What an amazing company

What an amazing company. We are in the process of moving home and our buyer had asked for a check on our boiler. We are due to move before Christmas and needed completing asap. They managed to fit us in during an extremely busy period and carry out all work with little fuss and great professionalism.
Big thanks to Kyle , Erin and Jack.
G&K heating are a great example of a local business providing an excellent service and I highly recommend to use them for any future works

Boiler service

Boiler service - Kyle from G&K was super helpful and professional, got everything reliably sorted and even helped out with a few extra bits (thermostat location, slow radiator). Super friendly person as well - highly recommended.

Excellent service

Excellent service. Boiler serviced and filter checked on the day. I was contacted 10 mins away to confirm arrival. Also, whilst here, priced up for replacement sink and bath taps and a new TVR which was not working. Returned the next day to replace said taps and TVR. Fair prices. Friendly, and cleared up afterwards. Would highly recommend

Joe came to fit a new part

Joe came to fit a new part. However there was a blockage which he cleared. Joe also fitted a new sink trap and repaired the damaged mastic. I an scoring this man 15 out of 10. And he did all this work with a smile.
A great fella.

Amazing!!!

All aspects of heating and plumbing covered. Martin & his colleague at G and K Heating did a brilliant job and fitted a new boiler in a day. They also fitted a new pump and fixed an old leak we had. I wish I called them earlier. No fuss no mess. Very trustworthy and efficient in our home and they cover Crawley to Brighton and further afield. Ours was a complex job which and they were brilliant!! Very professional, very reasonable in all respects, highly recommend them to everybody!!!

excellent and exceeded expectations

Had Kyle and Martin start the first fix (underfloor heating, bathroom and kitchen plumbing and heating) at my new build and they were great. Not only did they do a great job, they were on time, knowledgable and efficient. Have already recommended to several family and friends

Highly recommend this company

Highly recommend this company, Loved the service, professional work and diagnosis. Great people to deal with for a great price. Quotes up front so no surprises. Actually came to less in the end. What more could you ask for.

Excellent service!

Our pilot light was off on our boiler and we woke up to no heating. G&K were out straight away and diagnosed the problem straight away. Our fan was broken in hot boiler and they were able to fix it within one hour.
Their customer service was brilliant, would 100% recommend!

Great service and extremely happy with…

Great service and extremely happy with my boiler installation. They were also by far the most approachable and respectful out of the companies who provided me with an estimate. Highly recommended and would definitely use again.

Stick to using them for Gas Safe work anything else, think again

Stick to using them for Gas Safe work, or if you use them for more in depth work, choose/source your own products and materials.

As a landlord, I used them periodically for Gas Safe work with no problems.

I made the mistake of using them to replace a walk-in shower cubicle in the en-suite bathroom of a rental I own. I discussed my requirements with Kyle, of building a wooden plinth for the shower tray to sit on.

The decorator working on-site at the same time this shower replacement was planned for, advised that no one from G&K had attended the job for a month whilst he was decorating therefore, this job was very behind.

I went down to Brighton (from London) to check on the progress and and was disappointed to find the cheapest materials being used with the shower tray sitting on 4x feet that unscrew to meet the floor. No wooden plinth. Immediately I'm thinking that the silicone seal will last minutes.

I queried this with the outsourced contractor on site and his reply was that these feet are standard. It wasn't 'standard' with the contractor I used at my own home for a bathroom replacement and even if this is 'standard' for G & K, it's not what I asked for.

This shower replacement cost £3,500, not a few hundred quid.

After the job was finally finished, I had two failed attempts to sell the property and then lockdown so the property was empty and vacant since the work was completed.

The first tenant finally moved in after lockdown, deciding not to sell and after using the shower for 1x week after moving in, the tenant complained that the drain was blocked.

I called G&K back to check this out and they found hair blocking the trap and charged me another £60 for the call out.

I ignored the invoice and they chased me for payment, which I paid as I operate professionally as a landlord (unlike some) however, I'll vote with my feet and never use this organisation again.

How can a shower trap feasibly get blocked after being used for just one week?

If you expect cheap B&Q/Homebase type products and be charged top $, then fill your boots.

Its a shame you feel this way about our services as we pride ourselves on providing customer satisfaction and being transparent.
We had not heard from you in regards to issues with the original works we carried out which also included other works (multiple basin taps, toilet seats, boiler and system service and new radiator valve). All our materials are sourced from our local merchants, not B&Q or Homebase and we have not received any complaints of the materials used before. We have checked the original estimate which you agreed to and there is no mention of us specifying we would build a wooden base. Shower tray legs are used in the industry and come with shower trays. We have had no complaints of the silicon seal from you.
We returned to your property, which was tenanted and our engineer advised was blocked with hair. Had it of been faulty workmanship or parts, it would have been covered for 12 months. The shower trap waste we installed is a standard waste, we have used on multiple jobs with no complaints.
The shower works were completed 15 months prior to this, not one week. No faulty workmanship or cheap parts caused the issue, it was the hair caught in the shower waste trap.
