For anyone considering studying the Post Graduate Diploma in Garden Design
For anyone considering studying the post graduate diploma online I would highly recommend it. The online platform is user friendly and there are lots of video tutorials and documents in there to help you, including examples of assignments to help you on your way.
There is a discussion board were you can join in conversations with other students and you can also contact your tutor if you need help.
Submitting your assignments is also easy and feedback from your tutor is well laid out and valuable reading.
I am enjoying this course and only regret is not starting it earlier :-)

Postgraduate diploma in garden design
I‘m studying the Postgraduate diploma, and it’s been a fantastic course so far. The content, learning and assignments have really built my knowledge of garden design and empowered me to do this as a career. I took the online learning option which is great because I can do it at my own speed around family life. The tutors are supportive and always on hand if you have any questions. Would highly recommend!

A good course to become a Garden Designer
The content of the course is well thought through and the Tutors give good feedback and are supportive. I think it does cover things needed to become a self employed garden designer, though without the support of my husband (Landscaper) I would have found it harder as I didn't pay the extra for the additional tutorials. I feel the materials need updating to be more reflective of modern learning styles with more podcasts, videos an interactive sessions rather than lots of online reading material.

Great place to study, very helpful team.
Highly helpful school, I have been contacting them regarding changing course plan during one already going, there was no problem in sorting things out for me and with financial benefit to my side even. No extra hidden charges, very responsive.
Tutor Ines who is my guide there, is very knowledgeable and keen to help. I could not ask for more.

The feedback I received after completion of first assignment
The feedback I received after completing my first assignment was detailed and very useful. A lot of effort went into constructive criticism and advice for moving forward. The marking was very thorough, and I felt as if I was being taken seriously. It made me feel like working even harder for my next assignment. Thank you to my tutor for the encouragement.

I have really enjoyed doing this…
I have really enjoyed doing this course. I have learnt so much and had to push myself in response to the excellent feedback give by my tutor. It has taken me a long time for a variety of reason and I almost gave up. I've now achieved a distinction, so I'm glad I kept going.

Works well for 'mid-career' changers like me
As a 'mid-career changer', it was necessary for me to study with flexibility that would allow me to fit in my other responsibilities. I have found being able to pace the work to my other commitments very helpful and much more 'do-able' than a traditional classroom setting. I thoroughly enjoy learning design theory and practice and studying remotely has meant I am able to peruse what I enjoy, in a way that works for my life.

User friendly and good support
Layout of the site is very user friendly.
Online discussions, library, sharing of experiences, knowledge and past course materials are all very useful.
Regular feedbacks from the tutors help improve the learning experience further.
The reason why I did not give 5 stars is that when the same question(s) asked by students, the response from the tutors sometimes is"I will reach out to you via email" and this is repeated for all the other students wanting to know the same thing. If students are saying "I'd like to know too"; it's obvious more support needed on the topic and the answer should be shared with the wider group.

I find the course to be well organised and thorough. The lecturers and tutors are friendly and generous with their knowledge. Days in the classroom are always inspiring and its great to meet up with fellow students. Feedback on assignments is detailed and very helpful.

Great Experience
I've really enjoyed learning via the British Academy of Garden Design. It was easy to book with lots of options for classes either online or in person (I went with in-person). Classes were interesting and the assignments push you to further your understanding of design and plants. Highly recommend!

I found the course stretched my skills and understanding, allowing me to develop at my own pace. My tutor gave me detailed feedback and was swift in getting back to me with advice when I needed it. When studying online, a quick response is very valuable.

Highly recommended
I'm nearly half way through the Post-Graduate Certificate in Garden Design and I can definitely recommend it. I am studying the course online which works very well for me as it is so flexible. The course assignments are interesting, I am learning lots and increasing in confidence. Tutor response times are quick and assignments are marked in good time.
