Avoid this dealership
Avoid this dealership. I bought a BMW M235i from Global Motors and the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
On collection day the battery was completely dead, which should have been checked before handover. The car also had no undertrays fitted, leaking shock absorbers, dents that weren’t properly disclosed, and an awful quality bumper respray. - And yes, they had to jumpstart my car infront of me while in handover. Professional.
They lost my spare key and paperwork once I returned the car to get fixed, and I ended up having to apply for my own V5C because they didn’t have it available.
The car was advertised as having a “full custom exhaust”, but in reality it only had a decat fitted — which is illegal for road use and completely misleading advertising. Not a great look, especially that it passed MOT, with no advisories. Professional.
I was also told the car had been taxed in my name, yet after driving it for around two weeks I was stopped by police and questioned because the vehicle was actually untaxed.
To make things worse, I had to pay for my own replacement battery because they refused to supply even a mid-range one. I then had to wait over a month for them to reimburse me.
Overall the car was not as described and the level of preparation, communication and professionalism was extremely poor. I would strongly recommend anyone considering buying from this dealership thoroughly inspect the vehicle and independently check all paperwork before purchasing.
In my opinion, Global motors care more about revenue than customer experience. Took my deposit within 2 minutes of messaging, but took months to reimburse me on expenses I required. Professional.
For the money they charge, you would expect one of the cleanest examples on the market, Clearly not.
This wasnt even half the issues, and when i got in touch to sell the car back to them, i got plain blank ignored. Once again Professional.
