An unprofessional bunch of chancers
We booked a weekly clean, but over a three week period, they only managed to send one cleaner once.
The very first clean was cancelled with just 40 minutes notice, and they had no alternative cleaners on any alternative days available. What a great first impression.
The second clean happened on time. There was definitely room for improvement, but overall it was fine.
Third clean didn't happen, as the previous cleaner had become unavailable, the replacement cleaner they offered also later became unavailable, and then they finally terminated my services as they had literally nobody else to send me.
The idea that they would be able to deliver on their advertised happiness guarantee of "If you're not satisfied, we'll come back to re-clean at no extra cost" is laughable, when most of the time they can't even manage to send anyone to clean it in the first place.
I thought a cleaning service would relieve my stress. Instead, I got to deal with rescheduling calls and last-minute cancellations on a near-daily basis. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
Very happy
I had a deep clean by Glimmr just before Christmas, and was very happy with the service. My cleaner, Jolanta, was punctual, very friendly and did an excellent job! I'll definitely use the service again.

I had two domestic cleans with Glimmr, agreed on their website that this would be on a biweekly basis on Sundays. The first time I had the clean, they moved my appointment from morning to afternoon, which was fine. The second time I tried to have my clean, they cancelled and rescheduled my appointment no less than 5 times, pushing my clean into the weekdays when I had work, constantly calling me while I was at work, which I tried to be understanding about given the 'covid' climate. At this point, i hadn't had my house cleaned for 3 weeks. To top it all off, they finally cancelled on me less than 24 hours before my clean was due and said they didn't have any more availabilities in the near term to book me in
The entire process with them was stressful and just absolutely ridiculous. Avoid at all costs. Only book with them if you want to go through weeks of hassle to just end up cleaning your house yourself

Avoid at all costs. Completely unreliable. I booked these to do an end of tenancy clean for the morning before my move. A few days before the cleaning date they called to say the cleaner had another booking and so they would have to send someone else, but in the afternoon. I agreed, but stressed how it was essential that someone was available on the day in question as it left me no time to find an alternative solution. On the day of the booking I called them, to be told they had not been able to contact the cleaner, and that he/she had not showed up for their earlier appointments. They then suggested another cleaner might possibly be able to come later in the afternoon. Given the extreme unlikelihood that this person actually existed or would turn up, I had to request a refund and look elsewhere.

We arranged an end of tenancy clean with specialist carpet cleaning...
Long story short, would just say avoid, wish I hadn't spent the money with them and looked harder for recommendations.
The customer service to arrange this was ok, and I was hopeful when the cleaners arrived that they would do a good job, although it had been recommended that I not be in the property whilst the cleaning occurred.
Although on my brief inspection the flat looked cleaned, when I actually looked (and not in hard to reach places) the reality was that a tardy half a job had been done. What was worse, the carpet had been pulled up by the machine to the point where some of my doors would no longer open.
Again, the customer service team were understanding, but the follow up visit to try and right the initial wrongs was worse than the first time around.
Outright rude cleaning staff barged into my flat, didn't listen to what I was saying to clarify where the missed areas were, did a cursory dusting and then left with the flat in exactly the same state as before, all the time muttering expletives.
I can't believe we paid so much for this and that since sending a description of our experience we haven't received any word back from them.
Update: Once they had realised that my email had been missed they did their best to rectify my situation.

A big thank you to Glimmr. Very personable and significantly cheaper than some local competitors. I had hoped for a certain level of service but this went far beyond my expectations. Absolutely immaculate following a very comprehensive clean. They even tended the plants. Highly recommended.
They have cancelled the booking and charged me
You book this cleaning company online. They call you two days before the clean they will say the cleaner is unavailable but charge £12 more for the cleaner to come on the bus with a mop and charge you the 100%cancellation fee if you won’t pay it. They state they’ll not charge you but they do. be warned they are then not responding to the phone or emails

Excellent customer service. Patricia the customer service agent, really helped me, there was no availibility for a next day service. But she secured a cleaner last minute, while keeping me informed how the search is going. Excellent phone manner, friendly, reassuring very dilligent.

Wasnt pleased regarding hiring process negative feedback, they have clients who judge new cleaners for their cleaning who dont have any experience regarding cleaning and if they are not happy with their cleaning they make them travel and have 20 min trial for free..not paid...they should improve the hiring process dont make tired cleaners for nothing to be judge in trial from people with no experience and be rejected people with years of experience

The cleaner was Pao and lazy as can be
The cleaner was named Pao who came to clean the flat. She didn't speak much English but I tried to show her by doing the cleaning and she said yes yes she understood and said she would be fine wiping the wardrobes dust with wipes and finishing off with mopping. I really really regret using Glimmr and I can't understand the ratings given. I first I booked and paid for 12pm and they called me to say cleaner would come later around 13:00. Cleaner came at 14:10 and didn't apologise or say anything about being late, I asked if she was delayed at another job and she smiled no this is my first job of the day.
I asked her to wipe / dust the 4 wardrobes/closets in the flat with wet wipes that I had purchased and the inside of the kitchen cabinets which were empty. She honestly could not do this and lied about it saying she did it and when I showed her the wipe 2 hours later when I came back I used in one of the closets she said she forgot to do this one????? I checked she didn't wipe anything well or at all and was likely on the phone while I was away.
Then I stayed in the flat for the last hour and asked her to mop which again she couldn't do well, she picked which mop she wanted to use and the cleaning product and then wouldn't press hard on the floor so none of the food marks would come out, when I asked her in one spot to do it again she pretended she couldn't see the mark on the wooden floors and mopped it 2 more times when it did come out......she was really useless and not worth keeping. she was not only VERY VERY lazy but didn't know how to clean at all.
A very unhappy customer. Given this was my first experience with this Glimmr company I really do believe other reviews are made up and false on this website as no proof needs to be shown you used this service. I would be really careful as this woman definitely was not a cleaner.

Online booking form is very easy to use. I like how they have a scheduling platform to make changes to cleans when needed. We've had to go away a couple times so it has made it very easy.
If you’re looking for a reliable cleaning company this is not the one!
I booked a one off deep clean for last Saturday and I was called by the advisor to ask whether I wouldn’t mind moving it to Sunday as that’s when the specialist clean team we’re available so I changed my plans in order to accommodate a 11-12 slot. 10 mins before 12 I received a text to say they had to cancel my clean because “the mode of transport the cleaners were travelling in had broken down”. Funny that the message was sent 10mins before they were officially late, does this mean they had started the journey and were close by? Or more likely they had over booked their cleaners. I called the office and was offered a simple apology that’s it. There was no resolve whatsoever to help fix the situation. I asked whether another team could come later, the response was no. When I asked whether they could come an alternative day I was told they would call me back. Half hour later I called to say not to bother I had been already been massively inconvenienced.
If you value your time, need a reputable company with a workforce that can backfill this definitely isn’t it.
