The assistant at the Croydon branch (13. 10. 26 ) was very helpful but not overpowering, as some can be. Her name was Salma, and if she couldn't answer a question, she found the answer straight away. A credit to Furniture Village. Although rather expensive, I'm sure my furniture will last a very long time. More than happy .

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SERVICE FROM FURNITURE VILLAGE, PURLEY WAY, CROYDON!

I am absolutely furious and disgusted with the delivery service I have received from Furniture Village on Purley Way, Croydon!

When I purchased my bedroom furniture, I was specifically asked whether I wanted the furniture assembled before delivery or assembled in my home. I clearly told them that I wanted it assembled at my home.

So can someone explain to me WHY the delivery men turned up with the furniture already fully assembled and then dumped it all in my living room?!

My father, who is 85 YEARS OLD, politely asked the delivery men if they could take the bedroom furniture upstairs to the bedroom, WHERE IT BELONGS! Their response was simply NO!

Are you seriously telling me that a company as big as Furniture Village expects an 85-year-old man to carry heavy bedroom furniture upstairs himself?! Absolutely disgraceful!

What makes this even worse is that I was given completely different information when I purchased the furniture. Had I known this was how I would be treated, I would have thought twice before spending my money with them!

Bedroom furniture is supposed to go in the BEDROOM, not be left in the LIVING ROOM! What exactly is the point of asking customers how they want their furniture assembled if you are going to ignore their instructions?

I still have one more delivery team due to come, and I am making myself VERY CLEAR: IF THEY REFUSE TO TAKE MY FURNITURE UPSTAIRS AND PUT IT WHERE IT BELONGS, I WILL BE DEMANDING A FULL REFUND!

I paid for furniture expecting a proper, professional service, not to be left with heavy furniture that my elderly father cannot possibly move.

FURNITURE VILLAGE, PURLEY WAY, CROYDON – YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THIS LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I expect management to take this complaint seriously and sort this situation out immediately.

Extremely disappointed, angry and completely let down. I would NOT recommend this delivery service based on my experience!
