The guy who served me on the till was great, very friendly and helpful. I forgot my blue light card until I had paid but he happily refunded the additional discount for me. Unfortunately the other staff on duty weren't equally pleasant or it would have been 5 stars.

My partner and I went to look for footwear and clothing. Celeste helped us immediately whilst taking our purchases to the till so that we could continue browsing. A friendly service and efficient too.

Celeste was very supportive today in helping myself pick a walking boot, giving numerous options and plenty of information about each.

Friendly and helpful staff, suggested alternative trainers when the ones I tried on were not suitable, very patient and chatty throughout the time we were in the store. Big thanks to Emma G, Matt and Eve.

Ive always had excellent service from Go Outdoors but was let down with my latest order. I tried to place this multi item order for delivery to my home address but for some reason one of the items was deemed unsuitable for delivery. Disappointing but I could still collect from my nearest store.
However, after 8 days and no email to let me know it was in store and awaiting collection. I eventually visited the store to find that, thankfully, it was there.
Communication definitely needs improvement regarding the items ready for collection and if an item is unsuitable for delivery can you indicate which item is not suitable.

My bike is ready when i picked it up and they explained about getting it check within 6 weeks

Denise gave great service, nothing too much trouble, really related to my specific needs and made some great suggestions.

Went to the store for some walking boots. Quite a few were on display. Then, a shop assistant came over, very polite and very helpful, with no pressure. She explained what I should be looking for after asking a few questions. I tried on three pairs and made my purchase. Denise is an asset to the company. I went to check out, and again, a very polite, helpful assistant, Roxie, made my shopping experience most enjoyable.

Me and my partner are walking novices due to climb Ben Nevis! We were looked after by team member Celeste who gave us some brilliant advice and matched us up with the perfect walking boots. She was very knowledgeable, took time to listen to us and what we wanted first to then advise us on the right footwear. She was welcoming, smiley and professional which sadly isn’t very common in a lot of retail environments nowadays. Thanks for everything!

Great store with lots of stock. We wanted walking boots,Denise was very helpful, making sure they fitted right, there was no rush and she brought out a number of shoes to make sure they were right.
Rosie was also very helpful, getting us a new store card.

I was looking for a backpack for site and city seeing use. I already have a substantial daypack for walking. I wanted something more manageable for the stated use. Max talked me through the various sizes that would be best for my use. I eventually purchased one of these which I am very happy with. Great service

I was looking for hiking boots at short notice to do a day hike that would involve scrambling, and probable wet weather.
Belle, one of the Go Outdoor Customer Service Team at Ipswich, helped me through the process. She was informative, gave good advice, choice of brands and gave me time. After trying on 3 pairs of walking shoes and leaving her recommendation till last, it was those I chose. The Merrills Speed Strike 2 hiking shoes (the most expensive pair out of the three). I wore them in at home for a few days and spent over 8 hours in them up and down an elevation of 3,800 ft approximately and completed my hike.
Result:- No blisters, just achy feet afterwards but hey they are definitely broken in now!
