AVOID - unsafe vehicles and shocking customer treatment

AVOID - Unsafe vehicle and shocking customer treatment
I purchased a Vauxhall Zafira Tourer for cash from this dealership. Within days of driving it away, the vehicle suffered severe, dangerous electrical and mechanical failures. The high-beam headlights completely failed to operate at night, and the engine developed a violent juddering accompanied by a flashing warning light on the dashboard. The company did initially offer to fix the headlights and we had an appointment booked. However, the day before the car was due to go in, the vehicle suffered a severe engine malfunction with dangerous misfires, making it completely unsafe to drive. When I reached out to the dealership for urgent help regarding this breakdown, they flatly refused to assist and have completely ignored me since. Because the vehicle was rendered entirely undrivable and they refused recovery, the car could not be brought in to be fixed for either issue. An independent garage inspection later uncovered a shocking cover-up. Someone had physically forced completely incorrect spark plugs into the engine and left a severely deteriorated coil pack inside to temporarily mask the misfire. When I rejected the vehicle, management refused to cooperate and verbally claimed they do not have the funds to issue a refund, despite a forecourt packed full of alternative stock for sale. The dealership has now completely blocked my mobile number and is actively ignoring all messages. Deal with this business at your own extreme financial and safety risk.
