Steve at the Lincoln branch was brilliant and helped us find a great sofa

May I say firstly say a huge thank you to Lewis at the Lincoln branch,after having the most horrendous experience at DFS Lewis was incredibly knowledgeable of the product we purchased and was a complete gentleman and was very friendly and approachable.Thank you Lewis for everything. Love the product our sofa and at least it wasn't mis sold like DFS did with us the week before on a £4000 sofa, horrendous company and Angelina from the Lincoln branch needs sacking and needs to go to customer service school for beginners,she is in no way a professional nor qualified to interact with customers, Lewis you need to train the guys across the road how to do it perfectly,thank again Lewis. The sales consultant Steve Markham was very friendly, helpful and not at all pushy. A very pleasant experience by me and my wife ordering 2 sofas. There was even tea, coffee and cookies if we wanted them!!

Phil Watts was brilliant, we visited the Lincoln store twice and couldn’t decide from a few table / sofa options and Phil was so patient, answering our questions without any pressure and with a smile on his face. recently purchased a sofa from Furniture Village in Lincoln and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the moment I walked into the store, the staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful without being pushy. They took the time to understand what I was looking for and guided me through the options available.

The quality of the sofa is excellent — it’s comfortable, stylish, and clearly built to last. Delivery was smooth and arrived exactly when promised, with the team being professional and respectful of my home.

Friendly, patient and helpful. No pressure sales.

Ordered a sofa, a chair and a table before January from the store in Lincoln, the delivery of the chair and the table was two weeks later than the time originally told in the store and told the sofa was delayed. Rebooked for delivery today, second time I take a day off to take delivery. Called in the morning saying they are incompetent for the second time and no explanation why this was unable to be delivered again other than its still at the main centre. Useless customer service as told me they can't refund and cancel the order. I will not be visiting this store ever again.

Sales staff at Lincoln pretty good and helpful, although I was initially told I couldn't pay over the phone or by bank transfer, and I had to go into the store at Lincoln to pay (approx 45 miles away). Was later told by someone else I could pay by bank transfer.
Got an email from customer service which I answered twice, and did not get any reply back. Couldn't get through by phone for days, finally was able to arrange a delivery time. Customer service absolutely appalling. The delivery guys were really good, professional and friendly. However, the quality of the furniture is poor, and the fabric has wrinkled badly, even after only sitting on the chair and sofa once.
We will never again shop at Furniture Village. It was a huge hassle, and the quality of the sofa and chair is very poor.
Dreadful, never again.
After responding to my review reply on here, I now have a sofa which is good. The service since my review has been excellent in every way. Furniture Village have taken away the faulty furniture and I chose a different Gplan one in place to the same value. It's all been a complete turnaround. Even customer fulfillment have been really good. The matter has been fully resolved, and I might even shop at Furniture Village again.
