We had a great experience at Furniture…
We had a great experience at Furniture Village Straiton thanks to our sales consultant - Brian Marshall. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for by asking thoughtful questions and showing us a wide variety of options that suited our needs. We really appreciated that he focused on helping us find the right furniture for our home and never made us feel under any pressure. He was always available to answer our questions, offered honest advice, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. Excellent customer service! We would highly recommend Furniture Village Straiton and Brian Marshall.

We delt with Brian while in store…
We delt with Brian while in store looking and planning our update for our home. He was able to answer every question and explained the options clearly so we understood. We also indulged in the in-house coffee and cookies. We have had items from this company before the local store and now to be able to go in feel and touch what you are buying is a game changer. After confirming that our chosen item would 100% fit (also a over sight until brian advised to triple check)
We returned to the store and placed our order. There's no stress in this store to rush you to buy.
if you want answers to questions ask any of the helpful team , if you are happy floating about and testing out and just running ideas in your head they will leave you too it 5 ⭐

Courteous and helpful.
Courteous, knowledgeable and not pushy giving the customer plenty time on their own to experience the bed, but available for questions.

Customer service terrible
Customer service in store was good. Ordered 6 dining chairs. Arrived 5 weeks later, which were on time. Delivery guys built chairs. We didn't use the chairs for a few weeks and when we did, a family member sat on one and it collapsed. They were lucky they had someone next to them to support them. Sent email to Customer services. They took a week to come back. I had to send a video of chair. We did. It took someone a week to call me and they said they would look into it. Heard nothing for 3 weeks. I called was kept waiting for 25 mins. Guy said he would order new legs but told him a screw was actually stuck in base of chair. He was adamant it would fix problem. This was taking another 2 weeks. I put my husband on call and got cut off and guy called back and said we were lucky he was doing us a favour as in his department they wouldn't normally call back so we should be grateful. My husband said i dont think you should be saying that as that isnt good customer service. Terrible Terrible customer service. Issue not resolved yet so by time of contact till supposedly getting fixed it will be 8 weeks and they find that acceptable. Will never buy from this company again.

I bought a Tempur pro plus soft at lonhead furniture village
I bought a Tempur pro plus soft mattress , When it arrived I did not get that new bed feeling I wouldn't be surprised if it had already been in multiple homes during 60 night trial periods . Besides that the bed was absolutely terrible we had to endure it for 40 nights before being able to return it worse bed I've ever Owned and I've never had a mattress over £200 . So Initially the manager at lonhead Edinburgh shop told us we had to keep it for 60 nights which was false , so we went in to the store after 40 nights and he tried to take 25% off my refund amount ! Over £400 . I phoned customer care whilst I was in front of him then passed him the phone for customer care to tell him he was wrong , then he got off the phone and told me he would do a credit note for the store ! Despite customer care just telling me I could get a full refund !
So in short the manager at lonhead FV is a slimeball that will try and take your hard earned money , also if I had left it 60 days i would have probably been in a position where I would have had to keep it!
Anyway customer care sorted the collection and full refund thankfully . So beware of this branch and this slimeball manger

Highly recommend Furniture Village at Straiton
I cannot recommend Furniture Village at Straiton Retail Park enough. They have a fantastic range of unique, high‑quality furniture. We purchased a beautiful table and four chairs last Sunday, and while we were there we spotted a stunning suite of couches. We weren’t planning to buy a suite at that stage, but we were so impressed by the quality, presentation, and excellent prices that it became an easy decision to return this week and purchase a two and three‑seater, along with two rugs and a picture. We’re super excited for everything to arrive — it will look beautiful in our home. The customer service we received from Salesman
Brian Marshall was exceptional from our first visit to our last.
Brian is welcoming, knowledgeable, and answered every question we had. He also recommended care packages for our lovely new furniture. He is friendly without the usual sales talk I’ve experienced in other stores, and he made us feel comfortable throughout our purchases. Brian is a credit to your company, and we felt in very safe hands.

Abysmal service from furniture village
Abysmal service from furniture village, came to deliver my dining table and chairs, dropped the marble table top and broke it, was told customer service will be in touch to arrange a replacement table. No call at all sitting here with 6 dining chairs and no replacement table. Eventually had to call myself to be told they can’t replace the table for a alternative table as they didn’t have this one in stock any longer, I expected something similar but got told I had to pay a massive difference or they will collect my chairs and refund me. Steven at the after sales team was the most unhelpful person I have ever spoken to in retail! No compensation offered or discount towards a replacement. Will never shop with this shambles of a company again.

Absolutely no pressure from staff, which, for me, is so important - Hayleigh served me when I was ready, and she was knowledgeable about the stock, very helpful and so pleasant. Good range of furniture to choose from. A very good experience.
