We bought a car from a garage two months ago. Just found out the radiator is out of place, which clearly suggests it’s had a front-end impact. I called the garage yesterday and they initially agreed to sort it out. called my so. back to say they won’t cover the repair after all , check it under warranty (which they won’t cover all of )
Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? What are my options here? I actually recorded the conversation as I knew they would back track ,please DO Not USE this company
Avoid at all costs - Misleading, Unsafe & Unprofessional
I drove over three hours after doing thorough research on two Dacias listed by this company. I checked the MOT history, photos, and listings, and everything appeared to be in order. However, what we found upon arrival was shocking.
First, we were handed two broken keys — completely different from the ones shown in the photos, and they barely worked. The condition of the cars was appalling. The interiors were filthy: human hair, fingernails, grime-coated seats, and even old food left in the glove box. These vehicles were not just dirty — they were unhygienic.
Both cars were also covered in scratches and scuffs that had been poorly covered up — none of which were disclosed or visible in the photos. Thankfully, my dad is a mechanic and brought a fault scanner with him. He scanned both cars and found over seven faults each, many of which were serious safety issues. These vehicles are absolutely not roadworthy.
To top it off, the whole operation was unprofessional. We were told to park on double yellow lines, and the staff seemed completely unbothered by the state of the vehicles or the false advertising.
This company should not be allowed to operate. They’re putting lives at risk by selling unsafe cars and completely misleading customers. Do not waste your time or money here.
Absolutely appalling …
My son bought a car from these people and we’ve had nothing but trouble with it. They tell you your new vehicle will be freshly serviced and mot’d which is rubbish and they lie about everything.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! They are conmen.

I'm a pensioner who stupidly trusted these cowboys. Just discovered they basically sold me a cut and shut. Also bought my granddaughters car at the same time and that has also been in a bad accident. Would not trust this place at all
If I could give zero starts I would
If I could give zero starts I would.
Rang ahead regarding a vehicle wasn't advised to place any deposits on the car as they would be here when I arrived for cash purchase.
Damages to vehicle wasn't highlighted clearly in the photograph and where the damage is put was angled in such a way you'd need to zoom in to find and view the damage.
Upon arriving seeing further vehicles with sale signs in the but clearly damaged areas with bumpers hanging off, over spray from painted area.
The seller goes well what do you expect for your budget and what do you want us to do highlight the photos and say damaged here etc.
He said what do you want us to do with regards to painting cars I said inform customers especially if you've got clear over spray and he said we aren't obligated to tell or inform customers or these faults and issues.
What do you expect? An honest decent garage to be clear and transparent.
To then suddenly have sold the car by a deposit on a vehicle.
There is writing over the rear headlights for a scrap yard which you've obviously replaced and not been clear with customers.
I'd avoid and not waste your time.
AVOID AVOID REPORT REPORT…
AVOID AVOID REPORT REPORT….
Seriously this company needs to close down and the owner needs investigating . Dodgy company selling trash to customers. Save your money and go elsewhere. There are cowboys and then there are Indi . Please please please avoid don’t get stung !!
Amazing
wow! Words can't describe how I feel about this company. Best DEALERSHIP I EVER BEEN TO! WILL 100% COME BACK
They were quick to resolve a minor issue after delivery.
After delivery, I noticed a minor issue with the car, but I was blown away by how quickly GM Motoring World handled it. Their team was responsive, polite, and took care of everything right away. They made sure I was completely satisfied before closing the case, which really showed how much they value their customers.
Easy to buy a car
They are really helpful and it was a easy process overall !
Really good customer service
I was looking for a good auto car which i was finding hard to find. They has few autos and i test drove them and brought the one i liked
very helpful people
very helpful people, didnt khow what i wanted but they let me look at different cars and gave me time to think about which one i wanted.
Brought my first car recently
Brought my first car recently, had a great experience at the dealership. They were really helpful. I would defo recommend!!
Look Closer beforehand
The online advertising is massively misleading. It’s not what it says, but what it doesn’t say that’s important.
I’ll never buy a car that has been performance modified, and yet the advert makes no mention to it at all.
Recently Serviced?! Errrr obviously No.
They claim to resolve the issues before purchasing. So why not get them resolved before advertising..? Replace the brake calipers and the corroded discs at the very least..
A supposedly fully serviced vehicle may well have been fully serviced historically but having driven 100+ miles, seeing horrendously rusted and severely corroding brake calipers, but more importantly an after market air filter, performance intake pipe and an exhaust pipe that would deafen anyone within a 400 yard radius, none of which was referred to in the advert (the lack of a photo of the engine bay now being a pertinent observation), I’ll just leave you with the phrase…
“Caveat Emptor”
Great experience
Great experience. Drove car away and wasn’t feeling right so drove it back and they went above and beyond to correct the things that were wrong so I could drive away with confidence. Adam was very accommodating and very understanding. Would highly recommend to buy from there.
