They need to bring back a free game, make it a new format, a single search maybe instead of the daily 5, they need something to entice new users.

For pro users 5 mins every 15mins is just stupid. They need to look at their use data and come up with a better solution. The avg game length can't be that demanding surely and the number of games over the user base not that high on avg. I imagine a lot of people just play the daily game, if I like to take my time with that (more than 5mins) I shouldn't be stuck on the site for 20+mins just to be able to finish it. Maybe a per game model is better than time based.

man i love when i can't even use a game that used to be free because i'm not paying for it. what a great model guys! i'm sure you haven't lost players at all!

The problem is not that us not for free. The problem is I thought I was paying a month by month subscription but payed a full year, 49euros. Not clean or fair. Every year I subscribe for December and summer, on holidays, but never again.

Biggest piece of disappointment. Firstly, my mate ordered thai-food but it got cancelled (HE IS FROM THAILAND BTW). And now this excrement. I am asking you developers, what the heck are three gentlemen supposed to do on an empty stomach except shotting bourbon and playing geoguessr? Precisely... You guys are as useful as the h in pad thai.

Its stupid that geoguessr is no longer free. New players wont be able to play and the game will fall off. Matchmaking will be longer and harder because only the people that pay to play the game are gonna play and they are better.

Why in hell's world is this game no longer free? The mice that infest my bed every night should be in charge because they are not even that stupid to do such a thing, ruining everyone's freedom. Bring back the free version for heaven's sake

I hate how they've hidden even a single mode behind a paywall, like there's the option of some ads, limited maps, etc., but instead they just destroy everyone and lock their game behind a $5/month paywall.

Hands down worst business model ever. Payed for a service and was then unable to play. Borderline scam. Taking EUR 4 from me just like that. Wish I checked before i payed for what was once a free to play game. Its impossible to start game, and i do not get access to what i payed for. Stay FAR away from this business.

It is sad to watch a site where you could once play for five minutes and wait for 10 minutes on a free subscribtion (which honestly was not good either), make it only available to pro members. This is low, even for this subscribtion based world we live in.

You can only play 5 free games a day so if you really want to play this game you would need to have pro mode. But it's understandable that they have to if they want to use Google maps but still. It's not something you're going to get good then you're going to have to buy pro.

Used to be a clean fun game for the family to play, they've ruined it, confusing garbage, played a map and it timed us out, I paid for the upgrade and even after upgrading to pro it wouldn't let me play the games and kept asking me to upgrade.

Steer clear absolute crap.

Why ruin what was a perfectly functional game?
