Beautiful experience which made me and is still making me grow both personally and professionally.
It allowed me to continue studying my passion for gardening, learning many design skills which allow me to develop a beautiful garden design.
My tutors are always professional, available and ready to give me the assignment's feedback on time.

I'm learning a lot on the Garden Design Diploma, it's challenging and interesting. I'm studying at home, but I don't feel isolated as there are forums and study resources on line and the staff and Tutors are helpful and supportive.

Its great to have such freedom on time management, so that I could fit this into a pretty busy schedule and manage my personal struggles with learning a new area that challenged me. Resources are helpful and readily accessible.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time studying with The British Academy of Garden Design.
We covered so many aspects of garden design including plant sciences, propagation, building business models and interpreting a brief from a client and designing their garden from start to finish including technical drawings, moodboards, selecting all materials and elevation illustrations.
It has been brilliant to not only do something super creative but also refresh my skills in essay writing and general presentation. It really does prepare you for a future in garden design!
The course is flexible which worked perfectly for me as I work full time and travel a lot for work so my routine varies.
The tutors take the time to give really thorough feedback on each assignment which is critical for moving forward and improving!
I had a blast and I’m very proud to have developed a new skill, Thankyou!

Finally completed the Post-Grad. Diploma. Despite starting in 2018, life (unfortunately) got in the way so only just finished. It's worth knowing that you are able to extend the course beyond the 3 years if required (with a small fee). Garden Design is a huge contrast from my current career, but that's what made it so rewarding, being able to apply skills you've gained in other walks of life to something completely new. Gardening/design has always been an enthusiastic hobby, but I was looking to either expand my knowledge or at best turn a passion into a career. I now feel I have the tools to achieve this. The part that I enjoyed the most was the satisfaction of seeing a design that I had created based on a specific brief and the progress I made through the course. I was also very impressed with the detailed feedback and guidance provided by the tutors. If you like solving problems and have an appreciation for beautiful gardens then this is the course for you.

I'm really enjoying my online course and the tutors are helpful and reply to emails/questions on the forum quickly. There's example assignments/tasks I can look at online which has been posted by the tutors and this helps me know if I'm on track with my own assignments or not. The feedback I get is really thorough and I do feel really supported in what I'm doing. I'm enjoying the content of the course and enjoy completing assignments.

Tutors always available to answer questions, great cours, I learnt about every aspect of garden design, from history to microbiology.

Due to unforeseen circumstances I have found my course taking me longer to complete than expected, but the college tutors and administration team have been helpful throughout and I feel very lucky to be supported by such professionals. Any correspondence by email is always quick and efficient ... thank you to the whole team.

I've loved getting to learn more about garden design and improve my knowledge and skillset. It's been so fun being able to watch improvement and progress in my work, and The British Academy Of Garden Design have been an invaluable resource and help! The structure of the course has enabled me to study whilst juggling work and family life and has suited my study style really well. I've been able to instantly apply the skills I'm learning in my family's landscaping business, and clients are immediately appreciative of my constant growth in this area.

The staff at the British Academy of Garden Design are amazing. Every question is answered promptly and are helpful.
There is plenty of help and reading material on their website to get you through the course. It all seem very well organised.

It's better than I expected, a lot to learn, well organized and interesting.

It keeps you motivated

I'm happy with the online course contents and assignments so far, learning step-by-step diverse topics including plants, materials, design tips, drawing techniques, etc. The tutor and student support are easily reachable, which makes things easier for new garden design learners like me. The student forum is also useful to learn from other students. Only the downside is that digital drawing is not a part of the contents so you need to find resources yourself.

The coursework structure builds your knowledge with each assignment, allowing skills to develop.
Tutors are helpful and provide detailed feedback, signposting you to course material where needed.
The course was really interesting, and thorough. I found it easy to follow as self led, distance learning.

A people focused learning experience with excellent tutors and help is always on hand. I had a hard time learning at a younger age suffering from Dyslexia, Trust me, it’s a challenging course as there is a lot to think about and do and when you’re more creatively minded over academic that can be a lot to have to work through, but I would say the help that’s provided along with the constant improvements made to provide great examples and a well structured forum / library in the online portal has given me such a boast and belief in my capability! No matter how challenging you find academic work or learning a new subject. This course has the capability to help and inspire you to future goals and aspirations, I’m really enjoying it and would highly recommend to anyone no matter what level, learning capability or situation. I’ve really enjoyed my time in the lessons and the coursework is a well balanced mix of essay and creative work. If you’re on the fence and want to change career or your path into garden design, I’d say speak with the support team and find out more / give it a go!

Good information provided and easy opportunities to access these. Excellent access to tutor who came back with speedy responses. Good systems for uploading assignments and good return of these. Sometimes, assignment outcome expectations are not always clear and this can impact negatively on the assignment outcome.

I am enjoying this course so far even though I just submitted my first assignment. The questions were clear and the example and support information provided were very detailed. I am looking forward to more assignments and the experience I will achieve from this course!
