Upside is a great idea but needs improvement
Upside is a great idea, but oftentimes it's difficult to collect the cash back. They should work on making it easier to use.

Cash back was awarded after denial
I was not awarded my cash back due to the merchant’s failure to issue a receipt with all the info. I reached out to customer service & they credited my account right away after a few verification files were uploaded.

That chat system is getting better.
I would prefer to chat with a real person but I have learned to navigate the help chat. They have always been able to resolve the issue. If it was their issue, they would fix it. A couple of times it was me that messed up.

Doesn't pay out like promised. Continually delays processing and their customer support is trash. Constantly wanting you to re-upload receipts and still not paying as promised. Does not transfer money into your bank account in a timely manner. If I could, I'd give them a 0 stars.

Do yourself a favor and don’t use Apple Pay.
Directly pay with the card you have on file.
It’s annoying to contact customer service, but at least customer service is great at helping.

Numerous stations giving discounted gas versus the listed price. You can easily search by your location. The cash back accumulates and you can take it out as a gift card or have it put in your bank account. Whenever I've had an issue they're very helpful and generally I end up getting paid

I was missing a cash payout after several days, and the Bot said that it was still being processed. Within 24 hours, I had an email with the Target gift card. I have never had any problems with payouts before this, and this one just took a little longer than normal. Very satisfied with the system and the results.

I have had transactions where I claimed it after cuz I forgot to do it before or while doing it but I was able to prove the transaction and able to get it. This time I didn't know it was listed on upside until after and the claim went through I thought but then they took it back since found out it was done after. But it had already gone through and had the proof on it. very frustrating

I've had Upside for almost three years now and I have had great luck with it. I think I've reached the 300.00 mark with cash back. We use it every weekend and during the week. And we've changed to premium when we drive a classic car. Every little amount of cash back adds up over time and it's some what rewarding to get a GC with the cash back. And it's FREE!
