Annoying waste of time. Was looking for a place for a couple of months. Search on the site showed many options. None were actually available. Bad info.

Takes fees on inactive properties and will not issue a refund even though property was inactive over a year... no good just use other platforms.

I made numerous inquiries to "Furnished Finder" for accommodations in Rochester, Mn. I am a nurse at Mayo and did not want to sign a one-year lease. Not ONE person contacted me from the many condos and homes that were listed. Another Airbnb landlord pulled a bait and switch for a very old closet-sized space, non-furnished space. Poor communication with this company.

Landlords a not responsive and had one who had me fill out a credit/background check which was clean as a whistle. Have yet to hear back about the room. Probably gets a kick back from credit reports. Beware!!!

Never using this platform again. They wouldn't refund money for me even though they never sent a warning email to mention an upcoming subscription renewal. This is illegal. I haven't used this platform for a year and they still wouldn't budge. Never again will I use this platform.

Furnished finder is a scam. Their whole purpose of this website is to scam their subscribers’ renewals. You can subscribe if you don’t allow renewals. The minute that the renewal is processed, you can’t cancelled it.

Beware- the company auto renewables your policy and WILL NOT refund even if it autorenewed one day ago. I never actually got a renter from the company. They allegedly sent an email reminding me of the auto renew which I never received.

Many folks with housing do not reply. For example I have submitted 18 applications for housing and have gotten 2 responses. Now I'm down to 2 weeks at this place and I started this a month ago. Many folks want 6 month or 1 yr contract. As a healthcare professional we usually have 3 month contracts so don't understand why folks would ask for a longer term or even have their places on this website. They also don't put that the places are occupied. Yes the 2 folks that did get back with me their places are occupied. This is such a time waster for me. Will be looking elsewhere for housing. This happened between 9-1-26 and 4-24-26.

This business takes advantage of people trying to help the professional community with housing. They take your $199 and lock you in for a year before you have the opportunity to discover that the site is saturated with housing in your area. Once you discover this you don't have any opportunity to get a refund even within 24 hours or to get out. They have a no refund policy knowing the platform is saturated in some areas and in my opinion are not operating an honorable business model.

CAUTION: If you are a landlord, BEWARE OF BUSINESS PRACTICES.

If you sign up for them and put on auto-renew, they will automatically charge you one year later. I was just charged $199. My listing has been hidden since 2 weeks after we signed up over a year ago. They would not refund my credit card for their renewal charge and stood by their policy despite my repeated requests.

Scam company - charge you automatically, make it very difficult to find a way to cancel and wont provide refund.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

If I could leave negative stars, I would. Absolute nightmare company. Firstly, nothing on the site works as it should - clearly drawn up with minimal effort and zero site maintenance. It's insanely difficult to use as a landlord and as a tenant. Secondly, you'll never find anyone on there. I had my house up for months and I had nothing but weird, off-putting messages. Imagine the worst version of FB Marketplace and it's still better than this.

Lastly - the site WILL SET YOU TO AUTORENEW EVEN IF YOU DID NOT ASK FOR IT OR KNOW ABOUT IT. They will give you no notice, and they will not refund your money. It was an expensive lesson, too. They are absolutely a scam - please please please don't use them.

I used Furnished Finder and was required to complete a paid tenant screening through KeyCheck. The resulting “Resident Score” was inconsistent with my verified credit profile from TransUnion, and there was no clear explanation of how the score was calculated.

For context, I am not a high-risk applicant. I have owned my home for seven years and have never missed a payment. That history does not appear to be reflected in the screening result, which raises concerns about how the score is determined.

I contacted customer support multiple times across both companies. While representatives were polite, they were not able to clearly address my specific questions about how the score was calculated or how it could be reviewed. Instead, I was directed to general help articles that did not resolve my concerns.

Both companies repeatedly redirected me to one another. KeyCheck stated Furnished Finder manages the platform, while Furnished Finder stated KeyCheck owns the screening. I was not provided with a way to formally dispute or review the result, and no accountability was taken by either party.

