If you're an owner of a SME the FSB is your security blanket. Hopefully you won't need them but if you do the service is always impeccable. If you value efficiency, expertise and reliability then you'll appreciate a FSB membership. An affordable and as far as I'm concerned a compulsory expense for any SME.

The most useful membership and well worth the investment, I've been a member of FSB since 2006. It offers invaluable support and advice for small businesses and also microbusinesses. My area rep Garry (East of Scotland) is an absolute legend and is always there when my fitness business hits another challenge (pandemic, Leith tram project). I've also learned so much through the events and excellent networking. Thank you FSB! Highly recommended...

Chris popped into to tell us all about the FSB services. Wow, I wish I had known I could have access to all these things years ago. I have joined straight away. Chris was helpful and talked me though everything simply and concisely. He really is a credit to the organisation and you can tell he has been working with them a long time with all his knowledge. Throughout the span of 35 years, I have actively participated and been a member of 11 different organizations / associations. Yet, without a doubt, FSB stands out as the most amiable, welcoming, and accomplished organization I've had the privilege of being a member of. The impressive depth of support to small businesses is matched by their accessibility and quality of personnel.

Excellent and proactive service enabled me to use a physio not already registered with FSB Care. The whole process was easy and the staff very pleasant to deal with.

The co-branded FSB and BNI Merseyside event last night at PINS Social Club, was really interesting. I have recently discovered that the FSB has been charging me fees for 3 employees that I do not have, they have been charging this for the las 23 years. Having pointed this out they have refused to talk to me about the matter apart from offering me a free years fees, they then took the fees from my bank. Going on last years fee the amount I am
Owed to my reckoning is up to £1,196.00. My emails are now being ignored I wrote to the CE weeks ago and have been ignored.
Thinking of joining? Be careful.
Update, I rang the number given in the reply and the lady who invited me to talk to her had gone home, however I was told she would be left a message to call me the following day, I have not received any calls thus far but this is not unexpected as they just ignore my query all the time I believe hoping I’ll give up and go away. I did hold the fan in high esteem but alas they just seem to be a cowboy outfit.

I absolutely love the FSB - they have been so helpful on a whole bunch of things. During the pandemic they were amazing, helping us with so many HR issues etc. Then I picked up an injury and they funded some physio for me - absolutely amazing. Membership is a complete no-brainer, our local guy Jeremy Reeve is fab too.

My experience with FSB was excellent, this was due Charlotte whose explanation was easy to understand and follow.

It was so nice to have Martin Gibbs call me at my office to explain how to use the website and also the benefits I had access to as an FSB member to which there were many more than I realised. I would highly recommend joining the FSB as a small business, especially if people like Martin are part of it to kindly and clearly explain the process. I feel very looked after should I need it.

Had my introduction telephone meeting with Martin this afternoon and I am blown away with the knowledge and professionalism shown from the outset. I joined FSB for their networking and legal assistance, I now know that the FSB is so much more. Having a one stop shop for so many areas of expertise is proving to be invaluable. I think the FSB needs training in GDPR and electronic communications. I have not given my permission, yet here you are, breaking the law again.

As you have chosen to send your marketing email (advertising legal advice) to a law firm, I will educate you on the rule of law... The rules on electronic mail marketing are outlined in The Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.

Regulation 22 states: YOU MUST NOT send marketing emails or texts to individuals without SPECIFIC CONSENT unless they are a customer. I'm not a customer, and I've not given consent, so I'd like to hear Julie's / Roger's explanation behind why you feel it is appropriate to break the law? I understand it is difficult, but you need to set up referral partners and make genuine personal approaches - maybe then, you will avoid advertising legal advice to a law firm!

I love the networking at the FSB. Always keen to learn about other businesses and business owners. Our West Yorkshire events on a Tuesday morning always throw up some great ideas and advice. We have some fun along the way too!

Yet another fantastic FSB online experience yesterday at the Chester and West Cheshire Virtual Network meeting - Really well run by Darren Gallimore, Natalie Simm and the team with over 30 quality attendees - and 4 really good breakout rooms.

Justin Yates was very informative in the welcome call. I’m looking forward to using the benefits that we discussed.
