after almost 1 year they have FINALLY got it right.the first sofa and footstool had faults as did the second and third.the forth one was ok.they did offer money off the others,but having paid over £2000 i wanted it right. no offer off compensation for the wait and stess from this situation which would have made my experience a bit more bearable and a recommendable company.delivery lads were friendly quick

Today we purchased the “Dinky” settee in a beautiful deep blue colour from Furniture Village and we wanted to recognise the outstanding service we received from Richard.

Before visiting Furniture Village, we were actually quite certain that we would be purchasing a settee from another retailer. However, the experience we had there felt cold and impersonal, and it seemed as though very little effort was made to even engage with us, let alone help us find the best purchase for our want/needs.

Meeting Richard completely changed our plans.

From the moment we spoke with him, he was friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping us find the best settee for our needs. What stood out most was that he never felt like a salesperson trying to sell us something. Instead, he took the time to understand what would work best for us, answered our questions thoroughly, and offered honest, thoughtful advice throughout the process.

In fact, Richard himself was a significant reason why we chose to purchase from Furniture Village rather than the retailer we had originally intended to buy from. We we're made exceptionally welcome and not rushed into making a decision regarding the type of furniture we required.
Nothing appeared to be too much trouble and we felt that the whole experience had been enjoyable.

I disliked the extortionate price to buy a headboard that cost £288 for one with struts but a ridiculously expensive £650 for one where wood which went to the floor and is largely unseen and has no upholstery on it barring the sides.
I simply cannot understand how it can be even more than double the price it just doesn’t make any sense. Plus for what you are buying even £288 was expensive.
