. Clearly you can't test it all - that wouldn't be a test that'd be doing the job!! Ironically this is the first time I've ever used FrogTape and, even more annoyingly, the first time I've ever masked to paint rails, frames etc, relying instead on a good brush, care and patience. Never again!!
