Great Customer Service

Impressed with customer service.
Was very pleased with the ui, and the value for money. Had issues with DPD delivery (see below). Posted a 3 star review (16th). Next morning (17th), was rung by customer service, I didn't pickup. So was then emailed next minute or so. This email apologised, had identified my issue, and offered a 50% refund. I said yes. Next email, confirmed the refund, gave a £number, and informed that the error that led to my delivery problem had been chased up and fixed. (18th) - received refund.
The fact that, next day, a human, not an ai, outlined what caused my delivery problem, solved it, and offered me 1/2 my money back.
Means that my confidence to buy from glsed in future is good. And I can recommend them with 5 stars.
Delivery issue:
DPD missed my house twice, and when I rang up their customer service, it was outsourced. Said customer service told me that they had only my postcode and general area, and blamed gls.
After getting DPD to deliver to a pickup point, I got my package which was significantly roughed up. This was on the 16th, so 3 days later than the promised delivery (13th Feb).
I took photos of everything battered, and of two pencils that had broken heads.
I would mention, that having to drive to pickup my parcel defeats the point of free delivery.
Also, that the delivery note from gls, and the DPD box label, had my address in full and correct.
Lauren, who emailed me on 17th. Told me that "[my house] did not pull through on the [driver's info]".
2nd email: "[gls has] made updates to [their] system to ensure [my] address transfers correctly to DPD's [stuff]" for future orders.

After receiving the wrong item, GLS educational supplies very quickly and most efficiently corrected the error and I received what I’d initially ordered. So a big thank you and I’d like to say that I would happily use this company.
