A huge thank you to David C. During a recent camping trip I lost a set of tent poles and it was looking like I may have to go home early. David C went above and beyond to help and managed to get me a set of poles which worked perfectly. He really did save the day and I managed to enjoy the rest of my trip. Visited today to purchase some new trainers and was served by Alan. Lovely guy and very helpful and professional trying to find some trainers for some very awkward feet. After trying on about 4 types I found the perfect pair and was advised they are cheaper than I thought as I have a membership. Bonus!

Big shout out to Chris "mohawk" Ross on helping us confirm that the Berghaus Adhara 700xl was the tent for us. We are seasoned campers and were looking for a bigger tent to add to our collection for longer trips. Chris spent time with us and explained everything. Top guy with no sales pressure at all. In fact, so much so, we also came away with the Berghaus Adhara 300! Also a shout out to Chloe on the tills. Great shopping experience!

Had a pair of Merrell Goretex boots…
Had a pair of Merrell Goretex boots that had failed me on a hiking trip to Bute. Soggy wet feet were not what I expected!
I dealt with Alan in the Clydebank branch and he was so good. Such a nice man with old fashioned manners. He offered me the choice of swapping for another style/brand. I went with a straight replacement and left the shop very happy.
