Helpful, and professional advice although we have no recollection of being advised about the delivery charge which we discovered subsequently

Karunaker our sales consultant, looked very smart, was well spoken & most helpful today. He explained everything clearly, was extremely knowledgeable about the all the products we were considering & we felt under no pressure to purchase.

The delivery guys SteveP and Ben A were very good They arrived at the allotted time. They were polite and respectful of our property and worked quickly and efficiently.

Very disappointed this time with Furniture Village. We have been ordering various times over the past years but this was the worst experience.

Placed an order in mid January 2026. We had 3 attempted deliveries from March (already took 2 months). The first delivery got cancelled short notice, the second, only 1 item turned up out of 5 and the third did not happen.

We spent so much time on calls to Furniture Village to resolve the issue. Part of the issue was that the furniture was being handled by another provider who moved warehouse soon after our order. Updates between Furniture Village and their carrier One Call were not aligned at all.

At one point we cancelled everything but decided we really wanted the actual items as we had 1 of 5 already and it would cause more complications to return this and find alternatives.

We reordered the remaining 4 items as we could not get a refund without further disruption to our home. The customer care contact had an incorrect phone number and we spent hours on the phone and email to resolve the issues. Our contact throughout the complaint pretty much disappeared and the lack of care, empathy and customer service was missing.

We eventually had the delivery of the final 4 items out of 5 almost end of May; this is 4 months after first order.
Customer care not great. Resolution management terrible - we had to negotiate far too much given the issues we had faced.

Items delivered took far too long and too many issues on the way. Communication and service was extremely poor.

I was met with a lovely polite man called karunaker, I was just looking for a new mattress as mine was old. I have been to furniture village before to purchase products and didn’t get a great experience , but he explained everything so well and showed me what discount was available. I ended up coming home with a new bed aswell. He definitely a good sales person wasn’t pushy and felt he was professional. Would definitely recommend

Karunaker, did an amazing job of explaining the process when I came in earlier with my wife and then now.

He really talked me through the process and explained the pros and cons of the process and made himself accessible if I have any queries whatsoever after.

Tammy, the young lady who looked after us did a great job. We were a bit peeved at having to wait so long for delivery and that you don't pick up the old suites.

Very knowledgeable, put no pressure on me to buy altogether a very pleasant experience.

The service I’ve received this afternoon has been absolutely amazing the staff here are very helpful in fact Tammy in your Chelmsford store has been truly wonderful she’s inciteful & so knowledgeable & for someone who isn’t usually bothered about shopping it’s been an absolute pleasure she’s helped me find the perfect dining room chairs & table & then I ended up buying two 3 seater leather settees so all in all a fab afternoon!!!

Tammy at the Chelmsford store was very knowledgeable and proactive with helping us find the perfect furniture to fit our recently decorated home. The dinning set and sofas made the perfect combo and we are all very pleased with the service!
