Served by Kia & Jack both were very helpful. Kia on the till was very knowledgeable and helped me complete a product exchange with no fuss. Taking time to explain my various options. I was very pleased with the service.

First I went to a store to pick up an item that the website said it had in stock, I got there and it wasn’t. The staff couldn’t be bothered to go and check the stock room and came up with all kinds of excuses such as “there’s not enough people in to go and check”. At the same time, the website was still saying that the store had it in stock.
I wrote to complain about this and heard nothing back, so bought the item elsewhere.

Then I ordered a tent online and my members card wouldn’t work, so had to phone them up to rectify. After about 2 days from ordering, they cancelled it with no explanation as to why. The email just said “sorry, we’ve cancelled your order”, it was still in stock online though. I had to phone them up and they said that it was cancelled because the store I was collecting it from couldn’t fulfil the order from their stock…just send it from the warehouse to the store!?
No sorry or goodwill gesture given.

Poor service throughout, the only reason I shop is because of the discount otherwise I’d go elsewhere.

Served by Tom who was polite, patient, and knowledgeable about the various available options. Once he knew that one of us was actively doing a charity walk from Lands End to John o’ Groats (he was on day 15 and had already walked over 300 miles) he managed to find a really good deal on a new pair of walking boots and we really appreciated the trouble he took making sure everything was perfect.

Quick, easy, very friendly and helpful till girl. Got everything I needed (OEX Heiro stove & 100g gas canister) plus a few extras (OEX collapsible cup and 2-for-1 camp mallets) at a great price. Easy free parking too.

Went into the store to pay for a MTB I had reserved on 30.5.26 couldn't take it there and then as would not fit in my car Advised I would be back the next day today got there only to be told no bike technician in so couldn't collect the bike as the technician only works Monday to Friday. Fuming

The girl on the checkout (Kia) was very helpful. She price checked my query and was very professional.

Went in got five items payed full pricehanded off discount card it said i had saved money but infact i never saved a penny allso was not told about saveing off web site tried to ring store no one can pick up phone total 3 quarters off an hour not happy at all had to drive back up 30 miles just to sort it out

We had such a fantastic experience today at GO Outdoors thanks to George. He was absolutely amazing from start to finish. So knowledgeable, friendly, approachable and genuinely passionate about helping customers.

My husband and I were looking for new walking boots and honestly couldn’t have chosen the right ones without his help. George really knew his stuff, took the time to listen to what we needed, explained everything clearly and made us both feel very welcome and comfortable throughout.

Customer service like this is hard to find these days and George is a real credit to the store. Thank you again for all your help — we left feeling confident, well looked after and very excited for our upcoming trips!

We were served by Kia who was on the checkouts by herself, with quite a queue to get through. She was calm and very kind to everyone, making friendly chat as she went along whilst still getting through the queue efficiently. She put a smile on our faces before we left, thank you for brightening our morning!

I was in quite the rush, a train to catch and needed camping supplies. I was served by a staff member Kadi, who was efficient, diligent and calm. Not having time to walk through the whole shop searching for 'this and that' Kadi seemed aware of what go out doors has and where in the shop to locate the item. And then even offering to get the item. I hope a managerial role is on the horizon for Kadi.
