Would give zero stars if I could

Would give zero stars if I could. Been with them for a while and I went to renew a domain name and it wasn’t even 30 days but they slapped a redemption fee of $80 to redeem my domain. I have always renewed no problem within 30days without a redemption fee, but not this time. ai chat said that the fee isn’t imposed until after 30days. Talks to a human associate and they said it can happen anywhere from 18-30days. Then I talked to a supervisor and they said there is nothing they can do. Things are getting real shady with them regardless, there should be a definitive date for things entering redemption! Not a window of time. It’s always been 30 days. STAY AWAY!

I had a problem with my email to upload…

I had a problem with my email to upload on my website and adjusting things to be placed on the website as well but when I called the customer service they fixed the issues in minutes! I’m very pleased of being a participate of GoDaddy the place to be!

The customer service is terrible

The customer service is absolutely terrible. You try and talk to someone about an issue (caused by GoDaddy) and they transfer you to other departments who are equally as clueless. Absolute joke of a company

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience has been beyond unacceptable.

I’ve had money taken out of my account by GoDaddy without any clear communication or prior email updates. When I queried this, I was told it related to moving my website onto a different package—something I did not agree to—they recommended that I should, so what was supposed to be a simple change has now dragged on for over five weeks and is still not resolved.

Throughout this entire process, getting any meaningful support has been incredibly difficult. No one follows up, and it feels almost impossible to speak to an actual person. Most responses come through AI systems, with no real accountability or resolution.

This ongoing situation has had a serious impact on my business, costing me a significant amount of money and lost bookings. It’s been frustrating, stressful, and completely avoidable with proper customer support.

Honestly, this is one of the most appalling service experiences I’ve had. If I could rate it lower than zero, I would. I would not trust this company if you rely on your website for business. If you’re looking for reliability, support, and confidence—avoid at all costs!!!!

If you believe the domain is being used fraudulently or in a way that misrepresents your business, we recommend reporting it to the current registrar or hosting provider, as well as submitting any applicable trademark or abuse complaints through the appropriate channels. If you believe GoDaddy branding is being used improperly on the site, you may also report that so it can be reviewed further.

This review is specifically for Ana with the call-in tech support team. I have had challenging experiences previously with GoDaddy, but, tonight was great.

Ana was patient and measured, but what was so appreciated was that she was able to fix an email problem with one of my custom business email addresses that was down.

Ana walked me through the steps and I know how challenging I can be; she did a fine job of walking me through the steps to achieve resolution.

Go Daddy - avoid - better platforms out there

A lot of words and no action - recieved response becase I used Trust Pilot, but this is just to aplease readers and myself. But no action for the last 4 days to resolve the issue. Further found that I am locked in and difficult to move! They dont really care about the SME businesses....

In a similar theme, although a response below from Go Daddy promising follow up, there has been no direct contact and no follow up has occurred? My requests for support or escalation of the problem have gone unanswered.......

Had a simple issue with a subscribe button on website. spent three and half hours on chat with three different support agents. Each going through the same script, each refering to a different platform which i wasnt using, and me having to send screen shots to confirm. Would avoid.
