Went to buy some walking shoes/boots today and was impressed by the level of customer service. I was given space to actually walk around and decide for myself which ones would work best for my needs. And when I did narrow it down to a few options the server Nabeil was very attentive and polite. I was able to try on the shoes I was interested in very quickly and he was very helpful in describing the pro and con of each pair.

Fantastic service, extremely helpful even though close to closing time on a Sunday. Staff helped us select and fit a roof box and bars. Their attitude was above and beyond what you could expect, good to see that customer service was their priority. Very friendly, informative and listened to our needs before suggesting items. Cannot fault them in any way. James and Ianto were the staff who provided this outstanding service, can’t praise them enough.

I was in some deliberation about sizing of walking shoes. Nabeil and his colleague were extremely helpful and patient following my constant requests for a particular size.

Nabeil was an incredibly helpful and attentive member of staff. He saw me looking at shoes and came over and offered help and advice without me needing to approach him first. He suggested other shoes I hadn’t been looking at myself and gave me a great insight into some of their key features. It was a very positive experience and it is lovely to go into a store and be met with such helpful staff. Thank you!

When we took chairs out bags the were burst at front of chairs

Biggest Go Outdoors I have been to, great choice and many Sale items. Nabeil in shoe section was very polite and found our shoes immediately.

Mandy was an amazing help to select our water proof jackets for our upcoming Canadian trip. She seemed to be everywhere including helping with the changing room access and on the till. Very helpful applying our Go outdoors loyalty card and my student card. Big savings and fantastic service.

We were camping in the area but had experienced an issue with the gas we were using for our stove. We called in at the Bangor store and were welcomed straight away by the manager, James. We explained our issue and he was able to show us exactly why we had the issue we did and show us which products would rectify this. It was clear immediately that James knew his stuff and was passionate about camping - he was incredibly knowledgeable. He noticed that we had pulled up in the car park with a roof tent and was discussing this with us too. I had asked him, given his knowledge of the area, if there was anywhere he could recommend for us to pitch up with the roof tent. Without hesitation, James showed us a location that he frequents which is suitable for our needs and where we could also take a dip in the lake. I’ve never been wild swimming and always wanted to, so we decided to try his recommendation. It was beautiful & I even tried my first wild swim as a result! James was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and took the time to discuss not just products we could buy but the local area too - he definitely went above and beyond! So much so, that we called in again later in the week to thank him for his advice and recommendations as those experiences had made our week!

Products and store employees are always amazing

Went on 2 separate days to post parcels and was served by Nabeil. He was lovely. Very efficient and helpful. Also really friendly. He's a great addition to your staff. Give that man a pay rise!!

We had an issue with the waterproofing of a new tent that we bought in April.
We spoke to a staff member, named Paul who gave us options & helped us exchange the tent for a different model.
Paul provided a 5 star service & is an asset to Go Outdoors!!!
He was extremely helpful as were the 2 other team members that we dealt with. (Apologies for not remembering your names)
Everyone had a friendly & professional attitude along with being extremely helpful!!!

Only came in for the Evri parcel drop off. Not sure why one street door is labelled “gym” as they all go into the same foyer! Drop off is at back of 1st floor. Nabeil efficiently accepted my parcel and requested a review. So here it is!!