The screening fee is non-refundable, even when the result is unclear and there is no dispute process. This creates a situation where consumers must pay for a product that directly impacts housing decisions but cannot be meaningfully explained or challenged.

I am relocating for a new job, and this lack of transparency and resolution is affecting my ability to secure housing.

If you use this platform, be aware that you may be required to pay for a screening product that cannot be explained or disputed, with no clear path to resolution.

Horrible! Their ID verification process does not work at all. They try to make you take an image of ID from embedded in your computer. That just simply doesn’t work. Then when you were trying to do it through the Web service on your phone, you get all sorts of timeouts and other issues. The website looks like it was built in 2003. It has the flavor of an old motel that’s never been updated. Do not use!

I listed my furnished property on Furnished Finder and paid $199 for what they promise is access to a pool of qualified tenants. The result? Zero inquiries. Not one. Not a single message, view notification, or lead over the entire listing period.
But the real problem isn't the dead listing — it's what happened after. I cancelled my subscription and was charged again anyway. That's not a billing error, that's predatory. When a company makes it easy to charge you and nearly impossible to make it stop, you have to call it what it is: a scam.
Furnished Finder's business model seems to depend on landlords paying up front with the hope of results that never materialize, then getting hit again on the back end when cancellation doesn't actually stick. They take your money twice and deliver nothing in between.
To every landlord reading this before signing up: do not do it. There are free and far more effective ways to reach tenants — Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, even just a sign in the window. Don't let Furnished Finder collect $199 (or more) from you for the privilege of being ignored.
I'm disputing the unauthorized charge with my credit card company and encourage anyone else in this situation to do the same.

Subscribed, for $199 but never received code to log on. Not in email nor spam. Online bot “fern” pathetic!

I am genuinely someone that has been looking for a place to stay for an extended period of time on Furnished Finder. My wife is a profresional athelete, and we have been looking to semi-permanently move to another state. Wiht countless intereactions, and even after having to send my wife's contract to a "landlord" we were getting denied or left unresponded to. I am not quite sure the reason, but in several occasional, we got to the same point with the landlord, and they would just stop replying. I particularly want to call out DDG Rentals LLC because I believe they are sketchy, in that they asked for my wife's contract, sent us the lease, we executed the lease, and they never responded after. I feel like we are blessed that things did not work out with Furnished Finder, because it seems like these landlords are a nightmare.

This website is a scam. Buyer beware.
All of the complaints in the reviews here are 100% accurate.
The system does not work effectively and has multiple glitches. The most notable glitch was how they reactivated my rented listing and then auto renewed my membership.
On the day of renewal when I saw the $200 charged to my account, I reached out to them and they very rudely dismissed my request for refund citing the Refund Policy and 365 day policy. They take no accountability for the error in their system.
The majority of leads that I received were also scammers with criminal backgrounds not legitimate leads. I suggest filing complaints in the BBB. Terrible website and service.

Was not accurate with people interested in my area. Had for two months no leads. No refunds. Do not recommend.

If your property rents well above $3,200/month, as mine does, be aware you may receive unqualified leads that do not match your pricing.

Before signing up with Furnished Finder, I specifically contacted them to confirm I would NOT get inquiries from lower-budget renters, since this was a major problem for me when I used the platform several years ago.

At that time, they had a maximum search tier of $3,200+, so anyone in that range would be sent to me as a lead, even though none of them could actually afford my property.

My call was specifically about that issue, and I was given an explanation about improved search options that led me to believe this would no longer be an issue.

It IS still an issue.

Over the past couple of months, I’ve received several “leads,” but every single one has been unqualified. All of them are from people in the highest budget tier ($3,200+), with budgets typically around $3,200–$4,200, which is far below my pricing.

Support later confirmed that their “Housing Requests” system still uses a $3,200+ cap and sends those leads out to anyone who matches. Apparently my property “matches,” and once again I find myself wasting time on every lead they send because of this $3,200 tier cap.

They refused a refund and said the original information about being able to search at higher price ranges was “technically accurate.”

Wow.
