Do not use GETMEIN - terrible company

Shocking company - avoid at all cost. I have never dealt with a company that clearly do not care about their customers - this is the worst customer experience ever !!

I would not recommend this company - they are keeping my money from a cancelled and rescheduled event (I can’t make the new dates) and are trying to force me to see through them. Keeping £650 for 15 months is immoral. You should be ashamed !

We’re a ticket resale website, so we provide a platform for people to sell on their tickets. We don’t own any of the tickets sold through our site, because we don't own the tickets we can't cancel an order once it's been placed. Just as we protect you by making sure you get the tickets ordered, we also have to protect your sellers sale.

When all of our agents are busy taking calls, we can either put you in a queue until the next agent is available, or we’ll play a brief message asking you to call back later. Most of the time, you’ll just be put in a queue, but occasionally – if the volume of calls would mean unacceptably long queue times – we’ll ask you to call back later instead.

We know this isn’t always ideal, but we feel it’s important to let you know that we can’t take your call at the moment, rather than keep you hanging on for extended periods of time.

As an alternative to calling, we also have a full team of agents on hand to answer any queries via email.

can you take seriously this…

can you take seriously this Ticketmaster company who sell most of the best seats,for any show they control at premium prices on ticketmaster platinum,have 2 resale ticket resale sites under there banner allowing ticket brokers to sell tickets at inflated prices without any control ignoring the law allowing them to list tickets with minimal information, just a joke use Stubhub at least they have a little bit of customer satisfaction

I am very disgusted and disappointed

I am very disgusted and disappointed. More than 10 days has passed and still awaiting my money. I'm on hold for over 90 minutes and still no response. No email address to contact customer services.

In order to maintain a secure marketplace we don't make payment to sellers until after the event has taken place, payment is usually made within 10 business days but in some cases can be up to 1 month.

Disgraceful

Disgraceful - 12 working days after selling ticket and despite assurances from someone in customer service (details submitted via their so called customer sercice team) i’m yet to receive my payment.

They are a disgrace - on 3 separate occassions i have spent an hour on a call waiting to speak to someone.

Avoid at all costs

Disgraceful service for Wireless - will not be buying from this company again

Order number: 2978487

Having ordered my Wireless tickets in February, it is now 2 days before the event and my tickets STILL haven't arrived.

There has been barely any communication from GetMeIn - and when I've tried to phone their customer service number, they are aware of the events coming soon and the fact tickets haven't been dispatched. But when you follow through the options to Wireless, there's just an automatic message that tells you they're having problems with seller's dispatching and then HANG UP.

I will not be purchasing tickets from this website again, and I would strongly recommend that you don't either

As we’re a ticket resale website, we provide a secure platform for people to sell on their tickets - we don’t actually own any of the tickets sold online and there was a late dispatch for this event. Regrettably your seller let us know that he was unable to supply your tickets in time.

In the rare cases where this happens we will do everything we can to find you replacements, unfortunately there just weren’t any equivalent tickets available so we refunded you immediately.

Very unhelpful

Very unhelpful. They take their commission, have no interest in disputes, and do nothing to assist. They bang on about just being a middleman, but there is no point in having a middle man if they don't smooth the transaction.

Ideally you're able to buy tickets directly from the venue, but if you have to buy tickets through a reseller, choose viagogo or stubhub, before these guys. I will never use them again.

In my case, the seller managed to get hold of my phone number through getmein. We were able to resolve the ticket issue in 5 minutes, when getmein had messed both me and the seller around for weeks. Neither of us will use the service again.

Trustworthy, legit, professional

I bought my Beyonce tickets from Ticketmaster and then she announced the Saturday date. That date worked better for me and my friends so I put my tickets on Get Me In for the same price I bought them. I only wanted my money back. They were sold on the next day after I put them on the site. I put the tickets online on the Monday, sold them on the Tuesday and they were collected from my house by UPS a couple hours later. I saw that it took 7-10 working days to get my money back and wasn't worried as I knew my tickets were legit. The concert ended on Friday 15th June and I got my money in my paypal account on Tuesday 26th June. Had to write this review as I hear so much bad stuff about these kind of websites. So I'm glad to find that this one was trustworthy and I will use them again.

Payments slower than promised - still waiting.

Getmein say they pay “7 to 10 working days” after the event.

I’m still waiting for payment on the 28th June for an event on the 12th June. 11 days after the event, not counting today or the event date.

The selling process was fine, but the payment is what matters. I’m not happy.

Ticket touts

Ticket touts - this company sell at massivly over inflated prices adding so called 'admin' fees. The sooner they are banned like viagogo the better!

I sold and sent my tickets 3 weeks ago

I sold and sent my tickets 3 weeks ago, today makes day 10 after the event, and there is nothng in my bank or paypal and no way of CALLING. Just FAQs and if you say it didn't help a message pops up saying, you sure? check again.
At the moment im £200 out of pocket.

Edit: I know payment isn't till 10 days after, that's why my review said it is day 10 after the event.....
After searching twitter for an email address I found one (in reply to another complaint) and messaged through to be told that my sale still showed as dispatched instead of complete, which was then amended and the process started for me to get my ticket money, this was a quick and easy fix and still took another 4 weekdays for me to receive my payment.
There is not any contact details on the website, this needs addressed. FAQs are not what everyone is looking for.
I don't think I would use again for ticket sales due to the stress of waiting and the extra cost added by get me in to people buying, I sold my tickets for less than face value, but they still charged £40 fee, £10 postage fee, plus increase to actual ticket price I chose.

Make sure you do your research

Make sure you do your research. If you search not around not all sellers are too expensive. I got my ticket weeks before the gig so very thankful the seller was so good. I have no problems and would definitely use get me in again. I have used the site as both a buyer and a seller and would recommend it to anyone

Stones gig.

I have recently had to pick up my tickets from venue for rolling stones gig. I paid £10.57 originally to have them delivered.
After informing getmein that I would go to department of fair trading if I did not get my postage fee back, they refunded me. Don't let them get away with it. It's your money get it back. I will never deal with these people again.

Very poor communication

Very poor communication, arrogance, rudeness. They sent my refund to a Paypal account I had no access to (NOT the one I used to buy the tickets), then refused to correct the account or acknowledge their mistake - therefore I lost the refund and about 3 hours of trying to reach them and Paypal. Will never use this service to buy tickets again, I felt insulted in every interaction I had with them.
