Girl Meets Brush Reviews 

I have always had an interest in makeup but only just taking the plunge to do something with it late last year when I started the academy, I have a busy life at home and needed something very flexible. The GMB academy looked like the perfect fit for me and now around 7month later I am seeing the evidence of it being a perfect fit I have 3 photoshoots set up so far. I now have the knowledge, tools and motivation to get things moving, Lynne and everyone else at the academy are amazing at what they do, they support you and guide you and I as a single mum with a busy life can’t recommend the academy enough.

"Girl Meets Brush " academy was my best move this year. Lynne I absolutely amazing with vast experience and knowledge. But academy its not just about your development, you get there amazing support exchange of experiences, lots of new ideas but also inspiration.
Girl Meets Brush gives me strength and motivation to push myself forward. Thanks to Lynne my biggest dream come true. Lucky to be a part of GMB academy. My experience with the academy has been tremendous. The platform has provided me with the life time opportunity to participate as a backstage makeup artist in the London Fashion Week 2022. My mentor Lynne is an amazing person, very encouraging and motivating. Always guide and help you to achieve the best of your abilities.

I joined the Girl Meets Brush Academy about 2 years ago, and I have never looked back. i have learnt so much with the units inside the academy and the support that you receive is second to none.
I have grown as a makeup artist and as a person and feel more confident to pursue my dreams.
Lynne helps us progress with competitions and challenges through the year and these really help you focus on your skills and areas that you want to concentrate on .
Achieving a place on the London Fashion Week team in Feb 22, was a dream come true. It was like being reunited with your online family and the experience itself was just out of this world.

I am part of the academy for a few years now and love it!
Have been very much encouraged to develop my skills and I am now doing looks that I never though be able too.
I feel very supported by the academy and Lynne Mills on this journey.
Also being part of a group and community that support each other has been so important to me!
I can also add that the girl meets brush eyeshadows and face palettes are very beautiful! Love the makeup brushes too!! Overall joining this academy has been one of the best decisions!

Fantastic quality!

I love my brush set from Girl meets brush, the quality is excellent! I’ve been using them for a while now and they are as soft as they were when I first got them. Far better than other brands I’ve used in the past!

I am loving being part of the academy. The courses are easy to navigate and have amazing content. The support from Lynne and the others is outstanding. I'm not big on Facebook but everyone in the group is supportive and encouraging and a great community to be part of. My experience in fashion week was phenomenal and a dream come true. This is honestly the best way to learn from scratch or perfect existing experience.

These brushes are definitely worth it!

I've been with the GMB Academy for 2 years now. The community is incredible and Lynne has been outstanding with her support. I really lacked the confidence before joining GMB, but Lynne and the community has given me so much drive and self belief.

Girl meets brush is by far the best makeup academy to study and learn all about makeup. Lynne Mills who runs the academy provides informative, easy to follow guide on how to become a successful MUA. The support from Lynne, Jo and the others within the group is outstanding. With the help of the academy I went from owning 5 makeup brushes, few items of makeup to having a full professional kit and become a working mua. I’ve had work published and been very privileged to be part of the backstage team working at House of Ikons London Fashion week! An opportunity of a lifetime, unreal experience!

I came across girl meets brush on Facebook whilst having more time on my hands due to covid, there was a competition on the page that anyone could join, with a weekly challenge based on the TV show glow up on the BBC ,I decided to give it ago and submitted my entry just in time for the first challenge, I went on to be one of the winners and felt so good, it was a confidance boost to read all the support from other members of the group, this made me want to do more, it couldn't have come at a better time as it gave me something to focus on instead of everything else that was going on in the world, the group/ community is so friendly, everyone supporting each other, Iv learnt so much from the others and came to realise I'm pretty good at make up and creative looks, and went on to get a 2nd place win in the competition and receiving the most fabulous prize, to be published in lux life magazine! So I will always be forever grateful of girl meets brush and I'm so glad I came across it and would recommend joining a thousand times over x

I had been a self taught makeup for about 2 years until I came across Girl Meets Brush. Not only are their brush sets completely stunning but the courses in the academy are absolutely incredible! They are so clear, informative and easy to access. I was blown away with how kind and helpful they are, they respond to any help or advise very quickly. They have built my confidence no end and even though I have completed some courses with them, I will remain in the academy as they are always adding to modules and other info/training resources to help you within the industry. They give you such amazing opportunities to help you achieve your goals and dreams and even give you access to parts of the industry you would only ever dream of being a part of. I must say this academy is amazing. The support and encouragement is second to none. As well as offering great courses, the community it's self is very supportive. The group run's challenges that really help you grow as an artist. There are incredible opportunities also. I cannot recommend it enough.

This academy is amazing! Really informative, bitesize amounts of information that are easy to digest and the brushes, oh my god - so soft, so easy to use and just so incredible! I'm so glad I signed up to the academy!

A fabulous company which offers amazing opportunities for the students and professionals within the make-up aritsty industry. The brush kits are of excellent quality and are the perfect tools for any make-up artist. Such a fun, supportive, professional and engaging community. 5 stars!

I have been part of the girl meets brush community for the last 6 months and couldn’t recommend them enough! It is a wonderful supportive community for makeup artists starting out. I also attended one of the masterclasses which was a brilliant and really informative session. The brush sets are also some of the best brushes I’ve used!

I have enjoyed every moment of being in this academy. When I was newly working as a makeup artist, It is always a worry and scary, but being here has been amazing with all the help and support form everyone and Lynne. It’s opened up so many doors for me too, from pushing my boundaries on challenges and winning some, to being published in the pro beauty mag, to winning a place at London fashion week - this was like a dream! Although I am a qualified and working mua I still learn being in here, but for me it’s the community I love the most. Oh and the brushes are amazing 😉

GMB is an amazing community and safe haven for all would be MUA's to share their work. Lynne's online masterclasses are fantastic and really helps to build your skills. In such dark times with this virus, the GMB community has helped raise my spirits and keep me motivated especially with the makeup challenges. It has also been an amazing springboard and gave me the opportunity to be a part of LFW aswel as run masterclasses myself. Without GMB I would not have had such amazing opportunities and made so many friends.
