Absolutely abysmal I'm afraid
Absolutely abysmal I'm afraid. Getting a quote was easy enough but to get the advertised rewards has been a nightmare. A|s instructed I downloaded the Renewal App on my phone and followed all the instructions. The app seems to be only concerned with getting more details of other item and did not let me activate the free £250 excess cover. I tried for over two hours, and continually went in circles, Unlees there is an improvement I will not be ujsing Go.Compare again

Log in to your account in the Renewal app
Select the 'Details' button at the bottom of the screen
At the top of the page, select 'Add existing insurance details'

From the drop-down list, select the type of insurance

Good range of prices received
Good range of prices received, but when transferred to the AA website to purchase the insurance my address appeared on their website slightly differently and when I corrected it the offer was withdrawn. Very annoying

Go Compare is the way to go
Really good website, simple and straightforward questions with explanation as to why the information is required.
As a result I received a whole range of car insurance quotes, which saved me £300 compared to my renewal quote.
Overall, a superb service, that I highly recommend.

Household and contents Insurance
This year my old household and contents insurance went up by a third for no apparent reason. Go compare were relatively quick to use, as I had the majority of my details already saved and just needed to review it! The prices offered were better than the main other compare website, so I chose an option with Go Compare. It saved me approx £180 on my renewal quote! I will use this service again.

home insurance faff
Got my home insurance quotes all ok but when I clicked the link to the first insurance Aviva. The link took me to the Aviva website but it reported we don’t have any policies to show you. As this was only a quote so far I thought someone could have sorted this out. But nothing at all from Aviva on there chat bots or helplines. Was told it down to the comparison company and talk to them. Gocompair are very hard to contact and talk to anyone the best I could get is a reply from a email enquiry that says they will get back to me in 3 to 4 days !!!
Used alternative comparison company and all sorted no thanks Gocompair or Aviva.

Your cheapest this year was Brittania. You cannot ring them, have to sort out online. I dont like that. So this time i stayed with Tesco, i went with through you last year. I do like go compare, i go straight to you, although check others. Like you the best.