Bought Sept 23
Bought Sept 23. Came back to get car, told it had been serviced, MOTd and 2 new tyres.
Had to return car for new spark plugs within 2 weeks. No fuss, which was good.
Oil light came on and rather than returning again, I filled up oil. Thought this was strange, after all I had been told a service was done. Gave them benefit of the doubt, maybe an oversight by the garage where they have their work done!
Took car for service at my local garage after 6 months as planning big mileage. They told me that the car had not been serviced for years. The 2 new tyres were the wrong size!, the LED on front headlight that wasn't working would need to be sorted (£650)or it would not pass MOT. However, they passed it before I purchased the car. Sunroof leaked and when opened wouldn't close without assistance at local garage.
All smiles til they get your money, then nothing. Never again.
Don't be fooled. The cars are cheaper because they have lots of issues, that you won't be aware of from a short test drive.
I emailed them and was basically ignored.
AVOID THIS COMPANY
In January 2024, I purchased a Citroën DS3 (2011) from this company. When the car was bought, no paperwork was provided, no MOT history, no car service history, no user manual guide, no Vehicle Health Report and no warranty.
In March 2024, the car was taken to Halfords autocentre after the engine warning light has showed on the car's dashboard and the following issues were reported:
'Vehicle came in with oil leaks from multiple locations- 2 oil leaks repaired.
Rocker cover gasket and oil pressure valve seal subframe loose when it came in - all tightened up wiring broken -LOOM repairs. I had to renew both front stabilizer links,
Link/coupling rod, stabilizer bar ×2
Renew the valve cover gasket
Gasket set, cylinder head cover
Renew the lower suspension wishbone arm'.
In April 2024, the car was taken to another garage after the engine warning light showed again on the car's dashboard and the following issues were reported -engine misfiring issues, failing ignition coil, damaged turbocharger and the car injectors, bad wiring, leaks everywhere. The car is still there at the moment.
I was left with a bill from the two garages of £3600
They were contacted but declined to contribute towards the costs for the repairs.
You need to prepare yourself to challenge them legally if you think to buy their cars.
Wouldn't recommend them to anyone!!!
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!!
Brought a car from them and then 3 days later it had to go to the garage as the clutch had gone amongst other things! And I was left with a bill for £2,400!!! I was told the car was mechanically sound, so this was the last thing I was expecting!
ABSOLUTELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! COMPLETE CON!
Bought a car
Bought a car, did really well at first had no issues, only after a while ( few months) it started going wrong. Just taken to an independent garage and it needs £800 of work done which the warranty doesn’t cover, will not go again.
Be VERY careful.......
In my 47 years of driving, I have never had such a traumatic experience buying a car. I found a car that I wanted on Autotrader with this dealer. I turned up to view it and the sales people couldn't have been more enthusiastic. Chatting, joking, friendly. I decided to take the car but had to return the following weekend as the windscreen was cracked and needed replacing. Next weekend I went to collect the car, which was supposed to have been serviced and valeted. While I was paying there were other people there who had just driven away in a car they had bought and brought it straight back as there were problems. They were ushered out, quickly. After I had paid in full I was given one key that was held together with sellotape, the car was still filthy inside, they had just hoovered the footwell, the service book which hadn't been updated since 2021 and no V5C. I started the drive home and after about 15 minutes the coolant low warning light came on. I stopped at a garage and checked the coolant level which was full, l so I thought it might just be the sensor. I got home and parked up. I didn't drive it the following day but the day after I went to go to the shops and after about 5 minutes driving steam started pouring out of the front. I managed to stop and top up the coolant and returned home. I called the dealer and was told, by Adam, to get a mechanic to diagnose the problem and he would 'get it sorted'. I did. It was a leak under the coolant header tank that caused the steam but while he (the mechanic) was there he did a 'sniff test' and found that the head gasket had gone. I informed Adam and, in a nutshell, despite many calls and texts, was ignored for 3 days. I was then told they were going to find a garage local to me to repair the car then I could decide whether to keep it or return it. Another 2 days and nothing. I asked for my money back. I was told 'you need to return the car' I told them, it's not driveable. This to-and-fro exchange continued for another 2-3 days with them seemingly unable to grasp the concept of 'the car is not safe to drive'. Finally, after 16 days and even more phone calls, someone came to collect the car. He said, I'm just going to drive it away from here then we'll get it recovered! Why it couldn't be recovered from my home 2 weeks ago I'll never know. I then got my money back. If you consider buying a car from this dealer take a mechanic with you and don't be bullied. Also make sure what you've been promised is what you get.
