Worst service provider

Worst service provider. I used Gcash to load my Globe broadband and did not go through and yet they debited P150 from my account. I contacted them, emailed them, even disputed in the app but to no avail! The P150 was never credited back to my account.

Selfie scanner does not accept my face…

Selfie scanner does not accept my face because i have big beard. Two years ago I had same problem, but then I could talk with a human who assisted. Now when changing phone same problem. Called hotline etc, but there is nobody to talk with. Chatted with gigi AI app, but that is stupid as can be. No help. I have submitted 4 ticket forms during 2 weeks and they promise to send email within 24 hrs, but not one received. Now I just want to be able to access the app and move my money to Maya and close my account, but seems hopeless. That a tech company can have this bad customer service is unbelievable. Shame on you.

Gcash is undoubtedly the worst and most frustrating app I've ever used. The verification process is atrocious with it taking forever to finally getting a facial recognition completed if it ever completes at all. When you look for customer service to help out, good luck cause all you'll get is an inferior AI interface that sucks at getting anything resolved. It repeats the same nonsense for troubleshooting as you've already tried 1000 times. On top of it all, there is always the risk of getting hacked and losing all your funds. This happened to my wife where her entire gcash account was wiped out.

I sent through al Ansari Exchange here at Motor City branch Dubai, UAE for Gcash no. Old no. Of my nephew and he told me that that number is not working anymore. I immediately report to Al Ansari after 30mins and they sent an email to Gcash the same day. But unfortunately they didn't
reply until now it has been almost 2 weeks no response from them. My nephew
told me the Gcash replied to him that no funds on that account. GCASH is a scammer. I was so disappointed that worker like me got scammed on this small
amount of money. DONT TRUST GCASH!!!!!! SCAMMER!!!@

Verification does not work

Company wants verification and I have tried over 20 times. Locked out of my account. Tried everything, but to solve the problem you need to log into your account which I cannot do. They have my money and NO personal contact allowed. Basically they have stolen my money and there is no recourse. The software is AI generated and no personal contact allowed. Rang head office phone number and directed back to the app where I cannot login. Going in circles. Now I cannot pay bills and my water meter has already been removed.

Bad and error services.

What went wrong is that I can’t solve my account that is on hold. I already went to help center, chat with gigi, I went to all possible solutions and still I was not guaranteed with opening my account so that I can verify it. Everytime I asked gigi about the “account on hold”, providing all details that was asked and said “my provided details have no records in the gcash” and I would ask over and over again! I have been trying to open my account that is on hold for how many months and still there are no progress because your help center, message, and email don’t give details about the problem! I was 17 when I tried to put a solution at my account, now I am 18 and not a jr. anymore. YOU HAVE SO MANY THINGS THAT YOU WANT US TO DO TO SOLVE OUT PROBLEMS WITH OUR ACCOUNT AND YET, IT WASN’T SOLVED!! I am beyond dissapointed at your services. Fix this and have a real person to service your clients other than AI business message.

Extremely Disappointed – Refused Refund on Unauthorized Transactions Review:

I am very disappointed with GCash. I reported two unauthorized transactions on my account, yet they refused to refund my money despite providing all necessary details and reporting the issue promptly.

As a user, I expected better protection and support. I trusted GCash with my finances, but their customer service was slow and unhelpful. If unauthorized transactions can happen and GCash won’t take responsibility, how can users feel safe using this app?

Be cautious and think twice before trusting this platform with your money.

I just want to express my experience…

I just want to express my experience with GCash support. Nakakainit ng dugo. I've been going back and forth with them for almost 3 weeks already, and still, lahat ng resolution nila from what they call their “internal team” was totally unacceptable. As in copy-paste lang lahat ng response nila — wala man lang effort na intindihin talaga ‘yung case ko. Nakakapagod, nakakaasar, at sobra sobra na talaga ang frustration ko.

The issue is about an unauthorized transaction made via QR on July 14. The amount stolen from my account was ₱6,024 — hindi man ganun kalaki sa iba, pero pera pa rin ‘yon na pinaghirapan ko. And here’s the thing: wala sa akin ang phone ko during that time. It was turned off, and ako lang may access doon. I also have a backup phone na nakakatanggap ng notifications kapag may gumagalaw sa account ko — pero walang dumating. So clearly, may breach talaga na nangyari.

Right after ko madiscover ang transaction, nag-reach out agad ako sa GCash. I gave them every single detail, explained everything — pero anong ginawa nila? Wala. They just kept replying with the same message:
"Valid po ang transaction" — kahit ilang ulit ko nang sinabi at pinatunayang HINDI ako ‘yung gumawa noon.

And to make things worse, when I tried calling GCash support, binabaan lang ako, at minsan pa nga sinisigawan ako ng agent. Ang lakas ng loob nilang sigawan ang customer na sila pa ang pinabayaan at nawalan ng pera. Ganyan ba talaga ang klase ng customer service na pinagmamalaki ninyo? Every time I ask for a supervisor, they cut the call or tell me walang available. Grabe talaga.

And guess what? I’m not the only one. Habang naghahanap ako ng sagot, nakita ko marami pang ibang biktima ng parehong issue — unauthorized transactions, mostly QR-related, and lahat halos pare-pareho ang ending:
"VALID DAW."
Copy-paste. No real investigation. No accountability.

Nakakatawa diba? Sa GCash natin pinagkakatiwala ang pera natin, pero pag nawala, tayo pa ang pinapalabas na may kasalanan. Anong klaseng sistema ‘yan? Ang bulok. Ang luma. Ang bagal. At ang pinaka-masakit, walang malasakit sa customer.

This isn’t just an inconvenience — this is a violation of my trust. Hindi ito simpleng isyu lang ng refund — this is about how you treat your users when something goes wrong. And clearly, GCash doesn’t care. As long as kumikita kayo, bahala na yung mga taong nawalan ng pera dahil sa butas-butas niyong sistema.

GCash, ayusin niyo ‘to. Hindi kami bobo. Hindi kami basta-basta magpapaloko. I will continue to escalate this, report it to BSP, and speak out publicly hanggang makarating ‘to sa tamang tao. Kung wala kayong pakialam, kami meron — dahil pera namin ‘to.

I’m very disappointed with GCash…

I’m very disappointed with GCash customer service. I’ve been waiting for an update regarding my fund transfer issue, but up until now, there’s been no resolution. I already called 2882 and submitted a support ticket, yet I haven't received any follow-up. The lack of communication and slow response is very frustrating. I hope this gets addressed immediately.

Been using Gcash since 2016

Been using Gcash since 2016, i like the app very much as it evolves and offer lots of features, discounts from mobile loads, paying bills, discounted game vouchers too. Well, as they got so many issues including poor CS, disappearing balance, and breaches.
So i recommends who uses it that don't store huge amount of money on the wallet, use it to avail those features like baying bills, etc. but again, don't store huge amount of money.

SCAM

SCAM. I deposited money after creating an account, and shortly after, they locked my access with no way to withdraw or transfer the funds. Customer support is useless - they keep repeating the same generic responses and offer no real help. Very disappointed and lost money.. Avoid at all costs.
