Trustable car owner

The owner of the car is a trustable person.
He is also customer minded: on the day of our arrival he waited for us although our flight had an 5 hours delay.

I had one of the worst rental…

I had one of the worst rental experiences with Getaround.
From the start, the service was full of unexpected charges and poor communication. Whenever there was an issue, all the blame was pushed onto me as the customer, without proper investigation or fairness.

The worst part was being charged for things I never requested or approved — including a parking fee that I was not informed about at all. This feels more like a setup to take extra money rather than a fair rental service.

Customer support was slow, unhelpful, and mostly repeated the same scripted answers, without truly resolving the issue. In the end, I felt there were no rights for the customer, only excuses to justify taking more money.

I will never use Getaround again and will make sure to warn others about my experience. This was not just disappointing — it was completely unacceptable.

I like your service and way you respons…

I like your service and way you respons online , but I dislike the way you change some of agreement on your online search and I might be New on your plattform and you take the advantage of someone. For example: I found that if you drive extra kilometers than what is agreed you can Charge money the way you or the owner of the car wants. While searching I found that each extra kilometer driven I was suposed to pay 2,70 kroner but it was Changed to 5,40 kroner. Which discouraged me. I wish you if you may maintain what you dicided online.

really bad experience

I rented a car in Norway for 2 days in end of may
We had an issue with the car, we contacted getqround who was really reactive in our issue. We had road service who sent us a mechanic. He told us the car had brake issues and engine issue and that it was a really serious problem who could have resulted to car accident. When we called the roadservice we had been told not to move the car despite us telling them that we had to go refuel it. the mechanics told us not to worry about that, that considering the state of the car we wouldnt have to pay for the 1/3 of the tank we used.
A few days later i had a charge of £56 for fuel missing ! I was shocked considering the refuek for our second car for more than half tank cost us £21 ! I tried to all getaround for days no one was soming back to me or answering. i had to wait a week to have an answer about the issue by email. They then told me that it was in their right to charge us this amount. After looking into the owner reviews (he has lots of cars rentals which we didnt realised when we rented his car) we found 2 reviews for the day before our rental and 2 days before that state there was an issue with the brakes and that the car was making a horrible sound!! Aren't you supposed to check the cars and the reviews before allowing a car to be rented?? How is it possible that someone wrote a review stating her braking issues and saying the car shouldnt be allowed to be rented again, and you still put it to rent??
Im contesting the charge for the fuel but i have been told that i should contest the charge for the whole rental as getaround just broke their promise to make sure the cars are safe to drive.

Be careful when renting with them as it can be really hard to contest anything specially when you are not in the wrong
