Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 216 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers frequently complain about unexpected auto-renewals on annual subscriptions and the strict refusal of the business to issue refunds for unused services. People note that customer support is unhelpful, unresponsive, and difficult to reach when attempting to resolve billing problems or account cancelations. Though some reviewers were happy with specific support interactions and felt the website concept is a nice idea, many users still received zero valid leads. Reviewers also mentioned that dealing with spammy inquiries and clumsy website navigation made managing property listings a frustrating waste of time.

They don't post our reviews

They don't post our reviews. They say they don't want to be involved but they protect the slumlords from where they get their income. This leaves other customers at risk.

Scam

Scam. I havent had a rental for a year. My cc changed so I thought my acct was closed. Today I get an email for a charge for $199. They wont cancel it because of policy. In the process of dispute. Complete scam. Would never use them.

I call it Frustration Finder

I call it Frustration Finder. For every 10 inquiries you make, you get 1 reply ... and the rate is usually nowhere what's posted and the dates are not updated at all. If an app could be more worthless, it might actually be useful for the laughs. Full avoid. A truly worthless app.

Charged my card without permission

They claimed I had my auto renewal on and charged me $200 to re-list. I did NOT have e my auto renewal on. They refused to refund my money. They also claimed they emailed me about the renewal. They only emailed me that my card was expired. This is a horrible company DO NOT USE!!! Also, they NEVER did anything to verify my listing so I could have been a scammer and the renters would have never known. SHYSTER company!

BE WARY OF AUTO-RENEWAL CHARGES

Found a fabulous renter very quickly - auto-renew option is automatically enabled - paid for a 2nd year even though renter was staying. When I tried to cancel for the 3rd year because my listing had been hidden for 18 months - I reached out the day after my credit card was auto charged and they refused - there had been no activity - the listing was hidden. Will not allow me to remove my credit card info and refused to refund. Customer service is horrendous and she then tried to see me additional time - I can't even cancel until 2027 when I have had the same renter for 2+ years.

Furnished finders sounded great, BUT...

Furnished finders sounded great, however I paid my 199.00 and support turned to only online help articles and when I could not verify my account, since my property was not listing, I called to get reimbursed since I went with another company and they informed me it was NON REFUNDABLE - despite my not having a single day listed. I am dismayed at this company's commitment to their customer and I do not recommend them.

I spent 4 days contacting 30+people via message on website, then inquiry then call, 2 people replied on inquiry saying they were already booked. It was not updated. 5 people answered the phone and I left voicemails for all the rest and nobody called back. So if you want to book you may want to try looking and inquiring a month or longer in advance. Communication is poor, even with the phone number even though that is supposed to be the best way.

Unauthorized charges

Furnished finder company just charged me an unauthorized $199 on my credit card on 6/19/2026 . When I asked for a refund they refused . It appears that they fraudulently added me to a " subscription " which I never signed up for . Additionally , they refused to remove my credit card from their Web site when I asked them to do so . God only knows how many people are being ripped off by that company . Worst company to do business with

Company actively makes the process harder.

I messaged several landlords on Furnished Finder and had my messaging feature disabled for a "trust team review". Took the team 48 to 72 hours to resolve it, because the live customer support team could not do it, it had to be referred to a separate team. This resulted in a bunch of active conversations with the landlords go dead and miss A weekend of viewings. I've now had to delay a home construction project as a result.

There are many things outside the company's control that make this process difficult: They can't make landlords respond. They can't make landlords reflect accurate availability, And there's definitely nothing they can do about inventory. Those items alone would already make the experience of working on FurnishedFinder fairly frustrating. To also layer on messaging blocks? I dont understand why we need to make an already difficult problem harder.

I recommend the company not shut down active conversations. It's fine if they want to block new ones for whatever "trust team review" they want to do, but active ones should be allowed to continue. That small change could maybe have turned me from "I regret spending time on Furnished Finder" to "man, this is a tough problem"

For Landlords

For Landlords: Terrible platform experience. Platform feels like it was built in 2002. The most modern design practices; techniques for a landlord to edit their listings, talk with prospects, save leads, and more --- are noticeably absent on the entire platform. It is absolutely horrific. (On both sides by the way. When you talk with tenants, they say the same thing)

Trust and Safety:
I had a horrific experience with a prospect ... scary and dangerous.
They went 5 days and did nothing. They did not respond, they did not contact me, they did not reach out at all.

This is not only horrific, but also a true incidence where my safety was compromised, and the company did not communicate with me at all.

Warning to Hosts: High Volume of Spam and No Management Accountability

Warning to Hosts: High Volume of Spam and No Management Accountability!
Furnished Finder only offers a rigid, 12-month upfront subscription option with no shorter terms available. I purchased an annual subscription to list a property. Within the first two months, the platform failed to deliver its basic advertised service. Out of the three inquiries received through the platform, two were obviously spam and one appeared to be a phishing attempt. Zero legitimate leads were generated.
When I contacted customer service to report these platform issues and request a fair, pro-rated refund for the remaining 10 months of unused service, I found out that the company offers absolutely no customer satisfaction guarantee and I ran into a total stonewall. The company uses an off-site call center trained to block users from speaking to management or escalating complaints. Their official position is that they will enforce a "no refunds ever" policy, even when a user receives nothing but spam traffic.
If you are a property owner, be warned that you may end up paying a premium upfront fee for unvetted traffic and zero customer support when things go wrong. Avoid this platform.

My subpar experience with FF

Here is my experience with FF: I paid for a full year where I was never able to convert any applicants, who ranged from temporary placement services serving insurance clients, to desperate people with no credit and no money who want you to open your door to them, to downright scammers into actual tenants. “I’m sending the paperwork to the insurance company now” from the service that would not respond to any emails going forward. Now you may say that it must be my rent was too high or the market oversaturated and I am willing to take that blame. But after 10 months of failed attempts I listed the home on Facebook marketplace as an unfurnished year long lease and immediately had a contract. I instructed FF to hide my listing for the future. When my 1 year anniversary with FF came, I received a notice that they had processed my CC for another year at $200. No, I was not sent a courtesy reminder ahead of time that they would be doing this. Yes, I tried to have the membership for the upcoming year cancelled and my money refunded. After ‘talking’ to their bot that gave helpful tips like, “go to your dashboard and turn off auto renewal.” I finally was connected to a human named Andrea. For texting, of course. She promised to help. And after wasting another 15 minutes of my time told me that their no refund policy, which I agreed to, is set in stone. No recourse except to suggest I put the membership on hold for 6 months. Here’s the thing: in an age of automation, a courtesy email to let me know that they will be renewing my membership costs them NOTHING. Their refusal to give that courtesy can only be taken as a way to entrap unwilling and unhappy customers who have had a terrible experience in year one into an unneeded year two. Predatory is how I would characterize them. Along with being inept and absolutely indifferent to customer satisfaction.
