Aventa

Bought the Aventa: took roughly 2 months to arrive, and arrived damaged (probably by UPS) - the box was ripped open from the top and beaten up - the UPS delivery person said the bike was just eager to get out and be ridden! Wasn't amused lol.

Got in touch with customer support via email with Emmanuelle, who was extremely professional and shipped out replacement parts promptly.

The bike itself rides great - smooth and easy to handle - very nimble around my busy city streets. Easy to assemble too. A true joy to ride.

My only grievances are that you cannot raise the handlebars, and that the power bar for the battery can be slightly hard to interpret - would prefer a simple numeric percentage to show remaining power.

All in all, very happy with FuroSystems and my purchase, and slightly let down by UPS.

9/10.

Excellent machine!

Delivery took a long time and when the bike arrived it had been damaged in transit. I appreciate that this was the delivery company's fault and Furo Systems are doing all they can to rectify the issue. The bike is an excellent machine! I haven't used it much yet but look forward to returning to cycling at an age when I thought I would never ride a bike again. High quality machine, well finished and comfortable to ride. Easy to assemble on arrival.

Fuze EScooter experience

I ordered a Fuze EScooter and found it was not to my liking, the product itself is fine however there is an issue with stability, and did not feel safe to ride (as im tall and the higher the handlebars the less stable it is), Also the performance was a let down as it offered similar performance as the rental "voi" scooters in terms of uphill speed. Then the were issues with the returns process, while they offered to schedule a UPS pickup of the scooter (after I had to ask for more information as they initially just provided me with an address with no further instruction), it magically didn't get picked up for two days in a row,

Furosystems called me and explained that it was an issue with UPS, but then took ages to process the refund, got the money back but it’s clear their customer service experience & escooters need some work

Totally worth it!

I received the Aventa after a while. Once i got the box I immediately began assembling the bike, the instructions were a little difficult to discern, however FuroSystems had some excellent video tutorials on youtube showing the assembly process step by step. Huge relief

Once i got riding though, the experience was immensely satisfying, you just take off once you start peddling. I guess the biggest benefit for me is the convenience of an e-bike in central london, you get that peddle effort you need and get to work without needing a shower. It also looks quite cool, love it when friends point it out.

Beyond reasonable delays

I ordered my bike on the 26th of February. I am still waiting for delivery. I have been given a tracking system, which seems to have been stuck at 'Manufacturing and QC' since I started checking it in March, in a hope that it would move forward.
Despite repeated emails on update, the 'delivery' time period kept getting pushed back from March to April and now to 'late May'. It is still in 'Manufacturing'. Given the price of the bike, I am extremely disappointed. I am sure it will be a great support for me once it arrives, but this delay has now gone beyond reasonable. The payment should have been taken on delivery and not on ordering. This three months delay is unacceptable, and I do not think that Brexit can be used as an excuse any more.

Much happier now.

Bike shipped with a damaged shifter. LBS confirmed it needs replaced. To be fair Furo are sending a replacement part, and LBS will fit at Furo's expense. ==Update=== All good now and managed my first proper ride. Coming from fast road bikes it feels like it weighs a ton! However, the motor is like a hefty shove in the back going up hills. On the flat its easy enough to maintain a speed in excess of the assisted 15.5mph, saving battery for the hills. I'm a big unit so it remains to be seen what sort of range I can get. For now though, quietly impressed after the initial teething problems.

The Aventa Max is truly an exceptional…

The Aventa Max is truly an exceptional electric bike. It glides along with a little effort from yourself.
Yes you do pedal, the pedal assist is absolutely top notch.
The bike itself is well designed and geared up for the road ahead.
The Furosystems teamare extremely helpful every step of the way. A special praise for Jessy who has been magnificent.
Nothing is too much trouble.
My Aventa Max will be my friend
Get one they are absolutely terrific to ride.
My first journey I didn’t want to go back home.

Amazing scooter! Brilliant customer service!!!

When my Fuze scooter arrived, I couldn’t get it started and I wrote a bad review on here. Even though the scooter didn’t come with instructions, I could’ve delved a bit deeper online to come up with a solution. So have retracted that bad review! Called up Furo Systems to apologise and to get some help with sorting out all the speed settings etc... Manzi (customer service agent) was a massive help in sending me emails with links to videos that show me all I need to know. These emails I received within 5-10 minutes. So all in all am a very happy customer! The scooter is amazing and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to buy a new e scooter 👍👌

Dream Machine!

A superb product, very good service at the point of ordering and with all dealings up to delivery. Have not needed any further assistance after receipt of the bike as the assembly instructions were so comprehensive and easy to follow. Hardly any effort to put together and rides like a dream!

Have recently bought the e-scooter.

Have recently bought the e-scooter.
Placed order on a wednesday and it was delivered thursday morning! Was not expecting that all.
Thought i had a issue with the scooter but after ringing technical support everything was fine.
So far so good cant fault the company. Scooter feels sturdy but early days yet so will update in the near future

The Furo X Max does not do the mileage…

The Furo X Max does not do the mileage claimed. I have now covered 2500 miles but not reached 20 miles fully charged. This is on 3 out of 5 setting. I like the hydraulic brakes, the foldability, the weight, the tyres and the lights and indicators but the higher power battery let's it down. I have owned the bike less than a year

This could be due to the following issue:
- Do your rides include any pedalling power or are they fully battery powered?
- Are your journeys on hilly terrains or flat?
- Low temperatures negatively impact battery capacity by as much as 30%.
- Has your battery been kept discharged for a long time?
- Does this number represent a ride from a full charge to a full discharge? (There is still a lot of energy available at or below 2/5 energy bars.
- Has performance gone down over time?

