GoEco made the entire experience incredibly easy from start to finish. They handle all the logistics, so you can actually relax and focus on the experience instead of the planning. Every detail felt taken care of (again), and whenever I had a question, they were quick to respond and genuinely helpful. It’s clear they really prioritize making sure you feel supported the whole time. I’d absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a well-organized, stress-free volunteer trip.

Volunteering through GoEco in Thailand was a great way to meet other International travelers and experience the Thai Community up close. As a teacher, I worked with school age Thai children creating crafts and leading fun activities with the Thai speaking staff. The program was very accommodating, It was a great way to experience Thai culture with the local community people, markets, beaches and beautiful Temples.

Once I found the program I wanted to join booking an appointment was really quick and easy, the application was simple and straightforward and once everything was finalised everything I had to do or get was provided so there was no stress on any information whatsoever. Any questions I had was answered quickly. Moreover the program at chipangali animal orphanage in Zimbabwe was honestly life changing in so many ways, from interacting with wild animals to living a different lifestyle, the whole experience was eye opening and left me with memories and stories I will tell for the rest of my life.

I completed the Women’s Empowerment program in Sri Lanka. I couldn’t recommend it more. The program was actually impactful and engaging for the women, with the perfect balance of support from coordinators and freedom of lesson planning.

I went to Chipangalli Wildlife Orphanage in Zimbabwe.
It was a very good and amazing experience.
The people was very friendly with me and they helped me with all things and they were patient with my English that isn't very good.
GoEco was a great suppurt too. They advised me on the visa process, tickets purchase, and were attentive to my trip and stay at Chipangali.
I'm very grateful for this experience, with Chipangali team and GoEco.

I was looking for 2 week volunteering experiences and Go Eco put me in touch with several ecological organizations that I could do work with for the 2-week duration of my trip. Thank you !

An amazing trip at the sanctuary! Tassin and the team were incredibly welcoming and supportive and ensured I had the best experience. Thank you so much

I’ve had the most amazing second trip through GoEco in South Africa this time at a wildlife conservation ranch. The wildlife ranch was amazingly run and so magical. Had the best time working with the wild animals and learning more about them.

The GoEco Big 5 volunteer project at Siyafunda Research Station was fun, interesting, rewarding and educational. Ranger guides are very professional and informative. Living in a bush camp made it very immersive.

WFFT is a well-organized, well-run program that helps animals of many species thrive after they can no longer be released into the wild. Everyone working at the organization is dedicated and unfailingly helpful. This is a physically and emotionally challenging trip, and the accommodations are very basic. But what you get out of helping—for an organization that cannot exist without volunteers—is simply amazing. I highly recommend GoEco and WFFThailand.

The whole experience was fantastic. The organisation, communication and preparation were clear on GoEco's side. I felt able to ask questions if need be but most information had been covered through the meetings and information packs I had received. At the project I felt like I was making a difference and the staff there provided me with extensive information regarding the work they do and how to fully engage with them and the wider community. I really appreciated the whole experience. Thank you.

First of all the people i met along the way became like a second family to me and it was amazing spending time with all the people our guide was amazing and so was the staff, secondly i learnt so much about wildlife that i didn’t know before and by the end of the trip i could identify most animals and genders of the animals with ease. It was an absolutely amazing experience being with such amazing people and being in the wild connected with nature, i highly recommend it to everyone.

This was my first time volunteering and I was very pleased with it overall. As a 60-year old I wondered about fitting in as these programs tend to attract younger people, but I felt I proved up to all the tasks required of the program and made a few new friends in the process.
I would definitely do another volunteer project through GoEco; their communication and support was great throughout.
And my advice to anyone interested in volunteering? Do your research and understand what is expected of you, but mainly just go for it because they are memorable experiences in so many ways!

Traveling half way around the world to volunteer effort, time and energy on marine conservation takes trust. GoEco delivered, far exceeding any preconceived expectations and hopes we had before arriving on Naifaru. The entire team provided thorough support, training and guidance so that we could participate, contribute and perform to our utmost potential. We left with a tremendous sense of achievement, accomplishment and countless unforgettable memories.

Go Eco review
As a slightly older volunteer (in my fifties) I was a bit nervous about what it would be like to volunteer abroad but I need not have worried. The Go Eco team were very supportive in the lead up to the trip and checked in with me whilst I was away as well as when I got home.
I received such a warm welcome on arrival and was helped to sort out my phone with a sim card so I could use it whilst away. The programme itself was so well organised; varied and interesting and the staff and other volunteers were friendly and helpful.
Everything about the whole experience was wonderful, from caring for the animals to the food and accommodation. I could not have had a better time. My only complaint (and it is a big one) is that the time went by in a flash and I wish I had gone for longer!

ReefCI is passionate about nature and conservation. The leaders were knowledgeable and friendly. If you love to dive, and "dive with a purpose," this is the trip for you. Many invasive lionfish were captured and the on-site chef prepared them deliciously! It is an enlightening experience to spend a week without internet or cell service. Easy to bond with fellow volunteers!

Overall, my experience with GoEco was positive. The program was well organized, and the local team was supportive and responsive during my stay. The project itself was meaningful and gave me the opportunity to engage with the local community.
Overall, I would recommend GoEco to those interested in volunteering abroad and gaining hands-on experience.
