Staff were very informative

The member of staff who was so helpful and kind. He helped me solve an incorrect store delivery but still I ended up with the two backpacks I wanted from the store.

Staff all very helpful. Dealt with 3. One was not as knowledgeable as the others.
Good products at competitive pricing.

Bought a Tilley hat yesterday, there was a good selection and Nick was very helpful. He gave us space to have a good look, offered help and advice appropriately and made it a fun and pleasant visit to the store..

Nick was friendly from the off, listened as I explained what I required, and gave the pros and cons of everything from the cheapest to the most expensive. As a bloke we don’t do shopping, but this was an enjoyable experience, thank you all.

I went in to buy a pair of hiking boots to climb Kilimanjaro in, Cheryl and another member of the team really helped me choose the best fit for both my feet and the activity, she took lots of time to make sure they were perfect and gave such great advice for both socks and boots! These boots were much better than previous pair (bought elsewhere) and really made the hike so much easier, finally having a pair of boots that fit me well and were comfortable! I really appreciate the effort and time taken to help get me organised and ready for my big adventure!

Brought something on line had buy another membership because I couldn't find how to put my details in,when asked sale person in horsham about it,he didn't know totally wasn't helpful or bothered.just take yr money and see you! Same old british customer service!

Aaron helped me find new walking shoes. Not only did he know the products he was selling very well, he was able to direct me to the best shoes for my needs and foot shape and was more than happy to spend time and provide relevant advice to ensure I was happy. Great staff and a friendly store with good stock. Worth far more than trying to save a few quid online buying something where fit matters most!! Thanks

Great selection of gear, in particular walking shoes and boots - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff - what more v does any customer need from a bricks and mortar retailer.

Ben was extremely helpful. He offered advice and answered my questions with knowledge and experience of the item of clothing I wanted. He also left me alone to browse and try on the various different styles.

I collected some trainers from my local store, ordered online, and, as the online membership discount does not work, I claimed this discount from the store when I collected these trainers.
For some reason the system did not show these trainers' price net of the Membership discount. Once it was established that I was a due my membership discount, it was processed successfully.
The renewal membership doesn't seem to work online, which, if it did, would remove the need to provide a refund of the membership discount.
Otherwise, everything fine

I went into the Horsham branch recently and was shocked to learn of their two tier pricing. My granddaughters picked out a hat and water bottle which came to £25. It rang up at the till at £44 because wasn't a member. I could join for £5!! I have never paid to shop as a customer and don't intend on doing so. All customers should be equal. It's a shop, not an exclusive club. Needless to say all the goods were left on the counter. There was only one other person in the whole shop. I wonder how long that business model will last?
On a positive note the staff were polite and I got the feeling they had to apologise and explain on numerous occasions for this incredible stupidity of their employers.

Checked the shop for sizes and then went on line to get correct size for myself really handy. Good communication on status.

Just a truly brilliant , helpful and professional service

We bought a pair of walking boots and a pair of shoes. The man who helped us was really good, being very knowledgeable. However, the female assistant on the till was ridiculously aggressive and patronising when I queried the discount from the Go Outdoors card. It spoiled our visit and I will think hard before going there again.

James was very helpful and patient, while I tried on a number of walking shoes, including getting me a second pair of the same shoes as one of the first pair didn’t feel quite right. He not only listened but replied back making conversation whilst he served, not something that you always get from shop assistants. He was also knowledgeable about the products he was selling. Georgia (2264), at your Horsham branch on 4th April 2026, was so helpful in assisting my adult son with Down syndrome to select a light weight coat. She was patient and calm and took time to listen to him and me. Brilliant service.
