The course was closed! There should be better communication between GolfNow and the participating golf courses prior to showing available tee times. This should not happen. How do I get a refund?

I have always had exceptional service on the few times I've called to speak to an agent. Just today, I spoke with "Sema". I was discussing my renewal which has changed AGAIN (obviously not an employee's decision) and she was very understanding, transparent and PROFESSIONAL. She is not in a position to resolve my concerns but promised to call me back in a couple of hours. I think the issues here might surround management and the fact that what Golfnow/Golfpass "used" to represet and what they offer today has eroded in segmental stages - including a sizeable price increase this year! I'm on the cusp of cancelling Golfnow in place of a competitor. It's disappointing because I've been a member for a LOOOONG time. That said, if my dedication/investments (they've never had to wait for payment from me) are not appreciated, I have little choice but to move on. Finally, I have referred Golfnow to untold number of golfers from Arizona to Canada. Perhaps I might have to put that on hold until I hear back from Sema's supervisor?

You end up paying the same amount minus a dollar or two. And they sell your personal information to other companies. Garbage.

I just signed into my Golf Now account and found that I only had 3,849 points??? I knew that last time I looked I had 20,000+ points.
Where did they go?
So I looked for recent emails that I had received from Golf Now.
I received an email from Golf Now on Feb 4, 2026 asking me to renew my membership and encouraged me to use my points towards renewing my membership. This email stated that I had 27,040 points. I ended up not renewing my membership at that time.
I called in today to see where my points have gone and they told me they expired and that I'm not able to get them back. Once their gone their gone. All points expire after one year.
So I then asked if they send out email reminders to their members of expiring points and they said no we do not.
I then asked if they could reinstate my expired points and they said no.
I then asked them if they could reinstate them so that I can use these points towards renewing my membership and they said no.
I then asked how long I've been a member and they told me since 2017.
All I can say is that it's a very very poor way to treat a member who has had a membership with them for the last 9 years...

Golf now charged my card for a tee time, that I never got confirmation or a receipt for. Called customer service, who informed me, that although golf now was at fault, they would credit my account for 6 months. I demanded a full refund to my card. They refused. So they screw up and still keep my money. Never ever again. DO NOT USE GOLF-NOW

I canceled my reservation 22 hours prior to my tee time due to an emergency medical condition, and I did not get any credit or refund. I understand the policy requires 24 hrs' notice. However, 22 hours is plenty of time; the golf course was able to re-book my spot in no time, so why I did not get any credit or refund? what a joke

I got dupped into joining this outfit. I can never get any deals. I search all courses within 15 miles of Stuart FL Out as far a 10-12 days. Never any tee times available at a discount rate. I asked for a refund and no response. Save your money, go directly to the courses you prefer. This Golfpass Goodnow id as rip off.

Easy to book and found my tee time easily.

GolfNow makes it really easy to book tee times. The website is very member friendly.

When I book more than 1 why aren't they all under my name?

These guys are terrible. I'm a paid member and could not move a tee time. They would not move it for me. So, I canceled for a full refund. Unbelievable!

This is the absolute worst company I've ever seen. They'll use fine print to take your money and provide no customer support. I paid extra money to cancel which I did cancel due to weather. They then issued a credit only that was next to impossible to use based on the small print. This is a bunch of crooks and avoid all costs.
UPDATE: YOU CAN SEE THE COMPANY RESPONDED TO MY REVIEW AND IT IS A CANNED RESPONSE. I HAVE ALREADY TALKED TO THEIR REPRESENTATIVES ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS AND THEY ALL TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING THEY WOULD DO TO HELP MY SITUATION. THIS RESPONSE IS SIMPLY TO CONFUSE OTHER PEOPLE THAT ARE READING THESE REVIEWS TO SUGGEST THAT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SOMEWHAT HELPFUL. THEY ARE NOT. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO FIX THE SITUATION THEN FEEL FREE TO REACH OUT AND RESOLVE IT AT (540)840-8470 and then I will appropriately update this review.

HI! I wanted to use my points at booking. Instructions stated that there would be a pop up at payment. Nothing showed up so I was not able to use my points. Suggestions?

I booked three tee times in Florida on Golf Now before I left Canada in early January this year. I arrived at the first course and paid my green fees in the Pro Shop for the reservation, and then when I returned to Canada, I see a charge for $100.16 from Golf Now for the same reservation that I paid at the course. I thought it would be a straight forward conversation with Golf Now to refund the duplicate charge. After contacting customer Service (Ridley), and after providing all the necessary documentation which clearly outlines the duplicated charge including credit card statements, course information, credit card information, date & time of the booking etc, Golf Now is saying that they cannot see the charge in their records and they will not be refunding the $100.16 Cdn funds. This is outright fraud!! I would recommend not using Golf Now ever, as there ability to manage even the simplest of customer service issues reveals a fundamental problem with using this platform. I would recommend calling the Pro Shop directly for all future bookings.

The website shows a hot deal which I book with my credit card and after I provide a credit card it states t time is no longer available. But the t time continues to show available on the website again that day and the next day so I tried again and same result. Then my login shows an error and to contact customer service but their is no customer service number to find anywhere on their website so you have to google the service number which I called. The first call dropped while waiting for an agent, the second call dropped after getting an agent who I asked to check if in fact the t time was available or not so I had to call in a third time and the agent said they are having trouble updating t times. I asked why the system books my credit card and then tells me the t time is no longer available vs telling me first and she had no answer. This system has promise but their execution is very poor.

Many customers run into problems with GolfNow not because of the courses, but because of how the platform operates once something goes wrong.
Customer service is a major weak point. Responses are slow, often generic, and rarely address the specific issue being raised. In situations involving cancellations, weather issues, or course errors, customers frequently report being pushed toward credits instead of refunds, even when they didn’t receive the service they paid for. Escalation options are limited, and follow-up communication is inconsistent.
The business model itself adds to the frustration. GolfNow collects payment upfront, adds service fees, and positions itself as the intermediary. But when there’s a dispute, responsibility is deflected back to the course. This leaves customers stuck between two parties, with neither fully owning the problem. The end result is often time lost, money tied up in restricted credits, and no clear resolution.
Pricing transparency is another issue. Tee times are marketed as deals, but additional fees at checkout can eliminate any savings. In many cases, booking directly with the course is cheaper and offers clearer cancellation policies.
Taken together, these practices create an experience where customers carry most of the risk, while the platform keeps the fees and limits its accountability. Whether intentional or not, the system consistently works against the customer when problems arise, which is why many golfers choose to avoid using the platform again.

Anytime I go to a new town I use Golf Now to look up courses to play. And to check prices. I do read about each course & the superlatives that the pro shop has offered up. I usually ask a local about the courses I’ve found on Golf Now. So I use it to narrow my search.

Great course and easy booking through GolfNow. I like the way fees are explained and no surprises. The gentlemen at Dogwood Hills were super friendly and made you feel they appreciated your business. I will play thete again!
