Goods never arrived and no response to my email asking why.

I ordered a garden clock from Garden Best Buys but as I was going away for a few days, I emailed them to ask that they delay delivery for a week. I had previously received the same clock from Argos, who had packaged it so inadequately that the clock hands were bent at a right-angle when it arrived, so I asked Garden Best Buys to ensure that there was sufficient packaging to ensure safe transit. I received a confirmation email and the clock arrived a week later, packaged extremely well and is now in pride of place on my conservatory wall. Although the communication was a bit anonymous (no name given when signing off on the email), they did as I asked and I'm very happy with the service I received.

Unfortunately the item ordered never arrived. The company decided that the plants advertised were afterwards deemed not up to standard. They should not be offering the plants in the first place. The company and the website should wake up if they want to survive in this challenging business.
Extremely disappointed.

Was searching for a bird feeder and came across this deluxe one at a very reasonable price, delivery was superb, would defiantly recommend!

Ordered Sunday night, arrived Wednesday, well wrapped so no damage.
Product totally fit for purpose, would definitely use this site again.

Ordered item, was in stock. Did not arrive in the 3-5 day window so phoned up only to be told that it hadn't arrived on their delivery (so much for being in stock), and wouldn't be available for nearly a week. They didn't bother letting me know any of this until I had phoned, so I cancelled the order. Only plus point is I got a refund immediately.

The only reason I'm reviewing is to separate good retailers from the bad, of which I've experienced a lot recently. In my opinion Garden Best Buys is good value for money. I already knew what I wanted (a Bempton bird table), I trawled the net, GBB was the best price, postage reasonable for what it was, packaged adequately, delivered within in the specified time. Job done. No fuss, no frills. The real test is when something goes wrong and how they handle it.

It's everything it said it would be.

The product was well priced and was easy to order.
No advise on delivery date except standard 5 day terms when searching under Delivery heading.
Chased delivery to be advised out of stock.
Was assured would be in next day and would go on next day delivery which did occur.
Overall not bad but with an improvement in communication could be very good.

I bought some Gardman solar spotlights from Garden Best Buys and enjoyed speedy service, friendly and helpful staff and a good product.

Web page easy to find, use and order from. Great prices and delivery was within a few days. I would order again and recommend this company.

Ordered on 13 July and we received this e mail asking about our opinion before receiving the goods.

Very pleased with service and delivery. Water feature was as described online. However, instructions were vague but we managed to set up the fountain quickly. Very long cable supplied making installation that much easier.

I ordered some prouducts from garden best buys, after 2 weeks I emailed to ask when the products would be despatched, I had an email informing me it had been sent via royal mail and that they had been experiencing a few difficulties of items being delivered by royal mail, they said to let them know if nothing arrived by the coming weekend, I emailed that Sunday to say that they hadn't arrived, I then had to email mid week as I hadn't heard back from them. I then received an email to say it had been dispatched 2 days after originally ordering with dpd and left in an out house, I then again email to say no out house at front of property and no access to rear without key, and no dpd calling card to say it was delivered, they said they would have there dispatch team look into it.... in the end I had to phone them, and was told best thing to do as it had been over a month since I ordered, was to be refunded. Terrible customer service all round.

Still waiting for the goods to arrive. No communication from them at all, had to call to find out what's happening and we are still waiting!

We purchased an arbor direct from Garden Best Buys and saved £60 on the price offered at our local garden centre. It arrived within the timescale quoted and the whole transaction was smooth. My only suggestion for improvement would be to offer a definite day for delivery. Our delivery arrived a day earlier than advised and was left in the garden despite there being no-one home to check and accept the delivery. This could have been a problem if the arbor was damaged in transit. However, it arrived in perfect condition and we're enjoying it a day earlier than anticipated, so overall I'm delighted! I would recommend Garden Best Buys wholeheartedly.

when I ordered this artificial orchid imust admit ididnt expect such a top rate product. really good value for something so real to look at some of my friends have commented on my orchid growing skills. yes I do grow them in an amateur way and I really enjoy the astonishment when isay this one is not real .excellent .thank you

I ordered a metal clock to go outside on garden wall. Delivery was swift. Ordering was easy. Price was very competitive. Very satisfied with service- and clock!

A bit miffed that only after I emailed them to find out where the heater was and confirm delivery that they replied with a full refund and to tell me it was out of stock! Why could they not have told me when I placed the order? Now ordered from elsewhere which have stock...... Won't be using them again then!
How long would I have waited had I not instigated my concern?
