We did the London Royal walking tour and the Jack the Ripper walking tour with Jim. He was amazing, very animated well informed, clear and gave everyone the time to ask questions without feeling that... See more

Very disappointed
It was very cold and the bus was late we were told to arrive at 4:45 we had a call at £5:20 to say they had trouble with the bus it arrived a little after 5:30 by this time we were very cold
The staff were lovely and apologised
I did think we would have been offered hot drinks straightaway but we weren’t
We were given the cranberry spritz we had ordered which were flat
My husband glass was cracked and I didn’t drink mine
The hot drinks came which were lukewarm
I won’t be booking a tea bus tour again
The bus stop was at least half a mile away from the directions you get when you click in the address. We made the bus with one minute to spare after a long walk down Buckingham Palace Road. When I advised the staff of the terrible directions, he totally ignored me. Obviously not the first time it had happened. All Golden Tours needed to do was changed the way the address appears and make it clear it is Bus Stop
8 and not 8 Buckingham Palace Road! Would not use this company again due to their unwillingness to accept feedback
Excellent your full of information and laughs, really enjoy Bruce's stories and history
Unfortunately I had to cancel. The process was a very quick call and refund process. Not all was lost. Upset I couldn't make it but hopefully next year. Seem like a well oiled company.
I booked the Taylor Swift afternoon tea bus for my daughter and her friend for Christmas (due to it being Taylor’s birthday that same day!!)
When we got onboard, we had very high expectations for it. The bus was decorated nicely, however that’s where the compliments end sadly.
The two hosts were friendly enough, but you could tell that they wanted to be anywhere else but on that bus!
Our expectations of the tour, were that the hosts would interact with the passengers (like a a lot of London tour guides would do), getting them to sing & dance along in their seats. However, apart from asking us what we wanted to drink, that was the limit of their interaction with any of us. They just sat at the back of the bus for the rest of the journey and couldn’t look any more bored!
The afternoon tea itself was average. Sandwiches were ok, but my daughter found a very long hair in one of hers & we were also disappointed that the cakes were clearly shop bought too.
And I have to also mention the music. My daughter and her friend are huge Swifties & love singing along to her songs, however we heard the same song played five times & there were many of her bigger hits that weren’t played at all. The songs were clearly on some kind of loop and it all just felt very ‘flat’.
We also didn’t get to see some of the sites that were mentioned on the tour (Buckingham Palace, Tower of London), but that didn’t bother us too much, as we know what London traffic can be like!
Overall, would I recommend this tour to anybody?
As it stands now, then no I wouldn’t.
However, with some improvements to the food and more interaction from the staff, then I think this could be a really fun 90 minutes for Taylor Swift fans.
Unfortunately, definitely NOT AT ALL worth the £167 we paid & I am gutted now that we didn’t put the money towards something else.
Thank you Abbey for a great tour and even better Dad jokes
Wrong bus stop advised in booking details we weren’t the only ones affected and it was a bit chaotic
People serving on the bus not at all engaging just there to do a job no enjoyment from them like I’ve experienced on previous bus afternoon tea excursions
Very flat and disappointing with the experience would not recommend
Great bus ride, mulled wine, mince pie and shortbread a nice touch. Christmas music was great.
Lots of traffic but means you get to view the lights at a slow pace.
It was a lovely tour of London. The only reason it wasn’t 5 star was because it was really unorganised getting onto the bus. Only two people scanning tickets and a bit of a free for all! Once we were seated the event made up for it.
The whole experience was great. The staff, driver and especially Mike the tour guide. Can’t wait for next year
Great experience Suki was brilliant driver great. Loved it
The staff were very pleasant and attentive
The evening was such fun with a singalong.
Warmed mince pie and mulled wine were just right for the occasion .
Started my festive spirit off !!
Our tour started early but our from the start our tour guide Bruce memorized our faces and names and that in its self was to be commended. Zaw, our driver got us to each destination safely and was ever so humble and polite. Bruce ensured everyone's safety, showed his appreciation to us all, was user friendly and assisted us if we had questions or help. These gents made the tour so well worthy the time. I'm honored to have been on this guide with Bruce as he's left a lasting impression and made visiting London all the better.
Bruce was absolutely amazing! He was fun and had a bunch of interesting facts. He made the trip so much more exciting and memorable. Thank you to him and our driver Zhao for getting us everywhere safely and on time!
The superb and engaging commentary by Jay- peppered with nuggets about British history- made the tour ever so fascinating!
Good service & promptly responded for all query, thanks 👍
I don't even know where to start it. A dreadful experience and would not recommend to anyone. Poor organisation when we arrived. Not a single Christmas decoration on the bus. No commentary on the bus and due to the planned closure of Regents Street (note PLANNED) we hardly saw any lights. We should have been informed of the closure and offered a change of day or a refund. Absolutely awful.
Bruce and his driver are fantastic. Lots of energy and information are given to audience.
We had a brilliant time on the light tour in London. Ethan kept us all entertained and gave us a lot of information. We got the best pictures because of him. Very happy customer, will definitely book again.
Great tour, the guide was very informative and entertaining
