I did a lot of research online and offline for getting a genuine gemstone. From my experience, I was wary of the quality of gemstones available in the market but all of that changed when I visited GU's website. After going through their inventory, I made a call and spoke to Shariyar who was very patient and helpful in answering all my queries. The best part was that he did not pitch as a salesman wanting to close a quick deal. On the contrary, he only guided me based on my queries and left it entirely on my discretion to decide on my purchase.
I ordered my stone a couple of days later and I am happy that I did so. The package was promptly delivered; neatly packed and with proper documentation. Subsequent to the delivery, I sent GU an email confirming the receipt of my parcel while asking them for an auspicious date and time to wear the gemstone (based on my birth details). The response was very prompt and I got their reply in couple of hours.
I am grateful to GU for providing such exemplary service. I strongly recommend Gemstone Universe to anyone who seriously wants to experience positive gemstone therapy. Please do not rely on unscrupulous vendors of the open market and I say this based on first hand experience.

Great All-Round Experience
I was looking for a reliable Astrologer and Gem Therapist online when I luckily stumbled upon Gemstone Universe. Although there are many similar websites, I got really impressed by the quality of their articles and the reviews that they received. I decided to try out by first purchasing a $15 Gem Analysis Report for myself and my wife. The reports that we received within 8-10 days were in line with our expectations.
We knew we had to act on that report for it to be of any benefit to us. We ordered four gemstones as advised in the report. After a wait of around 15-18 days, our order was delivered. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of packaging and the detailed attention that went into delivering the gemstones and rings/pendants within such a short period of time.
Just a minor issue which I'd like to raise and I'm not sure what could be the reason for the same. Out of the three sterling silver rings and a pendant that we ordered, the pendant completely turned black a few days after wearing while the rings are still in impeccable condition. If I were to believe this is because of moisture/humidity, that should have affected the rings as well. If its because of skin acidity, that should have resulted in the ring turning black as well as both are being worn by the same person.
The website needs to be improved as sometimes it can get really slow and not very pleasant to browse. Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with their services and have already recommended Gemstone Universe to my close friends and relatives. I'd like to thank the entire team of Gemstone Universe and hope that they keep up the good work for many more years to come!

The quality of the stones is the best i have seen.
I found the service very nice, the quality of the stones was superb, I bought iolite and peridot though they are upratnas but they look as if they are not they are so good in quality. The gemstones seem expensive to a novice like me, but I am willing to give the company the benefit of the doubt. It is entirely possible that jyotish quality gemstones are close to as expensive as the rates charged by them.

Gemstones don't work for more than 90% of the people - an extension of the 'Told Ya' trap
Paid for the gemstone consultation in advance. Got it. Bought stuff worth more than Fifty Thousand. Followed 'Guruji' Arnav's instructions to the T. Little did I know that the recommendation would be even lower than the level of a rookie. Looking back now with more knowledge of astrology, its clear the recommendation was of the gems which would bring no to negative results for me. The gems from the company are GOOD, THE SERVICE IS GOOD, BUT the prices aren't exactly low either. It is definitely very possible to get the same quality of gemstone for much less if you even have any elementary kind of connections in the market.
Summing up, gems DO HAVE the capacity to work for everyone - but a thorough analysis of lots of aspects is needed first. Preferably from a person very devoted to the study and knowing their stuff or if you're technical minded like me, learn for yourself. Another important point is that gems worth lacs are not really needed for astrological purpose, no matter how much anyone might want to tell you otherwise. Hope you benefit from this. It seems strange that you have not connected with us for a return or refund. You last communication with us was in year 2014 as per stored mail records when the auspicious timing for wearing the Gemstones was sent.
At Gemstoneuniverse, we have the Goal for 100% error free Gem therapy and if anything is not upto expectations kindly connect with customer care and they will facilitate your refund.
Moving on here are some data points related to your purchase and interactions in chronological order:
1) You ordered Gem Report in May 2014.
2) You ordered you semi precious Gemstones in May 2014. You implemented wearing Gemstones with the semi precious alternatives rather than the main recommendation.
3) Post the above two you availed a complimentary Gem recommendation for your spouse.
4) You ordered a Semi Precious Gemstone for your spouse in June 2014.
You are posting this review after 2 and a half years without connecting with Gemstoneuniverse for any of the issues.
You have an issue with the recommendation itself. Please note that majority of the patrons who order a Gem report have very little exposure to Astrology and we try to keep our recommendation relatively jargon free and easy to understand.
Despite this most of the individuals find the report as Overwhelming or too heavy. We appreciate your efforts and insights after acquiring new found Astrology information but please note it is not possible to explain every single Astrological parameter on which a Gemstone is recommended.
If you just scratch the surface of the Lagna chart there are 9 planets, 12 houses and 12 signs. The number of possible combinations in just 1 chart can be 9*12*12=1296.
As you go into other variables like divisionals, dashas, unique issues faced by various individuals the combinations are myriad.
We follow the ethics of Graha Anukul Paddathi which is clearly mentioned in the report offering. This system has been advocated by the Planetary Gemologists Association of which we are a member since 1999.
We cannot change a establish system that delivers results and based on the knowledge of decades based on some unique insights that you may developed on your chart by your individual study and comprehension.
You also mention in the review that one does not need Gemstones worth Lakhs to be effective. Nowhere in any sacred text is mentioned about Gemstone price and its relation to its effectiveness. Texts such as Garuda Purana and Agni purana only talk about the desired quality and characters of gemstones and the flaws to be avoided.
What is the source of this data or inference, kindly enlighten us.
You also mention that with some elementary connections Gemstones can be sourced at a much lesser price. Where are these elementary connections? bought report and then gemstone as per their report, waited for at least three months before gave this review. I did not saw any good or even small good changes after wearing the gemstone but there are bad changes in term of their product where the silver pendant i purchased together with the gemstone became stained. feel so disappointed and sad.

As far as your issues with silver tarnishing( What you call as Stain) is concerned, pure silver can tarnish for several reasons - oxidizing upon contact with Air, salt, sweat, moisture and high humidity( A phenomena common to your geographical location). This chemical reaction produces patina for silver protection. It happens in a small minority of cases.
