Excellent and helpful service from Steve at the Chester store today. Able to advise on sizing available for various boot brands for Children and had some excellent advice with regards to safety for a sleeping bag for a child. Also had an excellent experience at the pay desk with both colleagues there. Thank you!

Called into the store yesterday to return a pair of walking shoes purchased from the Saltney shop. Straight away we were greeted by Paul. After explaining the reason for returning the shoes, Paul showed us the range they had. He was so helpful. He explained the technical benefits and disadvantages of shoes l looked at. After trying different shoes I found a pair that I was happy with. Thank you Go Outdoors, and thank you Paul.

We were served by Steve who was an absolute legend. This is the epitome of caring for the customer. We wanted to buy the DoFE kit and he was patient and explained the options. He took time in ensuring we had the right products and during this time he didn’t ignore other customers as well and ensured they were also being served. Ethan helped put the order through with no fuss and sorted delivery of items that were available online. Super team!

Haydn was extremely helpful. We went in for walking boots for DofE for my daughter. He gave us lots of really useful advice about the boots but also for the hike too!

I was really impressed with my visit to Chester Go Outdoors. I was assisted by Steve C who asked if I needed any advice on walking boots, and it turned out I did! He advised me on the best brand for my narrow feet (Scarpa), and found a pair that suited my needs. He also double checked they were in the offer that was running at the time before I purchased them. Superb friendly and efficient service by Paul when I bought a new walking jacket. Saved me a considerable sum of money by readily price matching the figure on another retailer's website, and even discounted it by another ten percent without me even asking. Couldn't have been a better experience.

Salesman SC was a knowledgeable keen walker himself and spent the time I needed to get the right walking shoe for me after I had discussed the problems I was having with my current shoes. I came away spending more than intending but happier with the new walking shoes.
Salesman P at the counter was also helpful and efficient.

What can I say! Never have I been served by people who are so attentive. All 4 members of staff, Steve C, Jo, Tracey and Paul went above and beyond for me. Super friendly and excellent product knowledge. You don't find this level of service nowadays. All 4 are a credit to the business and will be the reason I return. Great shop, great people and great service.