Continued delays

I ordered the bike in mid-March and it was going to form an essential part of a commute for a new job. After a few weeks I had heard nothing and sent a chaser email. They came back to me saying there were delays and my bike was expected in mid-April. Annoying, but I could live with it.

Mid-April came and no bike. I sent a chaser and was told the delays were continuing and it was now due at the end of April. Very frustrating.

End of April has come and still no bike. I sent a chaser and have now been told it is due at the end of May.

No doubt at the end of May I'll be told it's due in mid summer, and in the meantime I have no bike for my commute and will have to spend money on taxis.

Hugely disappointing that these delays were not flagged earlier and that I have had to chase up the company for news. Not once have they called or emailed me, unbidden.

Now, I feel that however good the bike may turn out to be (if I ever get it), my abiding impression will be huge frustration at the continued delays and lack of communication.

Very disappointed by so many delays and long wait time

I have read several of the reviews in the past 24 hours and share the frustrations and annoyance at delay after delay in receiving delivery of my ordered Furo Max X. Someone said it was 48 days they’d waited, well I ordered my bike on 12th February and last week delivery was again delayed until the end of May! So far I’ve waited over 70 days. What I find utterly incomprehensible is how a bike can be due for delivery by the end of April and then a few days later the delivery has been delayed by a further month+...I still don’t understand how this can be due to components as my bike was less than 2 weeks from delivery (I.e. last week) when this further delay of 5 more weeks suddenly appeared...and then you don’t know if you can trust that new date to stay the same...it isn’t a good way to treat customers at all...and, as stated by another customer recently, no matter how brilliant my bike is when it arrives, eventually, the whole process has become extremely stressful and difficult...I will review the bike when I eventually get mine, living in hope, but for now, this is my dreadful experience of all this waiting and up and down hopes which are regularly being dashed!

58 Days still waiting..

I ordered my Furo Aventa 58 days ago and I am still waiting. I was advised it would have been here by now but that date changed and I have also now requested twice for an update on a real ETA. I was not advised at any point that this would take so long but had some reservations when reading other reviews and put that down to Brexit and Covid.. But now find it hard to believe that now at this stage in 2021 these issues would delay shipping. I would have just appreciated some response from Furo with at least some more precise detail on shipment but that is not available to me from them. I know if I had my time again I would have now chosen a more reliable manufacturer on delivery dates. I'm sure the bike is great but this is poor service. Shame really.. Maybe when I do receive it I will enjoy the product but I certainly would not recommend the product to others due to this experience to date.

** Update on Delivery**

I was informed it would be from the 7th May.. I have now been informed

"Your Aventa has now cleared customs and it due to arrive at our warehouse by Monday 10th May. We will then have the labels prepared for dispatch and tracking numbers send out via email by Friday 14th May. These tracking numbers will also display your delivery dates once UPS have your Aventa

So if you are still waiting!"

It now seems we will not receive the goods until at least late May.. (Maybe?)

The boat carrying your Aventa was expected on the 20th of April it has now been delayed to the 30th of April due to the queues at customs that are a consequence of Brexit.
Delays with respect to Brexit and the COVID-19 crisis, which is still ongoing in most of the world, causing borders to be locked and countries to be confined is expected to have an impact well into 2022. We are doing our hardest to anticipate and absorb these for our customers but in some cases, an extra week or 2 can be added due to boats simply not being able to unload.
Our trucks and warehouse are ready to dispatch your Aventa within a few working days as soon as your ebike is released by the port and customs.
We fully understand your frustration and would like to apologise again and thank you for your trust and order anyways!
We are confident you will love your bike but as you mention this is not an excuse for delivery delays.

It's disappointing to write a negative…

It's disappointing to write a negative review when I haven't even received the goods, but that's where we are I guess. I may be very happy with the bike when it arrives but I'm presently left feeling more than a little deceived at the lack of transparency, honesty and communications.

I ordered a Furo X Max on 16th April after reading and watching multiple reviews. On the order page at that time it clearly stated end of April for delivery as that was when ships would arrive to the UK. Post ordering the order tracking page also continued to say that it would be end April.

I had read the TrustPilot reviews before ordering and did note the earlier delays when Brexit/shipping issues were clearly present. However though there may still be shipping delays I can't avoid feeling like the information given at ordering time was completely false at the time. I'm really not sure how somehow 'End April' delivery was the position when I placed the order and then suddenly a week later this delay to end-May somehow suddenly surfaced.

Maybe when I get the bike this will be forgotten about but right now I feel like any messaging on expected delivery times may be incorrect. From placing my order with expected April date there was no direct communication to me of the changed date - it was only through the order tracking page / making a new order page that this could be seen.

If this was an overseas company for a £30 item I might feel less annoyed, but for a UK based company and for £2000 I do feel aggrieved and would caution others expectations when placing an order based on the displayed estimates.
