I visited the Chester store with my husband to buy a pair of walking shoes. Unfortunately I did not have my discount card and it could not be found online. The staff, Steve, Tracey and Abi went out of their way to assist me and the problem was resolved.
PS I spoke to the helpline today and now have my card number for future purchases. The operative was unable to explain why it had not been activated online.
But well done Chester for providing a positive experience. Thank you.

Solution to forgotten crutches
While in Chester for an overnight stay my wife realised she had left her crutches at home. As a short term solution we thought of walking sticks and were directed to Go Outdoors. Staff at the shop were very helpful especially Steve C and Rebecca. Steve brought down a camping chair for my wife to sit on while being served which was most appreciated. We managed to buy two walking sticks at a great price by becoming a member and this saved us a good amount. We were able to enjoy the rest of our stay. Thanks very much for your help and efficiency.
