I am very happy and satisfied with my online diploma course with British Academy of Garden Design. The assignments are structured to help you progress and understand the whole design process. The feed back on the assignments are detailed and constructive. Even the tutors are very helpful in answering all the queries very promptly.
I especially enjoy my online classes that gives me an opportunity to study and engage, from another another country. I find the teacher's practical knowledge very useful along with the course material itself. It seems like being part a helpful community where we can grow and learn from each other.

I have found the course very enjoyable. The tutors are very helpful, and give you plenty of details and support. The resources on the learning centre are very good, and the examples have really helped me to complete my assignmentsz

The course was enjoyable because there was no deadline or pressure to submit assignments - I could do the tasks at my own pace to fit in with my life. The website was easy to navigate and the information on it was helpful. I also found the forum and online chat a useful source of support.

I have generally had a good experience, the online library includes extensive useful information covering science, business and art styles/theory. My only critique is it is not easy to find information, it needs some form of search tool.
Access to student cad is invaluable as it is expensive otherwise.
Tutors are knowledgeable, kind and helpful. My tutor Renata has always responded quickly with helpful information.
I enjoy independently working which is encouraged and praised. Wording of tasks can occasionally but slightly confusing but working that out with tutors has helped with that.
Overall my experience has been positive.

I have found the course so far extremely rewarding and informative. My knowledge of horticulture and the key elements of design have grown with the completion of each assignment. I recently suffered a bereavement, my tutor, along with student services could not have been more supportive.
I would highly recommend the British Academy.

I completed the postgrad diploma course last month and the whole experience was great. The tutors were really helpful and supportive along with the student services team, the content was well balanced and gave a great idea about the basics of garden design up to more advance information, and not just about design, but the science of plants, and some info about the business side as well.
The questions ranged from simple to more in depth, with a reasonable mix of drawing and essay style questions along with a couple of practical tasks to complete.
It would work well with either a CAD design course, which this course doesn't cover, or an existing knowledge of this way of designing. Also the course only touches on the business side of garden design, so if that is an aim to learn about, this course will only teach you about a few of the more essential parts of running a business.
They do however, provide a lot of resources to use about all aspects of garden design which are really helpful and can be downloaded, including about designing on a computer.
I would definitely recommend the course to anyone wanting to be a garden designer, work in gardening, or who has a passion for gardening and wants to learn more about either the design, principles, or science of gardening.

I have just submitted my 5th and final assignment for the certificate course in garden design. I have really enjoyed the course and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, informative and enjoyable course, which can be fitted in around children, work etc.
The tutors are always quick to respond to questions and queries and their feedback on assignments has been detailed, thorough and constructive.
I don't want to be a garden designer, I just love gardening and will be able to apply the principals learned to my own garden. This course was the perfect level and was just what I was looking for. Thank you:)

Really good course which I'm enjoying immensely so far. (I'm half way tgrough) Feedback from the tutors is great and the assignments are really practical and comprehensive.
I've taken the option of the online course which really works for me as you have 3 years to complete the course.
Sometimes finding the resources that you need to complete an assignment, which are all supplied, can be a bit time consuming and the referencing system is a nightmare. (I'm half way through an although my first tutor didn't mention it, the tutor I have now tells me every time that I've got it wrong again!!!!! which is frustrating)
Other than that I would highly recommend this course.

I am currently a third way through the diploma course and really enjoying it. With no previous formal gardening experience I was apprehensive about what the level of expectation would be. The assignments are comprehensive and despite being slightly challenging at times the guidance and constructive feedback are very helpful and the tutors are very responsive. My knowledge has increased and so has my passion.

half way through studying diploma level and so far i am really enjoying the course. Im learning alot and the way the assignments are planned are great for learning step by step. I started this course with no idea on alot of the subjects and was a bit worried but im suprised how fast you can picke things up.
Im studying from home which suits me perfectally working around other things.
The only things stopping it from being five star is sometimes I feel like my communication with my tutors isnts veyr helpful, I feel like I dont always get a clear answer to a question and it takes a few messages to get in information im asking for. Theres also been a bit of inconsistency between tutors, for example on saying my referencing was very good and one saying the same format was wrong.

This is a great post graduate school to learn everything about garden design. An excellent tutor who gives you thorough explanation on every topic needed, a variety of projects that will teach you skills from scratch to becoming a professional garden designer. Well structured learning process with formative feedback after each assignment. Availability to work at your own pace and plenty of time to complete the course.
Wether you want to do it for a diploma or to learn new skills, I truly recommended it.
