Gibbs Gillespie - invoice fraud

Gibbs - Gillespie - estate agents who run with the Deposit

The Set UP

Gibbs - Gillespie not Gibbs Gilespie. In fact it is good old Northfields Estate Agents - who disappear strangely from the market.

No. Gibbs Gilespie is not Northfields estate agency. It is The Romans Group.

With more then 3000 employers - non of those 3 companies is a member of any trading or government regulated body or supervised by Ombudsman. So they are free raiders on the market and can rob you anywhere you cross their path.

The Tenancy

In Apil 2018 I have rented and apartment from them and paid over 20k as upfront rent. Part of this money ( app £2 000 ) is so called deposits.

Apparently the property has a historical problem with its heating. So there was no radiators working. The problem was discovered in November same year 2018 . After endless emails, phone calls, promises - appeared that no Gibbs-Gillespie, nor Northfields, nor the Romans Group are in a position to repair the radiators and make them work.

In November 2022 - as the problem escalated further they asked me to leave the property and offered me £400 compensation for my electrical bills ( how generous for 4 years). Only the bill for last December was of exceed of £500. I agreed to leave the property.

Gibbs - Gillespie Associates

The man in black

On the day of vacating the property a person dressed in black like Zoro - turn up and asked me “to leave the keys and go” - which I did.
3 days later this individual come back with 94 pages of report stating that - 3 chairs and leather sofa has to be removed at my expense.

F&B Property Service

Apparently - I had a spear key and 30 min later I was in the property.
I removed 3 chairs and the sofa. I left the two part sofa on the parking bay and arranged to be collected next morning. I have send messages and emails with pictures to both the agent and landlord.
Despite that next morning one part of the sofa was taken a way from a company appointed by estate agents - with no permission from my end. Couple of hours later I received and invoice of exceed of £400.

This invoice was send from behalf of F&B PROPERTY SERVICE.

Quick check on internet shows that such company dose not exist. It has no phone number, web or physical address, or any registration of company house.
So my sofa was vandalised - and on the top I was asked to pay for this service.
I am in a process now of investigating invoice fraud from behalf of Gibbs - Gillespie, Northfields Estate Agents, The Romans Group

Abbie Lomo-Dash
The person behind all this mess is Abbie Lomo-Dash. She is the agent of Gibbs-Gillespie and Northfields Estate Agents and Romans Group. She operate from different emails - some of which old or blocked. She cannot be contacted over the phone also as Abbie Lomo-Dash is on lunch break most of the time.

CONCLUSUION

After benign a tenant to Gibbs - Gillespie, Northfields Estate Agents and The Romans Group and paid them almost 90k - I was robbed.
They run a way with my deposit. They run a way with my compensation and vandalised my belongings. For this they used invoice fraud and other tactics like blocking my email and phone.
Now I am investigating whether by law I can recover my deposit.
Whether I can get my compensation - or even higher compensation for more then 4 years stress, financial losses and physiological pressure

Overall I think this is standard set up for Gibbs-Gillespie, Northfields Estate Agents and Romans Group- which I believe many tenants of theirs are suffering
