This was my third tour and they just get better and better. Paul was brilliant and it is so sad that such a brilliant visitor attraction gets no financial help from central funding

Brilliant Tour 🚉
Jackie brought this tour alive with her extensive knowledge and brilliant delivery!
I would highly recommend this tour! It was a great history lesson and very entertaining 😀.
An entertaining tour
An entertaining tour - gid patter from Jackie. Brought Glasgow history to life.
Wow! Just Wow !!
Wow!! Just Wow !! Jackie took our tour today and I have to say. The knowledge and passion she has for what she does is outstanding. I cannot recommend this tour enough. If I could give it 100 stars…..I would !!
I’d give it zero if I could
I’d give it zero if I could. It is the worst thing I’ve ever paid money to do! Our guide spoke with A very heavy Italian accent and I could understand very little of what she said. In fact no one asked any questions during the tour because we had no idea what she was incoherently rambling on about. Most of the tour is pretty much in the lower level parking area, with only the last 15 minutes or so being in the area that you may see photos of. It’s a 20 minute tour painfully stretched to 2 hours with very little content of interest. Cheesy murals and props along the way did not add anything to the experience. I’d read some good reviews before booking this and felt totally ripped off by this “tour”. Time would have been better spent drinking—which I definitely needed after surviving this! 2 hours of my life I’ll never get back. Yikes.

Hi wondering how I go about getting a refund for a tour that didn’t go ahead? It was cancelled last December due to rail strikes. I’ve sent emails also called the number on the website and left messages. No reply.

Paul our guide really made the experience. So interesting listening to his stories and seeing the different levels of the station. Future plans are going to make this tour even bigger and better 😊
Glasgow Centrals Secrets Revealed
Paul, the tour guides absolute passion for Glasgow central was like a shinning light throughout the tour, it was funny,it was sad and moving at times,I hope all the dreams and wishes for the future come true and I can't wait to see the Steam Engine down in the old Victorian Line part of the station......highly recommended
Jackie
What made my experience great? Answer, Jackie. Her knowledge, the way she put it over, and the way she held everyones attention was great. Her efforts in building up the museum, and her enthusiasm and drive to get the long disused platform up and used for a static exhibition, with a view to maybe joining the existing low level line at some time in the future was infectious. Well done Jackie and the other Network Rail staff that have assisted in developing the tour and the museum.

Birthday tour
Paul made the experience amazing. We all had a great time for my birthday
A gem of a tour. Not to be missed.
This is a fabulous and informative guided tour. Lots of interesting stories told by the expert guide Jackie made the experience come alive. Great railway stories linking to Scottish and Glasgow history. The tour is almost 2 hours but the time flew by. My only complaint would be the lack of time in the museum. This is filled with all kinds of interesting artefacts. Can’t wait to return next year when the tracks and steam engine are added to the Victorian experience.
Many of our Glasgow friends recommended…
Many of our Glasgow friends recommended this tour as a worthwhile way to spend 90 minutes or so. It does what it says on the lid - shows you parts of the station you would not otherwise see - and have a very professional and story funded guide (Jackie) to tell all about the station's innards and history. But this offering is only in it's infancy with a long and very interesting journey ahead. As it stands the tour is fine but Immediate improvement could be made by allowing more than about 12 - 15 minutes in the small
museum. Preferably the museum experience could be the last stop of the tour and after the cap and tabard have been handed back and all souls accounted for. Which might providing space for the museum at ground level. More space will be required in any event if Jackie's searches for exhibits continue apace. In the longer term the current project to bring "alive" a disused platform in a siding in the bowels of the station adjacent to the lower level tracks shows the immense depth of passion the guide team have in their baby and the height of ambition to make it all the grander and more fulfilling for visitors. I would like to think that someone/organisation with deep pockets shares their ambition and will help them on their way. In the meantime all I can do is say a big thank you to Jackie and wish her and her associates a rich and successful future and we will be back.
Well worth a visit
Well worth a visit for anyone that has an interest in history. The tour guide has a absolute wealth on knowledge. Highly recommended.
Christmas Present
Christmas Present. In advance I was interested but indifferent about the tour. It took me by surprise, a brilliant experience seeing behind the scenes of an iconic building and years of history. The overall tour was undoubtedly enhanced by the tour guide Paul, who really brought the bowels of the building alive with his humour, delivery and passion. I am looking forward to going back to see how the experience develops. Thoroughly recommended.
