I have been a customer GCelectronics for over 40 years- long before Oliver took over the helm. It's easy to stay with him as he is personable, helpful, professional and caring.
Just had alarm serviced and old smoke alarm replaced at a very reasonable cost.
He's always at the end of the phone if needed and ready to help.

Oliver fitted an alarm for my son, he was professional and friendly, he arrived on time and did a great job. He even filled in the holes where he had removed the old alarm and left the house clean and tidy.

I first came across GC Electronics back in 2015 after moving into a new property that already had an alarm system installed. In my infinite wisdom, I thought I could get it working myself… cue a very loud and very persistent alarm sounding for what felt like forever. Thankfully, GC Electronics came highly recommended by others in the village, and I quickly understood why.

He arrived promptly, diagnosed the issue (which I had entirely created), and got the system back up and running smoothly. From that moment on, I made sure it was serviced annually, and it never let me down.

Fast forward to my current home, where I’ve continued to use his services without hesitation. He installed a brand-new alarm system that works flawlessly—no hiccups, no fuss, just reliable protection. What sets GC Electronics apart is not just the quality of the product, but the integrity behind the service. He’s always contactable, sticks to his word, and delivers exactly what he promises.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Honest, reliable, and consistently excellent—GC Electronics is a rare find in today’s world. Highly recommended.

I had a problem with my existing alarm system which while it was fixable it wasn't really a viable option. I was provided with a variety of new options which could be installed immediately. This was done with speed and precision. The new system encompasses all the latest bluetooth technology and is so easy to use. We are very pleased with the end result.

Oliver at G C Electronics has been servicing my old alarm system for years, he installed a new alarm and CCTV system for me years ago and services that annually. Oliver is punctual, helpful and completes the work quickly.

Wouldn’t recommend. Equipment installed is good quality, until you have a problem. I found the customer service to be poor and Oliver was quite rude.

Had our alarm serviced today by Oliver, been really happy with service for many years , he has gone above and beyond in the past to help us out when we’ve had problems, also used by family members who are happy with service, reliable and trustworthy companies like this are not easy to come by.

Just had a new alarm fitted after a call out for a faulty old wired alarm. New alarm is brilliant and easy to use. Also fitted a camera doorbell that I had purchased at no extra charge. Punctual and left the house clean and tidy. Like the idea of having alarm and smoke alarms serviced annually.

I had an alarm fitted by G C Electronics, and initially everything seemed fine. However, a year later the alarm stopped working, not due to a fault, but because they had deliberately set it to deactivate unless we paid for a service. What’s worse is that the service must be through them, as they hold the engineer code and refused to provide it when I asked. When I called to discuss this, they abruptly switched the phone to record without warning, which felt incredibly unprofessional.

This setup leaves customers trapped in a cycle of forced payments just to keep their system running. It’s a disappointing and manipulative business model designed to extract more money rather than provide genuine service. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone looking for transparent and customer-friendly support.

Absolute crook and nasty with it.
Oliver fitted alarms at both my mothers and daughters houses. He ties you into a service contract without telling you as he installs an engineer code which he refuses to give you. This means every 12 month you have to pay him (and him only) to service your alarm. When we called him he didn’t care and started recording the conversation because, as he says, he gets this a lot. Avoid at all costs.

Oh, by the way - he then sends aggressive and threatening responses to genuine customer complaints on Trustpilot. Copied and pasted from other customer feedback. Instead of retaliation to what is a consumer tool maybe he needs to address the poor treatment of his customers. If you don’t like the feedback, alter your behaviour and become a more transparent trader. You currently con elderly people into service contracts. Shame on you!!

Providing one star because I am unable to rate this company any lower.

I had an alarm fitted by Oliver at G C Electronics, which worked well, for 1 year before it stopped working. As it transpires, it now does not work because he has set the alarm to stop working unless it is serviced annually by himself.

He will not provide the master code required in order to get the alarm working again or serviced by any other company. This unethical and dishonest man has cornered people into only using his services and despite the alarm being my property, he has complete control over whether it works or not!

Currently seeking legal advice but would strongly advise to steer clear of his services!!

Oliver arrived as promised and was very professional and thorough as he always is. Very neat job which we're very pleased with and we have no problems in recommending him to anyone.
