Saw this company recommended online. As we needed medical cover as well as being senior citizens, the quotes I had received for cover were ridiculous. Looked at the website and telephoned them as I had a couple of questions. very satisfied with their response. Don't know how they would deal with a claim, as we have not needed to claim so far So far very Satisfied.

After a recent easyjet cancellation
After a recent easyjet cancellation, Globelink when contacted about expenses incurred because of the cancelation refer you to a (Loss adjuster) HWA claims.
There sole intention is to not pay out any claim however legitimate. They will delay, prevaricate, and pass your claim throughout the company to wear you down!
Therefore Globelink take your money, and HWA will never pay should you be unfortunate to suffer a problem.
Please beware prospective buyers, the chances are you are paying for an insurance policy that is not worth the paper its printed on, should you be foolish enough to print a copy!

Can't be insured any more....
Up till recently me and my husband were Globelink regular customers and were quite satisfied with their service. But now that my husband has a heart stent Globelink does not cover his condition any more. Ironically, when he was more prone to a cardiovascular emergency he could be insured, now that the stent works as prevention he can’t. I wish Globelink could offer medical insurance for chronic/pre-existing conditions other than those mentioned in their list of “no screen conditions”. I am talking of so widely spread cardiovascular problems that could be life threatening and for which so many senior travelers expect coverage from their health insurance. In Europe, and in Italy where we live, insurance agencies offering such policies are few and far between. I know in the UK there are some but they all cater to UK residents. Unfortunately, for this reason my husband has to abandon Globelink and look elsewhere.

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry we will be losing you, we do not have a medical screening system at the moment, you will continue to be covered for anything unrelated to the known pre-existing medical condition at the time of purchase but if you do require cover for a pre-existing medical condition not covered by us, you will need to seek alternative travel insurance providers who will advise if your condition can be covered, at what price and any changes that apply may to their terms.

Dreadful people
Dreadful people - missed ferry, hotel etc etc due to car problems all of which were non refundable - spent weeks re-sending documents to them and then more weeks asking what was going on - finally a response - of course nothing covered - will definitely not renew with them again - a very stressful waste of my precious time.

Globelink International Travel Insurance are the most competitive and safe travel insurance company to deal with. Their web site is easy to navigate and is supported by a helpful on line system. We have used them for travel in the USA, Caribbean, Greek Islands and the Mediterranean and every time their cost is better than other companies. My wife and I are Senior's so naturally we look to cover us both 100% and can always rely on Globelink to provide us with adequate travel insurance cover.

It is over twelve weeks since I…
It is over twelve weeks since I submitted our claim. ( a missed connection owing to our flight arriving late in Dubai). In support of our claim we have submitted 27 emails with over 30 plus pieces of evidence...copies of tickets, itinerary, letters from the airline apologising for the inconvenience etc. In addition, we have telephoned their office on several occasions. Each time it was the same mantra "we have a lot of claims to process and yours will be dealt with in due course"
On each occasion when documentation was provided this company in response have asked for more documents/clarification.
Globelink Travel Insurance tardiness and obfuscation should be an embarrassment to them. We will not be seeking to utilise their service again.
