Furniture Village - Peterborough Reviews 

Today I had a brilliant experience at Furniture Village. I was helped by Stephen Allger, who knew the answers to all my questions, even some that I had not asked! As a result, I bought my table and chairs and I look forward to receiving them. Thank you Stephen. Unfortunately, my great experience nearly didn't happen. A visit to the store a month ago was a very different experience. When I sought information, I was told by an unhelpful assistant, twice, that there were leaflets on the table. I felt rather like a stupid child and returned today with some trepidation. But I'm so glad I did.

The man we saw was helpful informative and just a genuinely nice guy.

Great service

i was only going to browse but found some furniture i liked . the assistant came over and was very helpful,knew a lot about the items and i ended up buying a few items of furniture for my livivg room .the prices were good .looking forward to setting it all up .well done furniture village.

We like to browse and make unhurried decisions plus get good customer service. We were welcomed and given guidance- we enjoyed our visit.

Matt Spencer was our Sales Consultant. From the very beginning he listened! Unlike some other retail outlets that only want to sell you something and do not listen to what you actually want.

He was clearly very well versed in the products of Furniture Village, not just what was in store. The customer service he delivered was outstanding. There was certainly no pressure to buy whatsoever, at anytime, which I particularly liked because I vehemently despise pressure selling.

Matt made the whole process of buying a 3-seater sofa, as pleasant an experience can be, when spending such a significant amount of money on one item. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and more importantly, he had a sense of humour; that always helps when building a rapport between customers and staff.

I would definitely recommend Furniture Village for its range of sofas, quality and customer service. A final special mention for Matt, who I would seek out again if I needed to buy more furniture. Thank you for all your help with my purchase.

Very helpful and patient staff.

Hayley was very friendly and helpful but not pushy. We were left alone to look and try different sofas but she was there when we had questions. She knew her products and was very patient as we tried out different combinations and fabrics. Made the whole experience more enjoyable and less stressful than I had feared.
Furniture Village had a large range of styles, fabrics and prices to suit different budgets. Would definitely recommend.

Polite and friendly staff, patience and good customer service

The young lady Khadija was extremely helpful and was very pleasant to talk my issue through with. My issue was taken ownership by Khadija and I was left with confidence that the issue would be resolved. The only problem was the waiting time on the phone with Customer services which lasted nearly hour because of volumes of calls.

We was very please with customer service. Always very helpful and happy to assist. Coffee always goes down well when making decisions.

Spent a couple of hours in furniture village yesterday supported by Hayley thoughout. Purchased a number of things through a split order and multiple delivery addresses. Hayley was attentive, knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough to help. Excellent service

We just had a great experience looking for our new settee at Furniture Village in Peterborough. Firstly, unlike the other shops on the retail park, we were not pounced on as soon as we walked through the door, and were left to browse at our own pace and when we needed it, Matt gave us all the expert advice we needed. He really could not have done more to help us choose the right settee, he explained clearly all the options we had from the colours and fabrics to the styles that were in trend and the types of reclining option. There was no pressure on us to buy anything, just help and even a nice cup of coffee and fresh cookies 🤩 When we finally chose what we wanted, Matt also looked at the best price on offer without us needing to ask, and we were grateful for some discount and even an additional fabric care set. The shop was bright and really well laid out, with some great settee and chair sets on offer, so well done to Furniture Village for making our settee purchase as stress free as possible, as these can sometimes be difficult to choose. Finally one last big thanks again to Matt, you’re a star for helping us make the right choice, and we would highly recommend anyone looking for a new look in their living room to go and visit.

Friendly staff and prepared to listen

The service was great all of the staff were friendly and readily available. We got what we were looking for and left happy.

Fiona at furniture village Peterborough was amazing. No pressure sales but came away with everything I was considering (and had quite particular specifications). She was so personable and honest it really was refreshing. Part of my order has already been delivered (less than a week after ordering). I would really recommend this store and Fiona in particular

So far so good. No pushy sales. We had visited twice over two days. We just wanted to make sure. Received honest advice on expectations of warranty and insurance. Enjoyable buying experience.

Annie introduced herself to us as we looked at the sofas. She wasn't pushy but offered to help us if we needed it. My wife is in a wheelchair so I asked her about sofa beds and she took us to see them.She was very helpful and knowledgeable and helped us choose a sofa bed that suited our needs.We found the experience enjoyable and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The only minus thing was wheelchair access into and out of the store as the doors were not automated,however we managed ok.
