Bought the more expensive yellow "delicate surface" tape to mask an emulsioned wall prior to painting rails, frames, skirting. Did the test on a smaller area - perfect! Masked up, painted a larger are... See more

Absolute garbage. It doesn’t deserve 1 star. Can’t believe this is sold as a solution to painting clean lines. It does that alright but be prepared for a big repair job of filling, sanding and repaint... See more

Useless tape
Useless tape
Costs more than masking tape, but does a worse job. Wrecked my walls now having to repaint....
This product does not do what it says
This product does not do what it says, it just ruins your room, DO NOT BUY!!!
The yellow 'LOW TACK' tape has completely took the emulsion from my wall down to bare plaster, this room had a PVA wash coat, a full white coat, then finally 2 coats of Little Greene Intelligent Eggshell Emulsion at £59.50 per tin and its a JOKE!
After 3 emails directly to Frog Tape UK they still will not reply... Product = RUBBISH, Customer Service = TERRIBLE!
Crap
Crap! Lifted the existing paint right off down to the new plaster walls which had been all prepped and primed correctly over a year previous. Used the "low tack" yellow one too, room looks a right mess now. Don't bother, overpriced rubbish
I used the yellow low tack on a wall…
I used the yellow low tack on a wall that had been painted over a year ago, I wanted to repaint the wood door frame and architrave 1 x undercoat 1 x top coat 3 days later took the tape off and it has taken lots of paint off of the wall, WHAT A LOAD OF EXPENSIVE CRAP. I emailed the company they never even responded to my email. Thanks a bunch Frog tape. if you want my opinion stick to masking tape its a lot cheaper and works better.
This is the worst tape I have ever used…
This is the worst tape I have ever used just pulled the paint off all the way around.I even bought the delicate one tp make sure this didn't happen.
Worst product I’ve ever used
This is the worst product I have ever used. I painted one wall and used it to mask the corners of the two adjacent walls and the skirting board. When I took the tape off not only had it failed to stop paint ingress (which is its main purpose), it peeled off most of the paint I’d just put in with it. What really annoys me is that Frogtape charge so much more than regular tape, claiming it is so much better than other tape, when in reality, I’ve had better results from a £1 roll of masking tape. I’ll never use this, or any other of their products again and will urge others to do the same.
Frog Tape Delicate Surface is not fit for purpose
Used regular masking tape for entire wardrobe carcassing then bought frog tape delicate surface for the two end panels which I was also painting and which butted onto walls that were plastered 3 months ago, then painted 6 weeks ago. when I very carefully removed the frog tape it pulled off all the new paint it covered from the walls back to the original plaster on both unit ends. I am gutted. Now the walls will have to be repainted with 2 coats. The regular masking tape caused no damage. Ironic. Only bought the Frog tape because it specifically claimed it was for use on delicate surfaces such as new plaster and new paint. It is total rubbish. I have photographs of the peeled off wall paint on the frog tape; and of the walls in question and of some of the frog tape still in situ.
Pulled paint off down to the plaster
We used the delicate version of Frog Tape and it has lifted the paint off down to the plaster. So annoying shan’t use again

States low tack tape but isn't
States low tack tape, definitely not! Put it on my walls to gloss the skirting, luckily only did 1 wall and the tape pulled my paint clean off! So annoyed. Straight in the bin
Used the delicate tape advertised as…
Used the delicate tape advertised as suitable for freshly painted surfaces and despite leaving over a week before using tape on the ceiling I used frog tape to try to get a nice neat line prior to painting the walls once I finished the wall I removed the tape immediately and yes like many other reviews it pulled the paint of the ceiling, the tape should be removed from the market it is not fit for purpose do not use
Delicate Surface FrogTape
Used the delicate surface FrogTape. This is supposed to be for "Freshly Painted Surfaces". I used this to mask off the edge of my plaster coving, whilst I emulsioned the walls. When I removed the tape as per the instructions it has pulled a significant amount of paint off my coving! It is supposed to be Low Tack tape but it feels really sticky to me! The plaster coving was painted around 2 weeks ago with Dulux Trade paint. It has now ruined the job and I will have to try to repaint the edge of the coving by hand. Defeats the object of using this tape! This is not the first time it has done this, but this time it seems worse! Would I recommend it? If you are sticking to a glossed surface it's fine, but for me it is too tacky for emulsion and I certainly wouldn't chance it on wallpaper.
