We purchased a vango valkara air awning in May 2021. August 2021 we had to phone Glossip Caravan awnings as the inner tubes burst. They sent new tubes. We used the new tubes for the first time July 2022 ....the new tubes that were sent burst again. They again sent new tubes. The same happened again with the new tubes in August 2023. I phoned again and I was told that it was a design fault, that the original tubes only had a single seal but now the tubes are designed with a double seal. We have now just opened up the new 'double sealed' tubes and put up the awning for our holiday this year and all the tubes burst within 2 hours. We have now had to take the awning down again. We have 2 family members that are supposed to be coming to stay with us for 3 nights and now are not able to sleep in our awning. I phoned Glossip caravan awnings and am now waiting on a manager to call me back. I think I have been very patient over the last 4 summers but due to the inconvenience with the awning and it spoiling our holiday I am now looking for the awning to be collected and returned to Glossip caravan awning and a full refund of the £999 that I paid for this awning. I await the phone call........
Purchased an awning which had pole attachment missing. Company tried to blame me and then their supplier as they said that they are just the middle man and awning goes straight from the supplier. Eventually got back to me after review and paid for repair - thanks google 👍
Looked on Google for low awning for our Eriba. set off from Southport, talked to young chap, showed him the awning off website and talked about whether suitable for our caravan. Great website, very informative

Took and order via their web site although they had no stock of what turned out to be nolonger available awning from the manufacturers . They took the mony anyway. Did not reply to enquires saleman unhelpful and did not offer an alternative! had to be chased up when I placed a second order over the phone for a similar awning. Had to deal with the switchboard operator to get a refund for the differance. Again salesman uninterested!! When second awning was unsuitable again had to arrange for the return and refund with the operator. Again sales uninterested!!
Had to pay for the return costs!! Had to chase up the full refund after 14 days .
Do not touch this company with a barge pole only interested in taking your money, forget serevice to customers

No news of delays. Bought an awing at nec but not told of long delays making them. Calls to service were rude and dismissive. Awful. Steer clear
I’m giving three stars in anticipation that the proposed delivery date will be honoured. Initial contact with Glossop was regarding price matching as their product was much higher priced than other suppliers. Despite an initial reply saying they would check with the rep to see if price matching was possible I got nothing back which may have been because the product I was hoping to buy was out of stock. I need the product for a date this month so went ahead and ordered it anyway not knowing the stock issue as they didn’t say that the product was out of stock. After chasing I found this out. So far the experience has been poor but let’s hope they remedy this when the product comes into stock next week as advised.
Fantastic service, helpful and knowledgeable staff. They sorted out the delivery with the supplier and kept me informed. I purchased my caravan with Glossop two years ago and they had all my details and so I got a nice discount which made the difference than buying from some obscure online retailer. They have a good showroom so you can actually go and see the products and a good accessories shop too. Many thanks to Dom.
I used the chat box to ask a question and received excellent information very quickly, but even better than that I was offered an excellent deal on a product and it arrived extremely quickly, I was really impressed with all the dealings I had with this company, I would highly recommend using them.
Paid a deposit in early November 2023 on a Starcamp Magnum Airforce 260 Klimatex with the balance on 15th January 2024 to get a show discount, and it turned up early the next day! Really great service, thank you.
A great service from Dom! I knew the awning I wanted to order but he talked me through the extras I wanted to purchase and answered my many questions. When my parcel arrived damaged by the carrier with parts missing he made sure they were despatched again immediately. I really cannot fault his service. His knowledge and patience have been greatly appreciated and I would highly recommend him to anyone. Many thanks again!
Disappointingly no response when truthful feedback is given, as I have said before I will say again, shocking customer service, consider very carefully spending your money.

I ordered a Ventura awning from Glossop's this month, and was extremely please with the service. I tried to order this from a local caravan awning dealer, but they so negative in there attitude I decided to try online. Glad I did, contacted Dominic via the chat window, got a great price and phone Glossop's to confirm order. Arrived on time as promised, great service and good price, thanks.

Ordered an awning not in stock , but they phoned supplier , then phone me back within 5 minutes,
Confirmed that it would be with me 2-3 days and it was.
My wife is disabled we wanted to visit Glossop awnings and unbelievably in this day and age there is no access to the upper floor where most awnings are on display as Glossop have just made a song and dance about upgrading the showroom yet no access for my wife
I made a bit of a pigs ear of my order when I made it. Scott was fantastic and sorted the issues straight away. The delivery came the very next day. What can I say……SUPER SERVICE! Thankyou
Can't believe that I ordered a utility tent mid afternoon on Tuesday and it arrived just after 12.00 on Wednesday. What brilliant service. The estimated delivery day was Friday so we were very pleasantly surprised. Well done Glossop.
